CCT week

CCT week kind of officially ended today. since today was the last cct.
chem was easy enough, and I belive I can get a high score for it.
phy...screwed up first qn of section B, but seeing that I got 2 bonus marks, i shouldnt be THAT bad off. hoping for a 4.0...no matter how high/low. need to save my 2.8 on the APR badly ><

yesterday had chem lesson. a certain teacher was being dam lame again, calling a mixture of lightstick chemicals and stuff "kryptonite" (superman's achilles' heel i believe), and pretending to be "weakened" by the beaker of chemical, albeit in a dam spastic way. sometimes i even wonder how he even got to become a teacher. guess its just his true nature revealing itself ><
to add on, hes (the chem tchr) actually not that bad. as in, he does know his stuff. just have some major problem getting it through in normal classes, where he likes to act like some...clown? but he appears to be more serious during times like remedial, etc. so, you really cant judge a book by his cover...until you've read it and analysed it and realised its hidden meaning.

alot of super interesting expts also happened during chem. such as one combining the lightstick chemical with some other thing, causing some massive reaction forming tons of green luminous foamy crap to pour out like free onto the tray below. holy sht, its quite sick but cool at the same time. =X
but jiaxuan kena-ed some of the green stuff on his shirt. thanks to....ok not trying to offend anyone here, but you really shouldnt be so like..playful or what la. did get you into a bit of trouble there right.

had UNSW (science) after that, which wasnt much to talk about. but somehow i feel quite confident of my performance this time. hopefully get a distinction =)
silat wasnt so great though. started at 5 due to UNSW ending late, and the instructors also did stretching/breathing exercise for dam long la. >< however we also learned some malay taichi-like thing? seems really cool when you can really hype up the speed and do it like a pro. but i doubt we'll ever be able to get to that kind of stage, or even close by the end of the silat course...=(

hai. its 11pm now, but i've hardly started on my jap speech contest essay of 600-800 words. gg...but i have thought of a rather nice topic...友達の意義とプラスとマイナス hehe. go phantom what it means yourself, or ask me if you're really that interested to know =) its been something that i've wanted to express for a really long time, and its great that i can express it through this. well i might post it up just for fun, lol.

oh ya thursday is Labour Day. GREAT. no 3rd lang worx. not that i hate 3rd lang, but the homework is like pretty much the most unbearable of all the subjects, and its hard to follow the lesson since im not the most skilled in jap, sadly.

o.O ya tmr got np training again! yea i always look forward to trainings, even if others dont. giving a uniform lecture tmr, which should be fun. =)

so thats all for now, bye.

spammed.

damn, i've been neglecting this blog for awhile again.
whatever. its MY blog anyway. updated at will =)

and i realise that when i finally do update, alot of things i want to say slip through my mind. wait, what was i going to say? =p
ok, so anyway...

yesterday got a free period, as i went for squash support, so i wasnt selected to go for the prize giving ceremony. =D thought of going home at 12+, but realised that i'd probably sleep/random on the com looking at yugioh stuff >< i decided to hit the library instead. and lucky it wasnt like our normal free periods where half the class is using the computer to look at totally non-work stuff almost 100% of the time (well, that is when there isnt any librarian/teacher walking by la. otherwise you'll see some wikipedia article there). bloxorz anyone?
so i was saying, mugged for like 2hours on chem with kiat hong. actually he wasnt exactly mugging with me, he was rather reading his book throughout the 2hours, but whatever.
this is what a free period should be like man. constructive and positive work done. of course i dont mind gaming or anything if its not near a test period or anything la. just that scared caught only lol =X

oh ya, musnt forget about the ccts from last week. maths was easy and im hoping to get like a 90% at least. SS...i really dont want to talk about it, seeing as i MIGHT have intepreted the most most most important keyword wrongly, i could have screwed it up even worse than the OBA. sian.

and theres a whole lot of work coming up also.
a detailed insight into the near future...
projects due:
-english biography
-book club discussion (though i already read the book. that is if you, like me, define reading as flipping/skimming through the book quickly and noting down some of the key ideas)
-SS social documentary

tests:
-week 7: maths TA, chem cct, phy cct.
-week 8: bio cct, chi mid-year exam (which includes compo and ying yong wen which is real great)

i dont know how anyone can survive this kind of thing la...but then miracles always happen. just like how some sps got a yellow PTM form for being smart-aleck in front of the god =/
fear the god's wrath.
lol random.

heard that our um, temporarily "new" physics teacher mr wong yann, aka yanndao (abit ironic though) would be leaving us at the end of week 8.
awww...
ok serious here. he's really not bad for a teacher in training i suppose? i mean, he sure did a much better job than ours first "replacement" mr lim aka mr big specs, whose nick i coined . as for the second, mr teng aka superman (our class calls him this but he doesnt really mind. he seems to like superman dam alot anyway), im not so sure about him but i dont really get some of the concepts that he explains. so ya, after comparing and contrasting i think that yanndao is the best so far. =D
lol and he also gave us his msn email blog whatever today. can you imagine the whole class spamming his msn hehe. 31 convos worx.

hmm, the stuff that i've said should be enough to fill my dear reader's brain up for the day, yes? if not fill it up with this sentence that you're reading and wasting your time with, =D

ok to end off, heres some random food for thought:

Everyone is close to falling off the cliff of death. It's just when and how you fall.

feel dam sian.

next week is cct week.
again.
damit.

its like we just had so many ccts only end of last term, and so soon we're going at it again.
how long can people stand this.
maths cct is starting the ball rolling on monday, but till now i havent started mugging yet.
as in, really.
i feel dam tired/unmotivated/exhausted/sian, that i dont want to even touch the worksheet. though i'll probably fail like some dog if i continue with that.

and btw, for some unbeknownst reason, im feeling DAM FRIGGIN SLEEPY this year. every night (mostly weekdays') from 9 onwards I'll feel like "woah just lie abit la". then lie abit, feel dam shuang, den lie some more.
and what happens?
i fall asleep.
gg to the day's work/projects/whatever
this wont do la.

look at the gpa for my APR1
holy crap.
er, 3.4?
im screwed. going to be anyway, by my parents. anything below 3.6 is >.<
actually APR1 is probably the most screwed up/inaccurate APR of all la. due to the fact that only like 1/2 assignments are counted for the GPA, it means that you can either get dam high (cos u tyco-edly aced one of them) or get dam low (cos u tyco-edly flunked one of them). which is EXTREMELY inaccurate and not a true measure of your real standard/abilities, imho. although this could probably be similarly argued for any other APR, but whatever.

well, a small comfort could be that i at least signed up to be assistant IC for the home creation CIP thing. which is...not bad.
but NP training next week is dumb. monday no training due to rugby finals, although i will probably spend the afternoon at home since my class wasnt (forcefully) selected to go down, and weds is silat. silat is erm kinda sian. normal training more fun. if you think otherwise i dont care, u can go away though =)

come on, buck up man! must get 3.6 gpa for APR2 (at least)..............yes.
wont probably be posting much for the next week, due to well, CCT. sorry la, time and tide wait for no man. that was kinda random.
oh no and i have the stupid eng book club discussion havent do yet. i mean, reading the book. thats nice...

update

since this place has been neglected for a whole week, i figured its about time to do another post. so there you go.

the week has been pretty taxing/tiring, with about 3 tests and 2 major assignments to be done with, thus im feeling kind of exhausted (mentally)at the end of it all. only thing i can think of to do that is motivating/interesting enough is playing yugioh with my brother....=///

now lets see...watched dam alot of tv shows this weekend, like death note 1 which just finished. actually i already have the DVD of both death note 1 and 2, but whatever. anyway its a dam great movie, the two main characters pitting their wits and skill and cunning and whatever against each other is just dam jing cai (exciting).

and also, the drama serial on channel 8 "just in Singapore" ended on Friday...its actually a pretty nice drama, not the super cliche and same plot all the way kind of dramas, but one with a nice twist to it. the ending is abit abrupt though, but i suppose its due to the fact that there are so many endings to um, end, so they couldnt really afford all that time. haha and no uber cliche endings as well. at least for the most part. which is gooooood.

hai. just got wind that theres a PT retest for ssgt tmr...i'll probably die, since i just went to the gym on saturday (as i didnt know of the retest then yet) and now im still feeling like strain in my legs. ggxxyyzz although even without it i doubt i can hit 11.20 for a 2.4km run at all la. compared to the 12.20+ timing from the last time, 1 minute difference is like....taking a walk in the park. NOT.
so there. goodbye ssgt rank. =((((((((

this coming week has 2 normal trainings of NP. which is great i suppose. not that silat sucks, but i've grown pretty much used to having constant real NP trainings or something. and weds is promotion retest FOR SEC3s. and i'll likely be taking it, so it should prove to be more fun. i hope.

for now i cant think of other stuff to talk about, so i'll leave things till another time.
till then, people...
