maths test

maths test was siao. graph was dam crazy....1/3 of the questions looked dam screwed. eg: how to prove a certain straight line always has a root to the cubic graph? say i rotate the line around on its y-intercept, and i see that it always has a root? thats real lame wat >.< nvm i got about 5/6marks gone so i gg =(

anyway, today jap was cool. had lots of fun jacking ppl using 29th feb. credits to pathy for the idea =)

me: "eh, did u know that 29th feb no jap lesson? got some special programme thing"
1. chong yu: "har really? why no one tell me" - lolx
2. wenjie: "oh? how come? you sure ah?" - rofl
3. yee siang: *takes out calendar to check* - ROFLMAO (dunno why the hell he go check for dotz, but nvm it was good laughing material)

if ur wondering why this is a joke, think la; got such thing as 29 feb meh? haha the clause after 29th feb is meant to distract ppl de =)))

and ca2 is postponed. dam good. term2 week1 one test only ma, so no prob mugging for it. but crap la, lets look at the current (not final) list of things to do for the march holidays:

1. NCO camp (10-12Mar)
2. (possible) dota comp. 10 mar
3. mug jap ca2
4. read some chinese book (WTH)
5. ERP (WTH)
6. jap project work (yes, u did not read wrongly, there is project work for 3rd lang =) )

gg again. and term2 week2 also got physics test. zzz im still dam unsure abt alot of concepts in light =( must go and understand them somehow. today personal narrative, screwed up. got qns 1,3 and 8 (impt fren, childhood event and standing up) . all dam screwed, had to write qn1, but my story will be very sian and uninteresting, so will score low marks one, gg. and this thurs still got bio test. today mug quite alot le, go thru notes and my own notes (sounds weird right but nvm). anyway, realised that if play right on the day b4 the test, test confirm gg, so i not gonna risk that anymore. hope can do ok for bio test....

chinese cct.

today we had chinese cct. wa zong he tian kong was quite hard, got 3 i dam unsure of the answer. tian xie han zi also screwed up, so easy still get 2 wrong (i totally forgot abt qie qie - i go write some crap word instead, then i din noe wat man han meant so i write crap word for tt as well >.<) ok.....so tt sucked. and most of the class had to rush (i mean really RUSH) compre. guess why? because a teacher walked in at like 2.40, telling us the paper was 1hour. so we thought alot of time, 45 more mins ma, and only left like half of zong he and compre. so do slow slow......den at 3, the same teacher come back say "sorry sorry the paper 45mins ur just do faster la ok" WTH. make ppl waste time do slow slow den now come say no extra time. i'll be happy if i get above 50 (though tt means an 80% if i get >52).

tmr got maths cct. AND personal narrative. lucky i asked quah how to "show instead of state". otherwise go figure it out myself....wa. will die. maths just do prac can le. cos if those qns u can do right, means u can rmb the theories (formulas, whatever). provided tt u dont look at ur notes when u doin the practices of course. hope can get 4.0 for maths test wish me luck =)

rifle drills

sorry couldnt post yesterday cos too tired le, go home eat dinner le den just sleep =P
anyway, yesterday we did rifle drills (whee). first time actually learn drills (last time only learn postures n stuff), so quite shiok. learnt how to do the basic drills, but also got this drill where u hold rifle in one hand and have the fronsight (or watever name that part is) resting on ur shoulder, so the rifle is between ur shoulder and arm.......can picture right? ok. but we cant "transfer" the rifle (meaning just lifting it up), we must "flick" the gun (like throw upwards liddat) then catch, lol. luckily got the hang of it after like 5mins. btw, the rifle is fake la (as in its not a real weapon, just a model), so the trigger is actually stuck (lol want fake fire also cant =( )

wa, havent started mugging much yet sia. and next week got 3 tests.....maths chi and bio. chi on mon, maths tues, and bio thurs. quite nice schedule, as even though bio got 2 days, tues got 2rd lang and weds got training. so about equates to one day ba. though since bio is prolly the hardest to mug, maybe i'll pon training or sth =) have to see the situation la ok?

must go to mug le. im finishing up my bio notes (i just answer all the learner outcomes, since joylim says we are required to know those), den go practice some maths, and mug some chinese. bye.

tests

today is test spam. got back 3 tests, and alot of other things which i will elaborate later. bio and jap. din do tt well for bio, real sad. thats why im chionging bio notes now (ok maybe not now, later) so that can do well for the cct. jap ah....quite pleased, although im quite sure the test wasnt hard. 39.5/45 (at first got 40.5 de, but got one marking error den i go report - honest hor? =) ) , but mao got 38.5 =_=" zzz got pwn but nvr own. haiz.

then we got back ALOT of chi compos today.... all screwed la, esp. the zuo wen (others were gong han and si han if ur wondering), so i shant talk about them. then also return chi book test, this one best. 48/50 MAN! WHOO lol. however call of the wild book is dam easy, so got ppl who generally lousier also get like 40+.

now comes the screwed part. we were asked to write one letter to our parents or sth, whatever u wanna say to them (rant, thank, WHATEVER). then teacher suddenly say, must rewrite nicely, then show to parent, THEN ask parent to write one letter back to YOU (or in this case me), then give to teacher to see and sign. WHAT. THE. HELL. the whole world says its chao lame la.....nobody does this kind of things one lor, it'll be so screwed. imagine asking ur parents to write one letter to u (which is already screwed) because ur chinese teacher wanted so >.<
dam pro. gg liao. maybe i can just heck care and pray she'll cancel this piece of crap.

dry practice

today we had dry practice. ponned 2nd part of RE for it.......whee. quite fun ba.......but i tio some kinda er, bruise / abrasion? i dunno how the heck i got it, seriously. maybe use same part of finger press against gun dam hard but trigger nvr move so in the end my finger tio lol. pain sia.....den now put plaster for fun =)

anyway.....i was scanning blogs since im kinda free now. i realised that alot of people actually link their friends PURE english blog. i mean, whats the point of linking such a blog la, who would want to read a blog review, and even worse, a blog that has 2 entries every term? smart >.<

today i was thinking. next year do what RE? then i thought, service learning ba? since it could chalk up cca service points and i nvr actually try anything close to service learning before so maybe could try it. lol then i had this idea to do chinese project again.....BUT IN SERVICE LEARNING? LOL.......best go do like pri sch mentoring in chinese subject, confirm win liao, lolx. but then i also not sure about how to go about doing this stuff......like if u go to the pri sch during ur RE period, who say they free to learn from you? they probably having normal lessons themselves then ur RE schedule is gonna be so messed up right =_=" also dunno how to chiong back to RI in time for cca if the RE periods are in this kind of times.....

wa scary. tmr get back bio test. i get above 20 i dam happy liao. dunno if its hard or what.....nvr really asked any frens abt general standard, and a teacher's words are nvr too reliable, seeing as its.....nvm, shant elaborate.

yay. finished my 2 english blog article reviews yesterday. i feel that the rubrics werent that challenging, as long as you look through it, edit your reiew according to what they want you to have, then you shld be fine. hope i get above 15 ba =)

theres hardly any new progress in my ss project. didnt discuss anything yet.....other than the few ideas, if u could call it, that we came up with, however it is definitely nothing compared to the amount of work we have to put in after that......and ss project is due week 10. week 9 is siao week with 3 tests and a personal narrative essay, so if i dont get this project somewhere by week 8 weekend (which is THIS weekend), gg. and i mean really gg. a rushed project wont be a good one, i assure u.

these 2 days i din do much. just stone at home, finish up jap and maths hw, play abit of dota, and stone some more. dam sian la......and tmr got dry practice, mr teo was supposed to tell us the details this week but apparently, due to the lack of new emails up till even today, he has forgotten about it >.< hope tmr dont get lost or something......not like i want to miss dry practice. supposedly going to tanglin police div or sth......dunno if its same as the last time we went, cannot remember le. nvm shld have some way to go home de, wont tio lost LOL.

CNY

Happy Chinese New Year to all! lol maybe this message is abit late......nvm.

yesterday went to visit all my grandparents n stuff.
first went to paternal side. lol go there recieve hong bao, greet elders, answer their many qns (now u study wat grade liao? what age le? results got get first?), ya stuff like that. then there was the CNY celebration show or something (whatever u call it), so we watched it for like, 2 hours? the show was ok la. not chao interesting but not chao sian either. that was the main of what we did there, haha.

then we went to maternal side. same lor, do mostly same stuff but we ate lunch AND dinner there. lol stay dam long sia. den got this game on my cousin's com called diner dash. diao its quite lame, ur some waiter den go arnd serving the customers and stuff. so of course, i din play it. den his com no fun games one, except roller coaster tycoon 3 which he nvr found the cd so cannot play >.<

then after that go home la. count the hongbao money.......510 dollars sia. btw, its not all for me only, got my brother and sister's share also. lol.....170 each ba? den realised got the money for my father and mother in there also. so in the end we dunno how much each person got......lol smart lor.

today played one round of bnet. i realised omniknight can be dam pro. hehe i going to ram alot of omniknight from now on......

ss project is somehow tough. in the sense that it requires you to uh, think alot. u have to think of the problems societies face now, how to get rid of them to the best, so tt u can achieve utopia which is maximum =))))). of course, utopia is like a perfect society, but obviously u cant create such a society, so u only can make the society as good as you can......in any case improve on the faults of today's society as much as possible la.

argh and i still have to do my english article reviews on the blog. i realised tt if i use newspaper articles, i'll hav to scan them and post on the blog (btw im not using this blog for tt purpose, im using livejournal for tt), wont it be like, uber small? no one can read la....unless when u click theres an enlarged picture so u can read........haiz. i'll go ask around and see if theres a way to this. bye for now.

new year.

today was chinese new year celebration. had lots of performances put up by all the houses.......quite funny la. alot of sing song thingy, hullett one most funny, spam one word all the way de. lol....... however morrison was last place, wth! sian.

what to do now......nothing to play. dota is gone (at least so far), then only can play some sub-standard online games. not much com games worth playing for long time.....alot just sian diao.
and i realised that finding cheats for games suck alot. firstly, u'll tend to spam the cheats so much that u'll do it in every single game/scenario, making the game dam dumb, cos u dont have to do anything but will still win. then wats the point of the game. only when u really gain profit or do something in the game by playing it proficiently, then u get a kick or feel some satisfaction.

this weekend (or rather new year holiday) have to do alot of stuff. go visit grandmother /grandfather, do at least one article review, and maybe start abit of mugging. lucky this year the notes quite ok. chinese is best, got nice one page summary of the lesson, dam imba. maths.....just study ws lor, maybe i compile one notes for the theories or summat. bio just study my notebook can le, lucky i decided to keep one for bio =) hope i can do well for the 3 tests.

Hi to all, this is my first post on my blog. I have finally come to use blogger. lol. as i have realised, livejournal has many disadvantages.
1. you cant make its layout look as nice as you want.
2. you cant link your friends, only friends who also use livejournal (which are very few)
3. blogger is more popular than livejournal (lol lame reason right)

in any case, i am definitely using blogger now. from now on i shall post here and leave my livejournal to rot =(. poor livejournal.

one thing to note though. while i was fiddling with the blog template and trying to get a nice blogskin for my blog, i realised that the stupid thing kept popping up errors in the code. wth right. then samson told me i had to revert to the classic template first, enabling the old blogger template which will not screw my blogskin code >< smart lor me. by the way, he also found this out by RANDOM CHANCE. aha. im not the only well, stupid one, so to speak.

this week we decided on our RE topic: creating a manual to help students in all areas of chinese essay-writing, ranging from writing techniques (story plotting, etc.), to commonly wrongly written words, to idom usages, and many more. hopefully we will make something really cool out of this and maybe get a RE medal or something =)

tomorrow is CNY celebrations. dunno if i should go back to maris stella or not.......sian. to make things worse we have a philo test right after the celebrations, which is like so ironic >< celebrate CNY with a philo test. wow. great.

i realised that i have alot of work to catch up with. heres the list i can think of:
1.ERP (due term 2 week1)
2.English blog article review (due week 9 of this term)
3.3 tests (bio, chi, math) in week 9 (dam gg for this one)
4.Personal narrative essay (ok this is abit lame right, counting it as a "homework", but i feel that preparation is something we should have for this kind of thing)

so this means i'll be forced to be busy. sian. right after CNY.
