Back from the Beach!!

Well, we're back from our little trip to Galveston. Sorry I haven't blogged much lately. I hope to get back into the swing of all things blogger here pretty soon. I'm gonna do a couple posts with pictures and stories, from our trip in the next couple of days, so stayed tuned!

Let's hear it for the boys!!! (well, Davids to be exact)

Well, it's down to the final two on American Idol! I'm pretty excited about the top two! It's David Archuleta and David Cook. I've been pretty sure it was gonna be these two, in the end, for a while, and I can't wait for the finale!! My personal favorite is David Archuleta, (and not because I think he's cute... sick) I think he has the best voice by miles and miles!!! David Cook may have more of a distinctive style, that a lot of people like, so that will get him votes I'm sure, but I just love David A.'s voice and I really do think he will win especially if you look at who won last year... it was Jordan Sparks and Blake Lewis in the final two. Jordan, who again had the better vocals and Blake, who was definitely edgier... and who won? Jordan Sparks. So I really do think David A. will win. I can't say for sure, you never know.

That's my opinion, but I'm going to make a poll over on the side so that you all may have input. I've been wanting to make a poll for a while now and thought this would be a good one to do! So have at it!!

Happy Birthday, Mom!!!

Well, there have been lots of birthdays lately and today is my mom's turn! I just wanted to do a little blog about her, since that's apparently what we bloggers do. I'm so thankful for my mom and the example she has been in my life. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, smart, strong and inspiring mom to have. She has been through a lot of tough stuff, but she's always there when I need her. I could go on and on about my mom and there wouldn't be enough adjectives to explain how wonderful I think she is. I know that sounds corny, but it's true.

World's worst commenter!

That's me! Well, fellow bloggers I don't have any exciting things to blog about... and in my nothing exciting happening-ness, I have come to realize something, I am the World's worst commenter! So, I would just like to take this blog to apologize for my horrible commenting manners, or lack there of. It's not that my comments are rude or anything, it's that I have a hard time commenting on blogs at all. Not because I don't like people, believe me. I think it's more that the majority of bloggers I know are "grown-ups" which is not a bad thing at all. I just always feel like "grown-ups" will think it's weird that I'm commenting on their blogs. I don't know why because I love the feeling I get when I see the "comment needs to moderated" button on my home page. My heart fills with excitement and expectancy to see what someone has said to me! I guess if someone comments on my blog I should feel comfortable commenting on theirs, but it's just my personality to worry and wonder what people will think about me, I guess we all do, I just think I'm just an extreme case. Anyway, I will try to do better, unless you do think it's weird, then I won't.... just let me know I'm being ridiculous and maybe I'll feel better about commenting... maybe...
