It was so much fun being home for Halloween! Tyson flew into town after interviewing at a few places for residencies right after the ward trunk or treat and just in time for Halloween day. We had a blast going to my mom's ward trunk or treat with her! She even dressed up too!
Now onto the costumes! Since marrying Tyson I have come to love Halloween. He has taught me to think outside the box for most of our costumes AND that HOMEMADE COSTUMES ARE THE BEST. :) I really want to put together a post of all our previous costumes from when we first were married. There are some pretty great ones! So this year we didn't do a family theme like we've done each year since Tyson and I got hitched. I was a bit bummed about this and had some amazing ideas for us. But since we are home and didn't go to many parties and since Tyson was only home for Halloween day, we didn't do an entire family theme. But of course last minute I decided that I could at least join in on the fun and let's be honest I couldn't resist!
I made these costumes pretty fast since we had some other difficulties with our original costume plans. Owen chose to be Peter Pan and I planned Graham's costume as a Lost Boy accordingly. It was super easy to make their costumes and cost me about 30 bucks TOTAL. And I love how they turned out!
^^^It was such a treat to have one of my best friends from High School, Whitney, join us for trick or treating and chili.^^^
^^^Cutest witch and Peter Pan duo around!^^^
Happy Halloween!!!!
