Today Jazzy came up to me and said, "Mommy, I wanna have a business". My first thought was to say, "No, you can't... maybe when you are older". Then I thought.... what have I been teaching my girls. I have been constantly telling them, "You can do anything".  Jaeda tends to say... "I can't". I look at her and tell her, "NO, say I CAN do it". She will say it all cheery and usually overcomes any challenge .... weather it is climbing down off her chair OR pulling her sock on, lol. So after some thought I told Jazmin I would help her. I told her we need to come up with a plan of what she wants to sell and what she is going to save her money for. I explained to her about tithing and that not only should we save up for things for ourselves but also for others! She was more than willing. So here is our first meeting to come up with a business plan. :) I am loving this!
Mommy: Okay Jazmin what do you want to sell for your business?Jazmin: Ummmm, I don't know.... like that camera that's not working.Mommy: We don't sell broken things. Jazmin: Then what can we sell, like a box?Mommy: Okay, lets think of what your are good at doing, ok? What are you good at doing?Jazmin: Ummmmm, when I give toys to others that makes them happy because I am sharing.Mommy: So you want to sell your toys?Jazmin: Just one box.Mommy: Okay, well what about your art work? What about your drawings you could sell those.Jazmin: Ok, but what about cameras for me?Mommy: What do you mean?Jazmin: I want to have a camera like yours?Mommy: What do you want to do with the camera?Jazmin: I want to take pictures and put them on my website and people will look at them and want to buy them.Mommy: Okay, Jazmin SO for your business you want to sell one box of toys, art work and photographs.Jazmin: YEP!Mommy: What are you going to earn your money for?Jazmin: For a big purse to put all my stuff in and a little purse for Jaeda.Mommy: What about tithing?Jazmin: Tithing, YES!Mommy: Okay sounds like a plan! What is the name of your company?Jazmin: Um, I don't know.Mommy: Well you need a name...Jazmin: Ok, my name. It will be Jazmin AshleyMommy: Are you excited?Jazmin: mmmhmmmMommy: What are you most excited about?Jazmin: MY website!Mommy: What colors do you want for your website?Jazmin: Yellow, green and white :)

{SWISS} days...

Every year in Midway, Ut.....the town stands still for swiss days!!! It is a weekend event and there are TONS of cool booths to go through and lots of really good food!! My Mom and brother were in the parade this year!!! Jazmin and Jaeda had a blast and LOVED the parade!!!

{LAS} freaking {VEGAS}...

So... in moving to Utah... I have been traveling a lot. I am mainly going to CA for work. I usually fly but this time I decided to drive so that I could bring back some more of my things that are in Ca. I booked a $20 hotel room in Vegas. Not knowing Vegas very well.... I booked a room in North Las Vegas which is apparently the worse of the two evils. I just wanted a cheapo room because it was just me and I didn't really care.

Well I pull up to my hotel and "gulp" hold my breath. I figure if I can make it into the hotel without getting robbed, raped or murdered.... I'd be good! I had to go into this GHETTO parking garage and carry my luggage down three flights of stairs because the elevator didn't work. In the rush.... to avoid the creepers I tripped and lost hold of my luggage and watched it tumble down all the stairs. SO if there were any creepers looking for a helpless girl....HERE I was. I made it in! PHEW! I got my key and held my breath walking down the hall. I felt like I was in a horror movie. All the bottoms of the doors were beat up and the paint was all faded... like someone was trying to get in. I open my door and it wasn't any better..... I had an door linking me to the other room....creepy! After I bolted that I went into the restroom to find LARGE muddy boot prints all over my floor and in the tub! SO I called the front desk and she told me to leave the room and they would clean it. UM, there was NO way I was going to wander the halls! She admitted their mistake and sent me to their "SUITE" (picture below).

I got escorted there by a large scary man and locked the door the second I got in there! As I am settling in I notice....someones Togo box full of food on my table and the trash can full of trash. I immediately think.... OMG they put me in someones room! I call again and she says NOPE apparently it just wasn't cleaned all the way. SO after calling my parents... and them FREAKING out... I check out of the hotel. On my way out she actually gives me a business card...and then to top things off I get propositioned by a prostitute! WTH!

It was a long night .... I checked into Circus Circus which was alright! I went for a stroll to get something to eat and lost track of time in Ross. When I left.... the parking lot was empty...EXCEPT for one creepy old man that followed me for about 3 blocks making "MOANING" noises at me! WTH!

YEP, I am playing major catch up on my blog. Life just doesn't stand still for anyone!!! This was in August on a nice sunny day..... we got HAIL!!! My girls started screaming, "IT'S CHRISTMAS"!!! Poor lil CA girls! LOL
