A new Cub Joins the PRIDE..Yvette!!!

Sooo excited to announce the Pride has adoped a new cub!!! My very talented friend ~Yvette, from  DaileyScrapper has been adopted into the PRIDE of Just a Few Friends!!! ROAR! HI HI! How is everyone doing? Im kinda excited cause I was able to get in my craft room, blow the dust and cobwebs off my supplies and do a lil crafting! I relax so much while in my room...its like...ahhhhhhhhh! lol sooo...WELCOME all to our September HOP!! YAY!  The Pride has been ubber busy creating for our "STRUT YOUR STYLE" hop.  Did you all know that my group now has 11 members??? yeah, I'm just so happy about that...and these cubs have mad skillz.  They have been busy in their dens just thinking of ways to inspire you to keep creating.  I am the first stop on this hop...and check out what I've created!  but first let me tell you, this month was all about our individual style. We had to create something that represented what we love...and guess what I made??? come on...guess?  lol If you have been following me, you probably guessed correctly! take at look at my project. I made 2 of these...one is going Arlene as a project swap ((SURE hope she likes it!! ))and the other I'm keep and putting up on my wall.

You and I will craft together! ROUND HALLOWEEN IAR DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE!!

HELLO!!  sooo this is my very first project for the Halloween season! I just LOVE love LOVE Halloween, the colors, the costumes, the candy! mmmm and that fact that it start to cool down in the evenings, a huge plus.  I pulled out all my creepy papers and even bought some more! This card is for the IAM Roses Design team challenge, and you should create one also and submit it! (yeah yeah!)You might win some really neat goodies from IAR!

I am so Blessed!!!

Hello everyone! I do not know where to start to THANK all of you, my friends, my followers, who have left me such kind words and kept us in your prayers.  The amount of emails I recieved during the few weeks I was feeling so down was totally a Blessing!! I read each and everyone and tried to answer everyone...if by chance I missed you, please don't be hurt or think I don't care. I have been so busy and overwhelmed lately, but I do CARE and I do appreciate everyone and each of you!!!

Now for a follow up...Brandi is doing GREAT!  The hospital stay really did it's job. As much as i hated her being there, she was in true need of all the antibiotics they pumped into her lil body.  She is my baby...and I say that with a grin because she will turn 21 in Oct!!! But seeing her on that bed, with a pic line all i could see what my sweet baby girl...ya know?  But she is good and living and enjoying life! and if she is happy, I'm happy.  We still continue to pray everyday for a cure for CF, but for now, I take what God will give me! So please don't drop her from your prayers, her and all the children suffering from this horrible horrible disease!:(
Krystal...well she is crocheting! like a mad women...if you haven't checked out her blog, do so, she is making beanies! lol too cute and perfect for the coming winter season...she is feeling better also. She is still sore from the accident and now under the care of a chiropractor trying to get her back/neck pain under control.  But over all she is good!
I...well...I am STILL trying to adjust to my new schedule at work! OMG, i tell you that morning sun just about burns my skin off! lol ya know, me being a night owl an all!  But I promise I'llbe back folding paper soon! LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Bad JuJu!!!

Hi!! Ive been MIA for a while...reason...my youngest has been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks! She will not be released till the 12th IF all goes as planned. She suffers from CF --CYSTIC FIBROSIS...an awful, incurable lung disease :( Lung infections became severe this past weeks and landed her at the childrens' hospital. ANDDD Krystal got rearended tonight and is now in the ER in the same hospital!! Both my girls!!! Say a lil prayer for my girls tonight! sure would appreciate it! :/  I must have really made "someone" really bad for all this bad juju!!! :/

I will keep you all posted...Thanks so much for all the sweet comments and prayers so many of you have already posted!!!   I miss you all and with God's help we will all be back on track! My poor craft room is growing cobwebs! lol

8x8 Layout "Darling" Layout...I AM ROSES DT

Hi!! I have been MIA huh? I have been so busy and believe it or not, in bed by 10pm!!! But I'll let you in on what's going on later...nowwwwwww what I want to share with you guys is my latest project for the I Am Roses Design Team.  I made this great 8x8 layout. The paper I used is from DCWV, I love this stack!!!  and of course I LOVE these flowers! They make everything look complete don't you think???

I AM ROSES SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hi friends!  Is everything settling down from the Independence Day celebrations? We sure did have fun, just watching the grandbaby get excited over fireworks made the evening!!  So now that is all behind us, are you ready for a challenge?  We were challenged to design a project..anything...a card, a layout, a mini album cover, using a sketch provided by our leader Arlene! Just a Few Friends, STARS & STRIPES

Hello friends!!! Ready to Celebrate Independence Day??? I am so ready not only to celebrate and enjoy the company of family and friends, but to honor those who have fought and those who are still fighting for our Freedom. May God Bless them all and keep them safe today and always...and I'm so happy to have a friend over to spend the day with us.  We are gonna make a few cards, eat and maybe go catch the fireworks later that evening! What are you all going to do?? I hope one thing on your list will be to prowl around all the Dens along with us, Just a Few Friends. We have grown!! We now have 5 new cubs in the Den who are now ready to show you their creations. We hope that what we have created will inspire you to take lots of pictures this holiday and scrap them on your spare time!! (wink wink) ...Our mini hop starts here with me...so lets me show you what I created...a Layout! using solid cardstock, no designer paper here! I did use a floral stamp to make my stripes and hand cut my stars, since our theme was STARS&STRIPES! I used lots of I am Roses and recollections petals and the bling completes my project! I hope you like it! Can't wait to take that one special picture that will fill in the now empty photo mat. Watch the video HERE, there are lots more pictures for you to view... ok here goes...
