Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition

Oh the excitement of trying out for a design team!! I have not created with Graphic45, but have salivated every time I saw the papers online.  Its only here recently that  the local Hobby Lobby started carrying the line...I have projects in mind but didn't have the time to create! and now, here it is, DT Call!! Well I hope I'm at least considered with the projects I chose...these are some designs from not a too far away past...

1. My Take on an Explosion Butterfly Box

Butterflies flying on acetate lots of movement 

The butterflies looks like they are hovering over head, neat illusion eh?

2. Teapot Mini Album "Once in a Lifetime"

I drew it, scanned it & cut it with Cricut

3. "Mini Teapots on parade" Mini Album

These are the tiny pots I turned into svg files to create this mini

Will be having a tutorial on how to make this journaling spot :) 

 

4. Front of a Goodie Gift Bag  for Valentines Day!

I made from start to finish on a  youtube tutorial.

TGIF! Stamp time

It's Friday and that means another project for 

I BRAKE FOR STAMPS. With the puppy excitement I almost forgot to create! But the good thing about having stamps readily available, is that they make it so easy to create! An ink pad, some markers, a lil glue and presto an awesome project!!  Today I made a tag instead of card using this really cute image of a basket filled with heart shaped cookies. Its called  "Basket of Heart Scones"!

Nervous time...puppies!

Hi!! Abbie, Brandi's dog is having puppies!! right now as we  speak!! well as I type lol She had the first and only puppy at about 2pm its now 3:33!! How long does this take!!!   She had the first puppy out in the middle of the yard...like as if she was just walking around and then "bang" puppy! I heard a squeal and saw her licking and licking...i called and she wouldn't come...so at closer inspection the puppy was just laying there, head still up inside! yuck right/??? lol I helped...puppy not moving...and I was home alone!!! Well I cleaned and rubbed the puppies tummy until it started crying!! Abbie then got up and headed to her bed!! sooo now she looks content with just the one puppy!! but you can tell she is in labor, lots of panting and hard breathing going on... I will post pics later...and in the famous words from Blanche (Golden Girls)"I'm as jumpy as a vergin at a prison rodea!" lol

Found the solution to the Reply issue!

Hi!!   I finally found the "Fix" for this issue, if your suffering from REPLY problems try this. Please remember to "download" or SAVE your current html code first! ya' know just incase this doesn't work you can go back to how it used to be! capish?
Ok for me the problem was solved by doing the following...
click on "Design"
then on  "Edit HTML" ---remember to save first!
then way at the bottom of your html window is a link that reads
"Revert Widget Templates to Default" I clicked on this, saved and presto...REPLY now works! Plus I got all the other neat little icons like share to facebook etc.!  Ok life can continue now!!! hahaha

Reply problems :(

Hi all...I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I have been trying to fix the reply link on my comments but have been unsuccessful!  I don't know if you guys have this problem but I noticed that almost everyone's blog, but mine!, has a "reply" link directly below each comment left. Which makes it easy to respond to a comment. My blog is lacking in that department! and I cant seem to find the "fix"  I need.  I REALLY do appreicate all the comments made and want to full heartedly respond, but sometimes I dont have an email address and other times when I follow the name  there is no blog info for me to visit!  If anyone can assist me with this I would be soooo greatful and might even throw in a lil HAPPY gift!! Im THAT desperate to fix this problem! lol

TGIF! Stamped project time!

Hi...seems Fridays are getting a here a whole lot faster now that I have to post a stamped project! lol I am sure having fun with these stamps though. For this project I chose to make a  -Thank You -  card using the "Medium Sunflower" stamp from IBFS.  I colored it with copic markers and filled in each petal with Glossy Accents, and tons of Diamond Stickles for loads of sparkle.  Lots of dimension in this card and ya' know me, had to use my decorative dies.  I just think they make everything look so purdy!

This card started out small but ended up being a whopping 7x6 card! wow huh? I love it, Im in the process of creating the envelope, I know exactly who this card is for! I used the "Vintage Hats" stamp, one of my favorite nestability die and to border the bottom of the page, some Wild Orchid Craft rosettes, (also found at IBrakeforStamps.com) I added just a hint of color, some teal and of course, it wouldn't be my project without stickles!!!  So...what you think?
