Blueberry Crisp and Pocket Silhouettes!

On Tuesday night I had my lovely ladies round for crafty antics!!!!! We made 3 cards with sets that have been in catalogue for a long time and I have either never used or not used for a while!!

I also made myself use colours from the Regals family as I don't tend to use these at all!!!

This one is Pocket Silhouettes with Blueberry Crisp papers, which I hadnt broken out of the packet!!!! I know a couple of my customers love these papers but it was the first time I had used them!!!!! We stamped in Not Quite Navy and Sahara Sand

Of course a bit of decorating inside the card was in order!!

Right I am off to play! I had a lovely box of goodies come yesterday with pre-order items from the new Mini Catalogue!! I cannot show you until 1st April but it will be worth waiting for!!!

Dont forget I have just 2 places left on my new Stampers 6 club starting on 25th April, see details at the top of my blog!

Christmas Placecards

I was feeling a bit fed up last night as I am still a bit poorly so I cheered myself up by making these placecards for our christmas dinner!!! As my tree is quite funky and bright this year I wanted to make some funky placecards
Very very quick and simple using the tree from the Sparkly and Bright set and the Just Perfect alphabet. The colour combo is Pink Passion and Green Galore.

I didnt have much time to be any fancier than this but I am sure they will cheer the table up!
Yesterday I spent a lot of time on my Pocket Silhouettes stamp class instructions which are now available to purchase on my sidebar. This is a lovely little project for an easy class in an evening or over a couple of hours.

Any questions just ask
Bye for now

Pocket Silhouettes Class

EDITED TO ADD - THIS CLASS IS NOW AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE. INSTRUCTIONS ONLY - £2.50
Happy Sunday, cannot believe its only 5 days until Christmas!!! We are going to see Beauty and the Beast tonight, that my friend Anna and her girls are appearing in! Looking forward to it, makes a change to go watch other people in shows rather than being in them myself!
I wanted to thank so many of you for visiting my blog yesterday and leaving me lovely comments about my new rooms. I really am very lucky to have such a fab space now and I cannot wait to put it to proper use.
I am starting Tuesday evening classes from 12th January. At the moment these will operate every other week until I get into more of a routine then I am hoping to do them weekly. This is the first project we will be doing, a cute little box holding 4 cards using the Pocket Silhouettes set and the Bella Bleu papers.
The colour combos are Kraft, Bordering Blue and Not Quite Navy.
I am hoping to do a full tutorial on this class and offer it as a class you can purchase, watch this space for that.
Well thats all from me today, the sun is shining but it is snowing!!!

Saturdays class card

Here is one of the cards we made at my class on Saturday, it was my favourite of the 3 cards. I made this card on Thursday night and the top part was looking a bit bare. Well blow me but I went on Jenny Moors blog on Friday and Jenny had made a card in the same style but had added some grasses to the bottom. Thanks again for the idea Jenny, it really added to the card

Colour combo is Regal Rose, Rose Red, So Saffron and Old Olive. The papers are Rose Red Designer Prints and the sentiment at the bottom is from Pocket Silhouettes punched out with the Word Window punch.

I do love this style of cards, thanks to one of my downline Sarah-Jane, thanks love! I think we have all got into these cards lately!

And another angle for you!!!! Loving those butterflies
I was really cross on Saturday as I did a lovely display of all my new cards etc and I took my camera, switched it on and NO BATTERY POWER!!!!!
I want to say thanks to all the ladies who came on Saturday, hope you had a fab time. I had a little Bran Tub (or Lucky Dip) with prizes for them which I think they liked!!! Huge thanks to Lesley for doing the teas and coffees too!!!
Back tomorrow with another card from the class

Mojo Monday Challenge 73

Here is my effort for the Mojo Monday challenge. It is similar to a card I made last week with the Simply Said stamped background but I wanted to try a new colour combo. I saw a lovely card my friend Sally made using these colours (I think!!), Sage Shadow, Bashful Blue and Cameo Coral. The background is randomly stamped with Simply Said and the main image is the flower from True Friend which I coloured in with my markers. I havent used this set for ages!!!!

Sentiment is from Pocket Silhouettes set. The ribbon looks a bit naff as the legs of the brad are showing up behind it but never mind!!!

Pocket Silhouettes and Pizza!!!!

Hi guys, sorry for no card action for a couple of days. I made this next project over a week ago for a Stampin' Up! Party I did last Thursday. I was inspired by a mini Pizza Box that I saw on Jenny's blog and a lot of the American blogs.

The papers are called Tea and Crumpets and all the stamps on the card are from the Pocket Silhouettes set. A lovely little set for making notelet style cards, 4 image stamps and 2 sentiment stamps for £15.95, great value.
The butterfly on the top of the box is from the Level 2 hostess set called Cause for Celebration.
Colour combo is Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke.
I am doing this project at a class in a couple of weeks time.

Bye for now
