just came back from sec1 npcc orientation camp

be warned that it could reach up to 1000+ words. however, definitely well worth the read, better than any of ur imba novels =D

kk here goes....*gasp*

reach sch, slacking in junior block classroom for like 15mins then sec1s arrived. zao out take attendance, bla bla. WA, 17ppl nia. like, wt*? their total no. 28+ sia...same thing, sec1s kena screwed for lagging during bag check (take out/put back stuff within 10secs). suppose tone setting was impt. nth much else here, except tt we found some nice contrabands: a ladybird cushion and a pillow XD

then got pt. dunnid all the sec3s to go, so zao to bag classroom instead. lol then ppl were ramming board games / card games/ com games. so join in, played a game of risk.dam sad, play halfway needed to zao for SMO. hai. oh ya. SMO kena owned again =X

SMO come back, lunch time le. just in time to meet my grp, and teach them field cooking. oops, forgot to mention, my fellow ics were jie liang and shude, fyi. ya ya, all the usual stuff, u either know or dont, and if u dont there isnt any pt in telling you anyway.
p.s. yak jun xiang's brother came to np this year XD. in my grp somemore lolx. yak jun lun hahax. he abit ap though, abit de unwilling to talk liddat =X i think yak xiao di would be a nice name for him =)
yea then we screwed them after lunch for the nice mess tins whee.
also owned them by koping their flags, which they were supposed to protect till their death or sth XD sad

now would be cheers. but as im station games I/C, needed to gather all and zao to get stuff.
now, this is the part where it starts getting bad.
firstly, i forgot a bag of logistics in the bag classroom. would have screwed one game because of it sia...then my games ppl are dam pro. only know how to blame me why so slow, etc etc....then nvr help to set up ppl's stations. wt*. ppl like thomas and kenneth, blame blame blame, then what were they doing? playing gameboy ds/rubik's cube. can blame ppl somemore. screw la.

almost got owned. finally got everything together at um, 3.10 instead of the original 2.45 =(
sian. ppl dont really like the station games. but what do they expect....station games are station games what. if they were that freaking fun, it wouldnt be station games le la. and i one person think. next time if i do this again, must consult everyone for opinions. i realise some ics (eg: nelson/han yuan) modified their game relatively well. see what multiple minds can do?

then it wasnt much. dinner...and shude zaoed for stupid ndp prac =.="""
dinner...they clogged up a sink, and lost 3 out of 4 flags wohoo too imba already. uber owned la. din see it though, was eating dinner at tt time hai...

war games was...unfortunately, kind of screwed. we already outnumbered the sec1s with like 20+:17 wth. then still got some uber base tt they din find till dam late. and i wasted my time stoning at the base with yak >.< could have zaoed down pwning 9424715 sec1s lor.
oh then samson came, and i decided to zao. then we saw some nice sec1 base at the JB-raja linkway, so we called yi sheng (sec4) from downstairs to come gang. easy sia...yi sheng was distracting him, then i noticed he was kiaping the flag just nice in midway. so half of it was sticking out which was like uber long. then he was looking at yi sheng opposite me, so i just reached out and took it out of the sq. gg! rofl
but we koped all 4 flags uber fast. in the end they all chionged our base eventually, with i think help from yiwen and lincoln >< koped our flag they did but we got it back again in the end lolx.
then it started getting more screwed. they were rounding up this bunch of sec1s into the base in front of raffles bust, then was screwing them bad by asking them to do chao lame stuff. if u were wondering who was asking them to do, it was thomas, kenneth and co. chao lame.
and of course we won. lolx, diaoz but it was like the game wasnt even challenging or like, made everyone feel actively involved at all. hai. jie liang tl.

oh then at like 11+, ho neville came! haha so nice. then he had some uh, postcards to give out to all of us, sth of a message b4 he left. its really quite heartening to hear these words of encouragement coming from him =D

FIRE DRILL (w00t)
yay i was dam glad i volunteered to go for fire drill instead of sleeping off early. it was dam worth it man, the experience. no sarcasm whatsoever, seriously.
we (meaning guowei me joel seah) rounded up like 5 sec1s and brought them to gym 2nd floor. wohoo. and of course they got major screwed (ok its considered relatively ok le la...total 25pushups nia la) by me n daniel mainly lol (also cos weixiang wanted to stone =.= ). when we say screw the juniors, its like, preaching values to them, and interrogating them. yea tts basically what screwing (mass) means.
p.s. the sec1s really dam pro during drill. saw one guy sitting in tent stoning for like 10seconds after most of the ppl zaoed. IMBA. its like, wa fire still can sit in tent enjoy wind or what. wth. and got one guy zao back take his shoe cos we purposely swapped some shoes to create confusion. uh, ppl care more abt shoe den their lives in a fire. dam guai.
then HO neville sent ppl to come retrieve their grp mates. so we went to watch them getting screwed by him =X (lol yea neville did come haha). hm. nah IS quite scary when he wants to be...and the sec1s probably got dam shocked, getting scolded and pressurised until liddat. but i think it was useful, changed their attitude for the better on the next day (lol actually its later on in the day. fire drill was at 1am ma =P)
zz. fire drill ended at like 2am. slept at 2.30am, cos it was difficult adapting to slping with poncho on classroom floor. cold ma, trying to find nice position to keep warm. meaning that i slept like 3.5hrs today (rmb its AM)....imba siaz.

next day (oops i meant when morning came) quickly go chiong bath after wake up. the night no time bath ma, anw too tired already also. so chionged bath/change. freak and i missed breakfast imba. but made up for it during some nice break during the hike.
hike was um, ok. grp 1 and 2 merged, meaning me, jie liang, wayne and gwei were leading the 2 grps. alasdair and han yuan wanted to tag along, so there u go. 6 sec3s leading 7sec1s. lolx abit the too much le...nvm.
zz then it had to freaking rain at like 9? LOL then all the sec3s except me forgot to bring poncho. chao smart. in the end got one time all 6 of us chionged under my poncho lolx. but the rain wasnt really so big, so most of the time it was only 2/3 ppl under the poncho hahax. the sec1s procured those lame plastic disposable raincoats for all of them though. zzz.
and we walked some more, bla bla bla, rain ended at maybe 10+. walk to elias mall, rammed lunch, then go pasir ris park.

wa it was like some chaotic. ppl running everywhere, go there le bo chap, dunno what to do. den the stations there all lame lame de. got one play basketball, one noob maze game, etc. all abit well, diaoz.

after that we returned to sch by taking 88. nice sia, 88 took 1.5hr to reach RI. so got dam nice time to slp, yays. nice rest time sia.

dinner. yay was watching over them with junsheng till wayne came back to screw them for noodle strands / 2 koped flags =/ actually, quite surprised tt we were all (most of us anw) so relunctant to dish out pushups. prolly not because of the rule tt we need to do also la, since its not hard to do 30 at one go anw. lolx. too soft le =(

hmm last activity. campfire. sian screwed la, some cheers like stone liddat, then tuck wai mc abit...kk u know what ma. no nid say. dont think it ended very nicely...

2. got a chance to work with other squadmates (eg: jie liang and wayne mainly)
we've got to work with each other sooner or later in this year or the next anw. so might as well start now and build up good relationships =)

3. learnt how to uh, "preach" and actually saw ourselves in the current sec1s
preaching is impt as it tells the sec1s what we are trying to achieve for them
we cant really blame them for what they're doing now. after all, that has happened to us before when we were in their position b4.


hmm. i definitely learnt alot from this camp. being a senior, the experiences learnt is very different. in fact, i think i've taken a liking to helping juniors n stuff. i think my decision to go for an nco post has been further strengthened =/ when u are feeling for something, it is just different. u dont think abt things like cca points or such. u do it because, u really want to make a difference.

firstly, my english social advocacy proposal is screwed. only one solution, and none of my grp members want to send me any solutions, though i asked them to by today. wtf. its like, wtf cant u just spend like 15 f*king minutes searching/thinking for one solution. if u tell me u dont have 15mins of ur life to spend, go to hell.
fine i'll solo and i'll say that ur did nothing, except like 20%? then ur'll will get -50% or sth. ur deserved it. want to slack, this is what you get. im afraid i dont pardon slackers till this extent.

second, just now i message the bloody leonard. i dunno whats wrong with him. he kep saying guailan stuff like "hi im lee kuan yew how come my surname is goh isnt it ironic" wtf? i suspected it was his bro but even so it was dam f*king irritating. then he said sth like want to compete bad lang or what. freaking hell i curse you gpa fail. attitude problem. runs in the family probably. just like that slack attitude.

yesterday was abit of a crisis unfolded
my mother turned the iron temp to MAX
then my father wanted to starch my uniform....
and he din noe the temp was bloody max
so when the iron came into contact with the uniform...........
BANG. the part there MELTED. kid you not. one patch melted, and tio stuck onto the iron. so the iron got one nice black patch of funny rough stuff. (hmm reminds me of some black goo in spiderman3 leh). anw the pt is, my uniform got bloody screwed. i wore it only twice so far know. what an early death sia.
gg sia. quickly chiong move the formation sign velcro onto old uniform, and also buttons, badges n all.
now u must keep in mind that at that time, it was already 12. >.< so i slept at 1 that night omg. anw i believe i was dam lucky to have kept my old uniform, and tt i din outgrow it =) hengz, now i will nvr throw away anything old but not unuseable le. they will always serve a purpose for u sometime, somehow, some way. seriously.

WA, 32/40. chao lan. and i got full for bonus somemore. means my real qns only got 27/40 wth. dam dam dam lousy. joylim say got alot of mugging work, so i mug all the addictives / vitamins like some siao. then in the end total no. of marks for the qns on these topics hardly 10. wth la. nice one. well, maybe my hardcore fact mugging just sucks =X
then also got PE retest today. wa i thought just normal PE for most, cos no pt retest so early ma. but then tio.....and raymond chan say if first station cannot pass, then dunnid try others. >< and first was pullups. some nice.
then some nice thing happened too. i realised that i had bloody failed my 2.4 all cos of that stupid chest pain tt came at like my 5th lap. then gg walk for 2 laps, tio 15:35 walao. need 14:40 then can pass cos i 15yrs old. hai. confirm can pass de la...but now my leg pain...then i scared skarly tio chest pain again or sth =(

then second part was SUPPOSED to be normal lesson, but got some japan embassy person come give talk abt japan lifestyle n stuff, so zao auditorium. lol dam funny, alot of the presentation was about "kawaii". basically it meant cute in the past, but now jap ppl started using it for meanings like interesting, cool, etc. kinda like how we manipulate eng words to have all these guailan meanings isnt it =D
thought it would end at 5 (as the sensei had emailed us) de. and we all wanted to zao at 4.30 with the reason "got sth on". but turned out it ended at 4.40 lol. so just stayed till the end anyway.

weds (today). got back phy quiz wa. 8/10 zzz. not too good. wanted 9 de. the stupid violet vs orange light is dam lame la. infraRED waves right. above visible light ma. so red light wavelength highest. then got ultraVIOLET rays. so violet closet, means violet light wavlength lowest =.= wth la. im sure liddat de. sianz then my wave drawing abit screwy, forgot to continue all the shown initial waves so tio minus 1 haiz. but i suppose 8 is still decent ba =/

after RE got inter house maths quiz. wa dam hard sia. but actually, alot alot of them are basically just finding cool patterns. of course these patterns might be learnt at jc level or higher, but right now its just doing a bit of tikam and hopefully u'll bingo the correct formula. left 9/25 qns blank omg...30 marks out of 80 gone le omgz. gg lor, probably will fail >< sian zao 15mins earlier sia, cos i scared got parade and dunwan tio late.
THEN U NOE WHAT HAPPENED. wa there was no freaking parade. when i changed into uniform and came out of toliet i saw the squad coming back for water break, saying no parade le. turns out cos too few ppl came, sec2s all had some malaysian montage briefing thing, sec1s not involved in parade de, and sec3s hardly half attendance >.< sec4s already had a parade so this one was just for the rest of the unit. and since can only give to like 15ppl wth, they decided to postpone it. W.T.H. waste a good 15mins to pwn for maths quiz sia. walao eh. later morrison tio own sia, we got like only one RA in our batch who was so enthu for band tt he absolutely refused to come....freak.

tuesday. screwed up ss and jap, said earlier too.
weds. phy quiz screwed wave drawing.
thurs (today). lost my maths assign, chionged it in 5mins after sch wth. bio test also lost some marks cos i got jacked. din think medicine thingy need noe so many details. whole qn gone. wohoo. napfa 2.4, 5th lap tt time chest pain, gg for 2 laps cos i walked thru. tio nice timing of 15:38 =X my timing was 7.38 at 5th lap start sia....dam shit. hai but gonna retake whole napfa anw....
btw, if u dont have sth consoling to say, then just shut the shit up la. no need ur "wa" and suanings. tyvm.

based on the evidence given above, i can conclude that this week is an extremely unlucky one for me. so i really hope tt tmr yew dun dun dun give back maths test, or i just might gg it. and i might tio screwed during training too. pfft.

monday had npcc day. came to sch at 6.30....imba. changed le den realise half the squad all come freaking late, walao. and can u guess how shitty it is to see almost the whole squad having at least LCP rank when u, who is supposedly a CPL, doesnt even have one rank? wth. i dunno whats wrong with them, cant they just hold a muster parade and get over with it once and for all. bloody shit. next time they dun give, i just chiong army market buy suan le. dun wait for them liao.
then morn assembly got chao lot of prize presentations, every1 could sit except us >.< dam nice lor, stand there soaking up the sun, in senang diri =)))
it ended dam late so no time to even chiong change. then philo was 3rd period, dennis au came suaning me on why i was wearing watch with uniform >.< zzz since he know np rules so well, i can conclude tt he was from npcc in sec sch. yea.

oh ya. and some bloody noob passed a cough to me. so now i tio flu + cough. whee. imbaz.

today: flu + cough day 2. dam freaking shit. and had ss test, WTH none of the societies came out at all shit them la waste my time. dam nice sia.
and i screwed it up. for my 3rd factor right, i put this:
"idea of utopia itself gt problem" when i was thinking about this, i knew it confirm cmi. but i couldnt think of anything else, so i had to put this in. hope janus slack enuf to count it as a valid point...?
then got jap test immo after that. then got one point my cough acted up again, cough alot at one go. maybe sensei hum or what, offer me a ricola sweet. lol =D
but screwed this up too. got one grammar item i din bother to mug cos tot not impt, but turn out got this 2nd alt. form for the verb which was given as one of the choices in the test, so din noe, thus gg. revision quiz paper also nvr mug all, for the same reasons above. in the end mugged 2/5 revision quizes, 3 qns came out all from the other 3 which i din mug. think -10+ marks le, no 80% for this test.... ggxx. tio double kill. feel like slapping myself. sheesh.

tmr is phy quiz, den bio cct on thurs. bio im gonna mug alot alot, since joylim told us exactly what to mug (she's nvr wrong man), so wouldnt go wrong following her. just spam all those info den hopefully can own the bio cct. didnt get back maths cct sia, yew lag, but seems like most of her other classes got it back le. sianz.

OMG. all the big guys squashed him, eg wayne. but i think an shing was at the bottom of it all, somehow o.O poor thing. wrong victim sia, lolx. then neville decided to be bad, and taopoked shuli. lol then he tio-ed as well. and someone even koped his shoe, then the dog took off with it. but he returned the shoe in the end. lolx.

hai. thinking about it makes me sad already =( true he was a sadist, but i know all of us would miss him nevertheless. those screw-ups he gave us, i believe they were bittersweet. those drill sessions where he gave us screwed up treatment (like stuffing a rock in ur unclenched fist) was just pure imba. but i believe that neville will be the best HO rinpcc ever has for a long time to come. we'll miss you, yeah.
P.S. neville says there wont be a new HO anytime soon. haiz. not fun sia.

then there was this chi drama performance put up by ri / rjc at 7.45. lol me and shu de tio late by like 5mins, lucky got 2 seats at the corner, otherwise dunno how =/
anyway, the show ROCKED. i mean like seriously. its dam dam nice.
ri's one was first. about "regret", 忏悔， how ppl want to "mortgage" their things in life (such as friendship, fame, etc.) in order to get their heart's desire (like friends, filial piety, etc.). and the people all had nice stories to tell..... one thing is that the visual effects maybe abit fei. lol den got one part dam funny, talk halfway then suddenly one computer screen came out. "virus scan - scanning for viruses" ROFLMAO
then got think rjc's one? dont care whose la, as long as its nice. anyway it was 转让, meaning "turn over" or sth. this nub guy built some shop in some nub place where the business totally sucks. then got news report, say want use tt land to build new facilities or sth. so he tot he would grow rich, cos can sell the land for uber price. then when got one deal ALMOST done, evening news report said the plan to build facilities was cancelled. gg for the man, so sad =(
final performance. chao long one, 大富翁. the plot is abit luan though. first got this guy want end his life or sth, then his supposed girlfriend come and save him. then gf father give the main guy money to do buisness or wat. then the guy did some small buisness, got quite gd at first de, then suddenly he realised he koped a business deal from the gf's father. so the father dam pissed, and the guy was quite frustrated. then it got worse. the gf complained tt the guy spent too much time on work and neglected her, so want break up. never rains but pours doesnt it.
so the guy was dam 烦, and he went overseas for a holiday or sth. met this other girl, who give him cigarettes to get him hooked. then she brought him to some funny temple with a funny monk who, speaks french (wth...). think maybe he dun really noe french, just fake de, i dunno. anyway then the guy went back, realise company tio burnt down by a fire, so he got dam screwed. and he realised he got addicted to the special cigarettes. then got alot of small details which i wont talk abt cos ur will confirm sian diao.
so anw, the mastermind was his secretary i think. anyway in the end the guy almost wanted to rmk a suicide, but then got some guai ending with 2 ppl coming out saying haha i win the game i control u and once u die win yay. yea, sth like that. lol.
overall i think it was dam nice la. all the performances. quite enriching i suppose, and a good experience. maybe i consider taking part in CDC when i go rjc =), lolx. but i really dun like memorising 312925678 pages of script, can die one sia. well, my point is that......chinese drama rocks! haha =D

and today was my very first flag day. np made it compulsory, sian. and we were allocated to novena, so we took mrt there.....when reached, shu de said he left his tin behind at bishan mrt (the seats there). =.="".......zzz so he zao back himself while we go start.
it was freaking sian. ppl were camping in front of us, so half the ppl who wanted to donate already had a sticker pasted on them le..... and the other end? some bo liao place, hardly anyone would come in from there de. but me and junsheng spammed the bus stop / taxi stand. lolx.
anyway, some strategies i learnt from doing this flag day:
1. ka chiao those ppl sitting at the bus stop. most of them would give de.
2. spam ppl coming out from buses, abt half would give.
3. DONT let ppl camp in front of the crowd waves. otherwise they would kope diao alot alot alot of ur potential "customers". zzz, sian got like 6 ppl in front of us wth la.
at the end of the day my tin wasnt even half full >.< sian then wayne told everyone to go eat at KFC, so yeah, eat away! =P

ok, after a long long post, this is almost the end. next wk got 3 tests, hope i pwn them. lol. byee.

he did 3 and i uh, did 5. XD not that samson slacked though, just tt jianxiong needed somemore games since 6 din seem to be tt sufficient. and i HAD time, so i thought maybe i'd just do the 2 more...lol =/

Game set-up
Each magnet should be taped to one paper roll / stick. The paper pieces with

How-to-play
1. The group is lined up in single file.
2. One member will be sent out to try to find a scrambled message.
3. He has to guess which of the slips laid out face down on a table / floor is the one with a message on it.
4. (note: skip if correct message has already been found) If he chooses a blank paper piece, he would have to do a forfeit. The group can choose to divide the forfeit among themselves, or let the person do the forfeit himself. If the group chooses the latter, one correct message will be removed from the list available to him. Then another person will be sent out to try and find the scrambled message, and steps 2-4 will be repeated.
5. When the correct message has been found, the team will have to re-arrange the scrambled letters into a sensible sentence, thereby deciphering the message.
6. The group then has to inform the station master of their message, and the station master will check if their message is a valid one. If not, the group will have to re-decipher the message until they get a valid one.
7. Upon confirmation of the message, the group is to fish out alphabets that correspond to their message from inside a pail.
8. The group sends out another member to fish out one alphabet, using a paper stick with a magnet attached to it. If he gets an invalid alphabet, the group will again have to do a forfeit. The same rules of completing the forfeit from rule 4 apply to this. This continues until all needed alphabets are fished out.
9. The game is completed when the word is formed using the alphabets, and the station master has verified that it is correct.

Rules
All other members not involved in the main activity would have to remain in push-up position. They can only recover from push-up position when trying to decipher the scrambled message.
Forfeit of 30 push-ups / 40 sit-ups is recommended (to allow ease of division).
Examples of scrambled messages: “THIS FISH IS RED”; and the list of alphabets might be “HTSI SHIF SI EDR”
Each time the group member chooses a blank slip, the station master must re-arrange the order of the slips before the new member can be allowed to choose.
The station master should only remove correct messages until one last correct message is left behind.
As far as possible, all members should go at least once, and the order should be rotated if repeats are necessary.
Invalid alphabets that are fished out should be placed back into the pail, and not left lying around.
Only one alphabet can be fished out at every try. The person fishing for an alphabet should be changed every time a new attempt is required.
