My Own Digital Camera!

I am so happy I finally got my own digital camera. I dun have to keep asking people to lend theirs to me already :D

Got it at IT fair at Suntec, just b4 Youth Camp week. Initially went with Nicholas to get UMA's Macbook Pro, Canon E-500 DSLR and external hard disk; ended up I got a camera, Nic got himself a SE W980i handphone at Singtel. Haha!

In black matt finish. It was love at first sight.

VFC Youth Camp '09: Elevate

I am sick. Down with the normal flu, much thanks to the crazily HOT weather and youth camp.

Totally love the sessions by Pastor Jude Fouquier. He is so engaging, funny and real, in all the topics spoken. Totally love the examples and true stories shared, and the session specially for the net leaders. Learnt so much more about how to be an effective and useful leader.

I enjoyed the taupok-ing on the 2 birthday girls though - Ee Ling and Liyin! They begged to be taupok-ed, so different from the boys - must be forced to the ground. Haha!

Din like the other stuff, so dun bother asking me.

Sad thing is, I officially declare on my blog that, from next year onwards, I'm so going to church camp else on my own holiday trip with my friends. No more youth camps for me. I'm a super OLD YOUTH, aka young adult.

Lastly, God is faithful and.... interesting - how he puts all sorts of weird incidents together through the entire week for me to experience. I thought I wasn't coming back to SG alive, but I still did. Haha!

SYD - KL

I finally sorted out all 1128 pics from my Sydney graduation trip, in location categories! -pat my own shoulder- I'm so good and efficient, I know. Thank you.

-edited- 1128 is after deleting away few hundreds of pics away already. Used about 15 AA batteries. Pics are in 22 different folders now. Crazy, I know.

Sad to disappoint you, I'm not putting them up today. Must put them into those collages, else I'll be uploading those crazy pics like for 24 hours nonstop lor.

Happy thing is that, my small but better-than-nothing income is finally back =) My tuition kids are finally back from their KL holiday, although it's my turn this Sunday :D At least I still earn some bucks to save, not to spend. Haha! Thank you God!

Youth camp is coming so so fast, I thank God for the good roommates plan this time round - one more thing to make me feel better to go KL w/o sulking. Jemima, Claudia and Amanda, let's have loads of fun together ya =P 

Thank God for free WiFi when we are residing there too! YAY! (although it's only Radius Hotel~) All IPod Touch, Macbooks and smartphones, time to bring them on! Hee!

One more thing about going KL next week, we are not gonna squeeze into the 40-seater coach on our way up, bcos we are going there one day earlier (which is right after Sunday morning service). Reason being, we (Jemima, sis and me) are gonna help UMA do setup for video at church camp location - Berjaya Times Square Hotel. 

Best thing about it, UMA is driving us up, much faster and we get one free overnight stay at that 5* hotel :D although I prefer my bed best. Just curious to see what's the big hoo-ha about staying in that hotel, that's all. Hee! However, coming back to SG is still via coach lah. Ha!

Not forgetting, more pics to come at youth camp, KL! Wheeeeee~ Amanda, please bring your camera!! YAY!

Short & Sweet

A very short update, since I'm short of inspiration to blog about anything now.

Best thing I've done this year so far, I finally packed my pig sty room =) for 3 full days I was busy sorting, organising, repacking and cleaning my bookshelves and table. It is almost neat and organised, but still left my messy study table to be cleared. Just need another day to do so!

Ikea has been my favourite place to shop since forever, but recently I keep finding such interesting stuff to add on in my room. Only problem is, no money and no space left. Haha!

Anyway I'm still busy sorting out my pictures from the Sydney trip - too many leh! Gimme another week ok! Hope I get sth out onto the blog by then. Hee!
