Another late post. Our sweet baby boy turned 10 months almost a month ago. I can't even think about him turning one year old without my eyes welling up. Call me crazy, but this year FLEW by and I am sad that my baby is almost one. I guess that means I will need another one soon. ;)
My sweet baby Graham is one special little boy. I absolutely love watching him throughout the day. I love watching his big eyes get even bigger when he finds something he likes. Or the way his upper body bounces up and down when music is on, or when he eats something that is really yummy. I love how he looks away after taking a bite of something so yummy or drinking a little bit of daddy's powerade. I love how he waves his arms in the air to sign that he is "all done." Our Graham is beginning to be quite opinionated. When Owen is taking something from him or bugging him or doing what older brothers do best, Graham will let it be known by screaming, or giving Owen the biggest sour face he can muster up. It's pretty hilarious. He will also throw a little tantrum when we tell him something is off limits. He will throw his little belly on the ground and whine a little, get up, crawl a few steps, and do it again. We can't help but laugh. It's just so cute and he is also our SECOND child. Things like this are funny now, we don't stress the little stuff as much anymore.
Graham is still so chill and laid back. I love it. It's a little refreshing when his older brother is the opposite. :) Graham is happy to explore and be on his own. He is as happy as can be and loves to do anything his older brother is doing. Owen is getting better at letting him into his play zone and it makes my heart so happy when they get along.
We still call Graham "baby Thunder" and you can see why in the picture below. I still laugh out loud every time I see this.
Graham is a daddy's boy. He LOVES Tyson and cries when he leaves. Owen rarely does this and it's so sweet to see how much he loves his daddy. Not to mention a little refreshing, since Owen is so so attached to me.
The dishwasher. Every baby's favorite place. Graham loves to "help" me do the dishes by taking all of them out and then climbing on top of the door. You can also see how Owen makes the silverware basket the garage for his cars. Silly boys.
"The baby squat" My all time favorite.
Graham was "Kevin" from the movie "UP." He wasn't feeling the best that day but was still a great sport and look extremely adorable.
One of the best things about having babies with all of my friends is that Graham has many baby friends to play with. He is playing with Rayna below and boy do they love crawling after this ball. Its so cute to watch him start interacting. And he is finally not trying to suck on her hair anymore!
Graham, once again, being a great sport by letting his older brother play "doctor."
Graham is such a funny baby. He loves to get stuck under the chairs and then move them around the floor. He cracks me up all the time.
He just melts my heart. That smile! Oh how I love him so much. He makes me so happy and makes our family feel even more complete.
Graham loves to read and will sit on my lap and cuddle as we read his favorite books. He will sit up to 30 minutes with me and I love every single second.
Just look at his hair! That boy has had at least 3 hair cuts and he still has enough hair to go around. We get compliments on it daily. His hair has a ton of wave and curl to it. I wonder if it will be curly like his daddys.
I cherish this little baby with all my heart. He helps me be more patient and loving and makes me so proud. I fall more in love with him every day.
Ear tube surgery day. He was a champ! All the nurses were dying over him. Just how calm he was and happy! Happy after not being able to eat for 6 hours and for having to sit still in a surgery center. He did great that day too but struggled for a few days after. We are just so glad he won't be getting any more ear infections. I really wish my children could just get tubes in their ears the minute they're born!
He continues to make his "kissy face" as we call it and it's the best thing ever. Please stay little baby Graham!
Graham's stats:
21 pounds
31 inches long
95% head circumference
4 teeth - 2 upper and 2 lower
Loves almost all food!
Takes two one and a half hour naps and sleeps 12 hours at night
Still nurses about 5 times a day and I think if he had it his way he'd continue to nurse until he goes to kindergarten.
Wears 12 months clothing and size 4 diapers.
Loves his silky blanket (this is a new thing!)
Walks along furniture and crawls like a pro
Can sign "more" and "all done" and sometimes "drink"
Can wave bye and hi and working on clapping
Thinks shaking his head no is the funniest thing ever
Laughs at things falling down the stairs or when people get hurt (must be a Tidwell)
Loves to chase balls around. He reminds me of a puppy dog a lot.
We love you Baby Graham and don't you ever forget it.
