Wedding Card

Hello there and happy Friday to you! I’ve had such a lovely relaxing week this week with plenty of lie ins and rest and time with my boys. I have been working on things behind the scenes and have launched my Christmas Wish List for 2015.  Let me know if you would like some more information on it!

Last week my dear friend and dance partner Paul celebrated the wedding of his youngest brother. I asked him if he had a wedding card sorted (knowing he wouldn’t have) and of course he said no, and was that an offer! I asked what the theme was and he just said his sister-in-law to be like retro 70’s, orange, green and yellow so I came up with this design.
My lovely downline Sally Jo loves a good wedding card and of course the rotary stamp so I decided to use the Rotary stamp for their names and the old faithful Petite Pairs stamps for the sentiments. When in doubt a few 3D flowers always go down well and I made these from the Scallop Circle and normal circle punches.
I also added some of the Sahara Sand Lace Trim and a fair bit of inking around the edges of the card stock.
Paul was really thrilled with the card and I hope the bride and groom were too - even though he told me the wrong spelling of the bride’s name!
Today I am closing off this months Online Code Club. The thank you cards are made so if you would like a little gift in a couple of weeks please use the code as detailed below.

Here is the Online Code for October. Please use this code when shopping on my Online Store and spending between £25 and £150. If spending over £150 you will earn your own rewards.

Awesomely Artistic

Hello again. I can’t believe it’s Thursday already, how quick has this week gone?

Today I am sharing another card we made at Coffee and Card and also we made this at training the other week.
I have loved playing with this set and getting a little bit grungier, but in a controlled way, I’m not one for messy crafts! Remember if you want to re-create this card you need to do your stamping first and then do your embossing, ask me how I know that!
The brick wall embossing folder has been one of my top sellers since the catalogue went live and I just love adding it to my projects and I still have lots of ideas for it!
Hope you like this one, think it will be the last Awesomely Artistic one I share for a while!

Thanks to everyone who shopped online with me in June and used my Online Code, your free gift should now be with you! I have now opened a new code for July which is
 JPMMXZDZ
Please use this code when spending over £25 and under £150 on my Online Store.
I will be closing this order on Wednesday 29th July.

Even more Awesome Artistry

Hello there! Today I am sharing another card from the same set. These were all part of my Monthly Technique Club which I run on the last Saturday of each month. Its a small teacher led class and you get the stamp set included in the cost. My next one is 25th July and the details are on Facebook HERE or on my Classes/Events tab at the top of my blog - we are using the Watercolour Wings.

This card uses the Triple Time Stamping Technique, one which needed re-visiting as I haven’t done it for a while and it’s not as hard as you think. The hardest part is measuring and cutting the layers!
All the products are the same as yesterdays and I am really pleased with the colour combo I used! I came up with it all on my own!
Here they are all together! Which is your favourite and would you like to do a class like this? I am considering putting this together as a class in the mail with some products included and a tutorial. Please email me if you are interested. Thanks
Some of the items from the Weekly Deals have already sold out as they were in limited quantities. Watch out for more next week!

More Awesome Artistry

Good Morning to you! This is a scheduled post as something exciting is happening in the Kettlewell house today, more of that another day but I had to be up and organised so I scheduled this for you.

I saw a card last week HERE and I just loved it, thank you Lynn for an amazing design. I used Lynn’s design as a base and then added a few extra bits and bobs. I have to say I adore this card but I would do something differently next time. I embossed the card and then I stamped, I have since made others where I stamped and then embossed, this works better.
So the first step would be to stamp the flowers in Early Espresso and then stamp the ferns in Mint Macaron and then you swipe the Sahara Sand ink pad over the embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot. Then colour in the flowers with the ink pads and Blender Pens and sponge all over with the Sahara Sand ink on a sponge.
The dragonflies have been stamped by using the Marker Pens and I then I used some 2 way Glue Pen and some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter which I really love and haven’t used for an age.
Hope you like this make, it’s one of those that I cannot stop looking at!

Thanks to everyone who shopped online with me in June and used my Online Code. I have now opened a new code for July which is JPMMXZDZ
Please use this code when spending over £25 and under £150 on my Online Store.

We have some fab Weekly Deals this week, lots of new things from the catalogue and at great prices. Grab them while you can before they go back to normal price.

Awesomely Artistic

Hello there! Today I am starting to share a few cards with you with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set which we used for our Technique Club last Saturday. I think this is one of those sets that people look at and think “What would I do with that”! So...... this week I am going to share with you what you can make with it!

Here is the warm up card we made on Saturday with a colour combo of Perfect Plum, Mossy Meadow and Whisper White. The ribbon is actually Blackberry Bliss but it’s quite muted so I thought it actually matched rather well!
I am LOVING the Brick Wall embossing folder, it’s been a very popular seller this month. I embossed it and then rubbed over it with a sponge daubed with Sahara Sand ink. I love the vintage effect that gives.
I love the new little wooden embellishments, adds great texture to the card.
Hope you like this one, I will share the other 2 tomorrow and Thursday.

I have now closed the June Code Club order but will be opening another one tomorrow on 1st July. Watch out tomorrow, apparently there are to be some new items added to the Clearance Rack and also some enhanced Weekly Deals too!

Awesomely Artistic

Hello there! On Saturday 27th June I will be running a Technique Class using the Awesomely Artistic Stamp set (it’s page 125 of the new catalogue). We made this card at our Regional Training event in Telford 3 weeks ago. It’s a step away from my usual style I would say but I really love it and it totally inspired me to use this at my first Technique Class of the new catalogue. My stamp set is due for delivery today,  I will be stalking the UPS guy from about 12 noon!
The card also features another new set, One Big Meaning which is a great set with lots of different ways of saying Thank You in lots of delicious fonts! This card also uses 3 of the new colours Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe.
Before I go I thought I would share some of the gorgeous samples from the catalogue using this set.

Right today could be a momentous day for me as I attempt to make a birthday cake for my almost 16 year old boy!
