Can WANT comes after NEED?

Felt so helpless sometimes on financial wise.
I know I should be contented of what I have compare to other kids that don't even own basic stuff.
Sometimes it really does make me question, why am I always in this poverty status when I need some help?
Why when I have those additional money to spend on something that I want, turned into the urge to spend something that I need?
Although NEED always comes before WANT, but can WANT comes before NEED for once? Or Occasionally?
I know it doesn't make any sense, ignore my rambling babbling =S

Our "1st" Valentines Day

As I promised, I will blog about our "1st" Valentines Day  =)
It is our "first" Valentines is because this is technically our first time celebrating the V-day together!
Baby booked a Suite at Sydney Shangri-La Hotel on Valentines Day to give me a surprise. He did all the decoration which actually touched me the most.
I just touch down Sydney airport on that day as I was on my vacation at Melbie for 3 weeks. I was supposed to meet him at Circular Quay's Starbucks, but die the the late check-in, he needs the time for the room decor, hence he sent me the address of the hotel and ask me to drag my superb heavy luggage and super large valentine's card all the way to the hotel. I didn't know it was the hotel as he only send me the street name and I needa look on my GPS and follow the route. That time I was thinking, "Damn! Can't he meet me up and help me carry all these stupid luggage?"
When I arrived at the hotel, I'm like "OMG, really?" But since is Valentines Day, I reckon I should enjoy like a princess on what he had planned. =) Meet him up at the lobby, he bring me up to level 31, room 13. When I opened the door, these is what I saw.... I'll let the pictures to do most of the sayings.

The first rose that I saw when I opened the door...
Counting those roses. Heart melts...

Candles with love, counting the roses...

Finally this big heart shape made out of rose petals. Love it!
Spot my two cute little Valentines Presents and card?

He said the TV actually shows our name when he first turned it on. Too bad I missed it!

Roses on bed

Very large bathroom

More roses

Love the brand that they use for suite

This is the view from our room

Absolutely breathtaking!

My 18 roses representing 18 months together

Pressie from Him

Yah, as usual, I will receive additional side free gifts from Pandora as well.. LOL!
This time is the umbrella and bracelet opener key chain.

Present to Him.
Hahha, I'm kinda lame right?
Just joking, I already got him a special mechanical keyboard and shipped it back before Valentines Day, so I reckon I will make some Oreo Truffles so at least he get something on that day itself. Hehe..
p/s: He love the Oreo Truffles that I made, I don't even get to eat one -.-

Reading my super big Valentines Card that I got him from Melbie.
I literally got attacked by 3 elderly women when I was waiting at the bench for my aunt with this card.
They were like "oh, this is such a cute card...! What does it says inside?"... "hope he likes this cute card".. LOL!

Still reading my "essay".
Love my 270 degrees view!

Went down for complementary Hi-Tea
Even the food they provide suit the Valentine's theme!
Absolutely scrumptious

Us with the Sydney view

We went down second round for pre-dinner appetizer.
Another very delicious complimentary food provided.
We were eligible for unlimited Hi-Tea and drinks throughout the whole day, and free alcohol after 5pm if I'm not mistaken. Too bad I don't drink :/

Heading out for dinner! Not really exciting place... Chinatown
LOL! Well, since me bf is non Asian, to him eating at a High-End Chinese restaurant is like eating at a High-End fine dining restaurant such as France cuisine, which can be equally romantic as well
:S

Ya, my romantic dinner =D
I feel bad for all the money that he spent on me, so I offered to shout this meal, though the meal is kinda not worth the money as it cost a lot with only a steam fish with rice, and a bottle of Chinese Wine which he said taste like petrol!
-.-''
(hopefully this would teach him a lesson never to order Chinese wine)

Night view from our room. I hate myself for not owning a proper camera when it comes to this have-to-snap-a-shot scenery for memories.

I seriously missed the room and the breathtaking 270 degrees view.
Call me crazy, but to me it actually worth the price of what he'd paid.
He paid $550, but got a free upgrade to this Suite and the receptionist just randomly give it to him and we're just lucky to get it!
According to the bellboy, he said room 13 has the best view in the entire hotel.

Room service for supper to end our night

I only have few bites to try, all his!

Ya, he can't sleep without supper -.-

Very good BACONS!!!!

We ordered waffle at first but the kitchen don't have it. So we ordered kids meal burger instead, but they upgrade it to the normal size just for apologies on not having waffles! Super great customer service!

Ate some of the salad, but I don't normally eat before I sleep.

Just had a cup of chamomile tea for myself

I was totaly awe when I first opened my eyes the next morning.
The most peaceful morning with this very stunning scenery of sunrise, accomplished by the Sydney Opera House and the sea view. It was like a morning in heaven...

Breakie time - buffet breakfast

Continental Breakfast

Hot Breakfast

I was overwhelmed with all those expensive surprises and gifts. I don't expect all these for Valentine's Day, just a simple meal and spending time together is what matters to me. But I appreciate everything on what he did to make me feel special on that day, and it will be only once in a lifetime.

I love him more and more each other day
