Owen's Family Birthday Party

It was so special to spend Owen's birthday with both sides of the family. Owen is one loved and lucky little boy. The Sunday after his birthday, the Tidwell clan got together to celebrate little Owen. We had tacos (his favorite!) for dinner, a yummy homemade birthday cake, and some cupcakes to celebrate. Owen got to run around with all of his cousins and his favorite part was when everyone sang to him. During the song, he looked over at me with the biggest grin on his face and his little eyes were teary. Such a sweet moment I will never forget and always cherish. He kept telling me that all he wanted for his birthday was to be sang to. Love him so much.

Christmas Day 2012

Christmas was magical (excuse my cheesiness!) But really it was just perfect. We had a white Christmas and were able to spend it with both sides of our family. It couldn't have been better. The boys were at such a fun age to surprise and it was so fun to see their sweet little faces when they saw their gifts.

 The boys were spoiled rotten by cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents and of course us! But you are only little once and the magic that comes with Christmas is priceless. :)

We spent Christmas Eve with my side of the family down in Orem. My aunt is going to send me some pictures from our fun night of dinner, acting out the nativity, and games.

We went back up to Salt Lake to spend Christmas day at the Tidwell house. We opened gifts with my in laws and then the rest of the family came over for yummy food, opening more gifts, and to just spend some quality time together. We loved every minute of it.

For Owen's birthday we spent the day with family and close friends. First we went with my family to the Dinosaur Museum down in Thanksgiving Point. Owen was in Heaven! He loved learning about the fossils and seeing the huge dinosaurs that towered above us. He also loved digging in the sand for fossils and brushing them off with his paint brush. But his favorite part was digging in the water AND sand for miniature dinosaur toys. It was any little boy's dream. :)

After the museum we headed over to a little diner to have some yummy burgers and shakes.

We rushed home for naps and after a long 3 hour nap for the new 3 year old :) we ventured out in the snow to meet some my close friend Kate and her cute family to go sledding!

It was Owen's second time or so and he loved it yet again. This boy could live outside! It was Graham's first time and although he loved it, he didn't last very long before he became freezing.

After sledding we headed with our friends to Cafe Rio for some yummy food! Thank you Pettits for celebrating with us!

We ended the night opening presents.

It was such a fun day and Owen loved it. He was so happy and especially so happy that it was finally his birthday (instead of his brothers) and that he was turning THREE. He sure is a big boy now!
