2009's ending in a few hours time! As usual, here's my closing entry for 2009! 2009 has been a fruitful year! =) #1: Friendship w/TOBYS! It feels like I got to know all them all over again. Never been so close to them other than exchanging a few words with each other during gathering sessions. After some time, I drifted apart because I hardly go for gathering sessions anymore given the hectic earn-money-to-support-myself-and-my-braces life. I'm thankful that we managed to fetch and patch back this friendship amongst us. Thinking back, we were really crazy la! Met up almost every single day till the wee hours, yet still arranged for breakfast dates early in the morning! Hereby I really wish let you guys know that I really enjoyed the company and I'm really sorry that you guys are always the victims of my PMS-ness! =x #2: Goodbye Braces! I remembered counting down to 12th January 2009. On that faithful day, I removed my braces! =) After 22 long painful months! Slogged like a cow during those 22 months to earn my braces funds, meals & transportation funds too. But at the end of the day, it seems to me that those "sufferings" have paid off! And I really agree that if there's one thing that I will never ever regret in my life, it has got to be the braces! #3: SMU Admission GOD! It was tough! I made a stubborn mistake to insist of taking 6 modules. This caused myself so much misery and my grades suffered too! Tough transition period..coping with school work, learnt about time management. On top of that, I had to try to adapt to the SMU teaching style, with many presentations/group work. It was especially challenging for me given my character. SMU forced me out of my comfort zone, totally. Never liked being alone but somehow I was left with no choice but to learn to be more independent. Also, I had to work with many different people...all kinds of irritating/weird people. It's kind of interesting knowing people with all kinds of character (at the end of the day, after you've tolerated all their nonsense). *Moral of the story: It's not about what you know, but who you know. #4: My 21st (read as: TwenTEEN-1st) -Refer to fb album info- =x In short.. I had a blessed Birthday! Thankyou, Thankyou and more Thankyou to all of you! =) - post ends abruptly here! :p - I'm starting to have phobia for end of the year period (1-2 days b4 1st jan). last yr, one of my jiemei's sis got into an accident. this yr, another jiemei's mum got admitted into hospital. and its precisely cos we're close & know each others family members in person that i'm oso feeling worried for them. hais. woooo. why can dream be so extreme?i had nice dream every night since x'mas eve. just ytd..i dreamt abt dirty toilet bowl & a red shirt women in the mirror of a bus?! There were oso nice portions in the dream but i dun rmb how these scenes linked up tgt. weird. pathetic last few days of my hols..yet there are still so many tings undone. haven met up with ppl i wanna meet. haven been to places i wanna go. some plans nvr happened. gonna go back to the "no-life" days. those are gonna be left hanging till the next holiday :( Monday, December 28, 2009

This morning, i woke up to find another postcard on my table! Its ABNNNNN from Zurichhhh! =)I love suprises and i hav cultivated this habit of flipping thru e stack of letters in hope to find postcards now! =) I've been roaming round Singapore enjoying life. As of now, i found 2 nice places to hangout in future whenever i'm stressed. (1) Playground with Swing. (2) Peaceful Beach. Randomly: If that was an action to seek for an answer..i've found mine. how abt u? =) Coincidentally , 38 reminded abt the porridge & instant noodle night. Looked back and laughssss at the silly past. Glad that all's well! =) |
