hmm. realised that i didnt post for a week, so might as well do it now. in case i put it off even longer =(

uh, not that alot happened over the past week. except like, end of term 2.
i havent been doing much constructive stuff so far. only thing i've done is...read the chinese book for the book test! =D at least half of it la, or the author's half, so to say. the book is kinda weird, theres like a part where its from the viewpoint of the author i think, then another is about his grandmother. =/

so what have i been doing?

oh wait. but 2 days ago there was this thing called the .22 revolver comp. right?
got owned. quite badly.
duno la, maybe its just me, but i feel that not practising with the real gun (or at least something more similar to it, not like some air pistol without recoil) makes for alot of leeway for mistakes. tio owned like some dog in round 1, got what 1 max score point only? >.< panicked cos wasnt too familiar with the 1st pressure 2nd pressure thing (sorry la, one year nvr do already), then also remembered got time limit of 20 seconds, which is like 2.5sec to shoot one bullet. so kinda screwed up la.
NRA target(2nd and 3rd round) was ok though. think got the hang of it more after one round of screwing up =X
si liao la. score? 94/200. uh, but before you start to comment, you should know that there ARE other ppl from our school who did worse...nvm.

blame it on the damn gun then. =)

havent started on most of the holiday homework. like that die la, sure left like 1.5 weeks chiong all, zzz. what to do, thats me.

very sian, even though its like the last week of term 2 and all the tests are over already, the flow of stuff hasnt really ceased. hopefully it will (at least substantially) tomorrow, when our book club discussion comes to a close.
oh damn, still have ss social documentary to do? how about all the holiday homework and stuff? .22 competition? kolam ayer CIP?

though its the last week of school and its supposed to be like "whoa left abit only chiong arh!!!", that isnt really the case for me. for me, the more it feels like slack time (is coming), the more slack i get, even though its not time to be slack yet. =(

back to events
last saturday - open house. was helping out in biology, which is kind of a "failure" so to speak, especially when you see that the hip and cool and exciting and exhilarating chem demonstrations are happening right next to us. basically, chem demos > bio demos. esp. when we have next to no "demos" to even speak of, so we're owned pretty much.

some plant tissue culture thing, according to a certain wei xiang from duno what class. supposed to only take 1 each (be it visitors or us helpers), but looking at how many SPARES we had at the end of like our shift (we had more than half of our supplies left), i felt that there was nothing wrong with taking like...3? XD 2 duckweed and 1 marigold, hehex.

after that went to visit npcc booth for awhile. basically UG booths during open house are like dam sad one, cos its like most people will want to go and look at the academic depts, esp. the sciences. so the UG booths are quite fei, so to speak. zannen...

monday was vesak day so i spent the day degeneratively slacking at home. not bad...

tuesday. nothing much, except had range practice for .22 comp at rjc shooting range. a random pic of it, just for fun, since a pic post hardly comes by on my blog =)



today, there was supposed to be inter UG muster parade. but then heard that raymond chan was in new zealand and so parade was cancelled. it meant that we wasted time preparing and effort in bringing our uniform, but whatever. not like wearing the uniform makes it any more worth. well actually it does, slightly, but its even better to be able to not wear, and save ourselves from potential pumpings from certain teacher officers or CIs, due to our substandard uniform standards =) (sounds wrong...)

oh dam. and i screwed up alot of my ccts. basket la, not like i didnt study. especially physics, but nvm...the sun will only get brighter after a long bout of bad weather, rightt? hope so ba.

yea, so thats about it. hope to post again soon, which is very possible, since slack time is on the way. =D

the last lesson..

as usual i like to start with ccts, so here goes.
chi cct was alright. didnt finish conclusion for baozhang but thats not a major issue. main paper...last 2 compre passages were difficult to understand and some mark allocations for questions were totally screwed. changwen suoduan...i'll rather not talk about it. you can never tell whether you'll screw it up or not.

today had physics. it was last lesson with yanndao. >< so sad...he's seriously like a dam good teacher, i wouldnt believe it myself that he wasnt a real teacher, if he didnt say he was a NIE trainee or something. and...i guess his singing was good. oh i should probably say that he performed some kind of a "concert" for us, as his farewell gift of sorts, in case people go "har" or something like that.

"The Last Lesson"...we'll miss him. hope he finds success in his future endeavours =)
when a good teacher is leaving, we feel it. and find that hey, so many things we havent done.

oh ya, and i signed up for NPCC .22 revolver comp. =D hope it goes well.

aint so pleased with some ppl for their screwed up attitude. they dont give a damn about lying through their teeth or whatever, they just want to meet their goals, by hook or by crook. thats just disgusting, and a pathetic way to do things. its tempting yes, but its a no-no way to do things, seriously. if you want to do something, at least dont do it at the expense of your own conscience, but i guess those people dont really have one to talk about. not that i can do much about it though, but pity them.

yesterday's training got quite screwed at the end. sec1s were supposed to have a boot polishing lecture/session. but some of them, for god knows why, polished the table instead of their boot. meaning the table became black as kiwi
(not the fruit -.-, its a shoe polish). and mr koh wanted us to clean it, but the sec1s still did it anyway, thanks to daniel. but we got told off by him quite badly after that. no wonder ncc is quite....yea u wanna know ask me personally.

today may be the last of the ccts for this term (for most ppl), but its definitely not over yet. still got tons and tons of crap waiting for us to do.

MVSC(Marvel vs Capcom) is a nice game.
when you're pwning almost every single other person there is that is.
damit. im sure lost to samson sia. ulti button suddenly cmi, then like playing manual mode liddat. grr.
almost lost to daniel also >< but then suddenly game got error/exited or something, =D
lolx to anyone reading who also plays mvsc, play venom and wolverinee. venoms a godlike blocker, and wolverine is manoeuvre king. used it to pwn most ppl, including the likes of halim, shingbo, guowei and lincoln alike. funn worx
only regret would be that i've somehow neglected the sec1s during uniform lecture =( but then they didnt really seem unsure, or rather wanted to ask me anything, so what can i do..
oh and i got my ssg rank hehex. kind of unexpected, seeing as...nvm im not complaining.

been procrastinating for most of today, even though its a public holiday which im supposed to make full (constructive) use of, by right. well at least i made clear the topic of osmoregulation and stuff. our bio teacher didnt teach it too clearly, it seems. =( but campbell and reece saves the day anyway.

next week got dam alot of stuff due again...chi and bio cct (this time chi need mug. compo stuff zz), eng showcase portfolio, and some other stuff. think theres eng book club discussion also, but heck that. i've READ the book, apparently. by flipping through it relatively fast and finishing it within a couple of hours =X
dont really like this kind of life. whole day got things due one. puts a lot of pressure on people.

got to finish the jap speech contest essay by tonight. sensei wants it by tomorrow...
