Short summary of 2011 for myself :)

January - May

Year 2 Semester 2. Days were spent mostly with SCAMP'11 meetings, outings, plannings, etc etc. And of course, more mugging. NUS was like my second home back then.

June

Execution of SCAMP'11. It was beyond awesome. Thanks to my commies and of cause all seniors and scampers. New friendships forged and memories were created. :)

July

Attended commencement of some seniors. Feels good to be graduating I thought to myself. My time is coming in a year's time. Followed by 2 weeks of reservist back in MWC. Time pass by slowly without my usual army gang. :( But well, I survived it and earn some SAF bucks ^^

Attended SOW'11 as a crasher due to my commitment level. I would say SOW'11 is another project well done. New ideas, new ways of execution. Thumbs up for SOW'11 Comm. :)

August - December

Many friends flew away for SEP. Went to the airport more than 5 times in a month. :/ But time flies, they are coming back soon ^^ Year 3 Semester 1. It was quite a relaxed semester as I've no projects on hand finally. All my time was spent mugging and mugging to pull my pathetic CAP. And I did. :) Some stuff begun and ended all during this period too. We all have to move on...

Looking back at my 2011's resolutions:

1. Improve my CAP every semester. (DID IT!)

2. Be a good VD and make SCAMP'11 a successful one. (Hopefully..)

3. Stay happy and away from negative thoughts. (YUP!)

Now, my 2012's...

Y2012 Resolutions:

1) Secure a satisfied job before graduation in July 2012

2) Be less lazy and hit the gym more often

3) Everyone to be happy and blessed

SCAMP 2011

it has been a while since I last blogged.. Oh, 3 months already. and this blog has been left with a very angsty entry on my midterm paper 4 months back. lol. but well, year2 sem2 is already over. and results are also out. i guess it's just another one year stay in NUS for me and tada - welcome to the life of a working adult. O.O

time flies. it has been 9 months since i took up the position of SCAMP'11 vice director. i would not say it's a smooth sailing journey throughout these few months, especially towards the end. but i'm really touched ttm at the end of the project when i see friendships being forged and everyone having scamp withdrawal symptoms. :)

and my awesome scampcomm11. i may have said this many times to them but i still want to say it again here. lol. i'm really proud of all of you! from strangers, we have become friends who can laugh at each other. one of my goals when i form the comm is to create bonds among these 27 members and from the notes that they wrote to me, i'm glad i did it. thank you you people for the assurance :)

now that scamp11 is over, i will definitely miss the times we had together. as much as i hate to, we all have got to move on with life. this is life. awww. i will defn try to organize more lunches in sch and outings when the sem starts, so that we won't miss each other too much. haha. :)

lastly, thank you to all seniors and freshmen of scamp11 for being so enthu and awesome. and to my comm members, i'll really miss all of you. :)

ST3241 Mid Term

I swear this is the worst paper I have ever taken. It was not hard, but I don't know why I can solve the questions during my tutorial but during the test, I just could not write out anything on the paper. I kept recalling, but nothing came out. I panicked. And then it was time to hand up our scripts.

Looking at the number of questions left blank and the relevant marks, it would be no surprise if I am the lowest in the cohort.

This is the first time I feel like a loser. Total failure. To think I still had high expectations of the module.

Why is this happening all the time?

FUCK.

First day of school.

First day of school. 0800 lecture. Was late for 3 minutes. Happy to see all my friends in school though we did meet up during the short holidays, but still, school is fun because of these peeps around :D

Damn slack. I like school days like this. Nua in school. Never step into the mugging place - library. Walk around and crap talks. Go clementi get KOI. How nice if school is like this everyday. Ya. Only in my dreams. :/

Something random, need to get 5 textbooks in total which amount to ~$250. How to ask from parents? Would they get a shock? Hahaha.

FOP Chalet 2011

FOP Chalet was awesomely fun! Though it's just a short 3D2N, I can feel that SCAMP comm is much more bonded than before. I'm not biased, many others felt the same way too! :D

I'm glad that I managed to HTHT with many of my comm members and understand them even better! :D

BBQ on the first night was fun, though the rain was such a bumper but nevertheless, it stopped at around 2000hrs and BBQ night commence! :D Everyone was like hungry ghost grabbing for food! Haha. After BBQ, we went star gazing at the park/beach. The girls lie down on the mat and started their choir session while the few of us were HTHTing away. Hehe. After which, we went back to shower and continue our ghost story telling session. Creepy! :x

Day 2 started off with a 25/27 comm strength MAC breakfast. :D Then we had a meeting from 1100-1300. Then was lunch and WII + Cards game in the chalet. Everyone was so high. Haha. Then was ball games at the muddy field. SCAMP comm is really sporty! :D Followed by dinner and ghost story telling session again!

The chalet ended with brunch at White Sands and I was mad tired that I felt asleep on the train from PR to BB. YAWN.

Sem 2 is starting tomorrow. Another 13 weeks of intensive mugging. After that, would be the most anticipated event of the year 2011: SCAMP'11 preparations! Can't wait :D

Cycling @ Pulau Ubin

I slept only for two hours and off I go, to PU to cycle for the first time today! Everyone expected me to be late but I wasn't! (Thanks to Koks' morning call :D)
We went breakfast at White Sands and then off we go to Changi Village to take the ferry to PU. It was a short and fast ride but we all definitely feel like going overseas! :D
Cycling at PU is definitely not like cycling at ECP. It was totally like outfield training. We conquered rocky terrains, upslopes and muddy grounds. And all under the hot sun. My butt was like totally cramped for sitting on the hard bike's seat for almost 5 hours.

Well, there was a small hiccup over at PU. Somebody took my bike after we went to the viewing tower for quite a while! To save the trouble and everything, I took another bike and rode off. Felt so guilty. :/

We stopped cycling at 4pm and went for seafood feast over there. 7 dishes + rice + drinks for $100. Reasonable price. :D

We all left PU with a tired but healthy soul. :D

P.S: Can't wait for FOP Chalet this coming Wednesday!

Bye 2010. Hello 2011!

Okay, I shall summarize my 2010 since I've been doing it since the birth of this blog.

January - April

Nothing much. Year 1 Sem 2. Learnt from my mistake in Sem 1 and mugged even harder. Result was appealing. My CAP improved tremendously. But still, there's still room for improvement, in fact A LOT MORE. Haha.

May

Went Taiwan for 2 weeks with my beloved Tazzians! :D I felt so financially abled then as I paid for the whole trip myself - 2K! It was a very fun and memorable trip! We went to a lot of places and my friends were so awesome in navigating. :D Can't wait for our Grad Trip together!

June

SCAMP 2010. My third project for Year 1. It was awesomely fun. Planning a camp might be tough and many a times, we would reach bottlenecks, but nevertheless, I know I'm not alone cause I've a team of passionate and fun SCAMP comm behind me. Kudos to SCAMP'10 Comm! I <3>

July

Union Camp 2010. Joined back UC together with my fellow peers from UC'09 (Raptors). It was great. NUSSU camps are always "ATAS". We get to sleep in hall and eat good food. Haha. And my OG - Exposed comprises of freshies of all kinds. From 1.5m short to 1.9m tall. They are really lovable! Glad that some of them are still meeting up now, but I feel damn guilty towards them as I've not joined them ever since our first outing. Oppsss...

SOw 2010. Sylvans - the house with enthusiastic seniors. Oread - the OG with superb seniors and awesome freshies. I was very lucky and fortunate to be in both them. The camp was awesome and fun. I never enjoyed a camp this much (not even when I was a freshie). Up till now, I've no idea why am I the Best Senior cause I really do feel that every SOW seniors were awesome. Everyone can just go crazy anytime, anywhere! :D I also met great people of my batch whom I would never meet if I never join SOW'10 as a senior. Glad that we're still meeting each other everyday in school or I should say in the LIBRARY. Sylvans <3!>

August

My 4th and last project in Year 1. Science Bash and Science Dinner & Dance. Maybe I should take this chance to say a BIG BIG Thank You to those whom I've "psycho" to go for both the events. I know tickets are not cheap but you guys still showed your support and turn up! Really appreciate!! :D Awsome! :D With my last project as the ending note, I went on the my second year in NUS. Time really flies.

September

Every year this time, I would feel very happy because it's my birthday month! I get to eat birthday cakes not because I want people to celebrate my birthday for me, but I really like to eat birthday cakes! Haha. And this year birthday was another awesome one after my 21st. Most of the credit should go to my SOW OGs, Oread & Alread for the touching Video and awesome Scrapbook. I could totally feel the love my friends have for Roy. Haha. Thanks to everyone who have a part in these again! :D

October - November

Nothing much happened in these 2 months except for intensive mugging - the burden to pull my pathetic CAP. Mugging is no longer mundane now as I've a lot of friends together with me when I mug! Thanks to Sylvans seniors and Oread freshies! They made my mugging days less boring with all those crap talks in between! :D

Decemeber

Went Genting with SCAMP'10 commies. It was a short but memorable trip! And then countdown at Marina with my Uni friends and catching the awesome 7 minutes fireworks. Year 2 Sem 1 result is also out and it really hit me hard. My honors is drifting away from me.....

Took up another project - SCAMP 2011. It shall be my last project in my university life. I shall make it an awesome one! :D

Now then 2010 is officially over, good memories shall stay and bad ones should not be remembered. Every year seems to be a lesson for me. In 2009, I learned that things don't last, everybody and everything change. In 2010.... I shall keep it to myself. Hahaha. :D

New year resolutions:
