Off to See Chelsea "Live" in KL

I'm going to KL from tml till this Wednesday =) again!

For what? Not just to holiday, yet again though. But this time round, with a better plan at hand. To watch Chelsea play "live" in KL, Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday!

Going with Christine and Cher Hao, so I guess I'll take some time to do up that entry when I'm back too lah. LOL!

Very busy trying to figure out how to drive safe and not get scolded by instructor anymore lah. Test date is coming so fast and I still have no ounce of confidence in my soul yet, only lotsa shit. Really. Sighs!

See ya then, I'll be back soon enough, after this week ends, that's that. (Too packed till Friday to go online liao lah) .... Heehee~

God is The Healer

[p/s: Ying Xi's 22nd birthday pics are here!]

These 2 songs we have heard quite often in church b4, that shows how powerful our God is. No doubt at all. He can heal us from all kinds of sicknesses and diseases! AMEN!

Blabs

Ok, let's start off this entry with an annoying act seen in the bus, on my way to Youth Net Rally yesterday evening.

If you are unable to see what's in this pic, lemme explain in detail.

Basically these 2 Chinese foreign nationals were seen sitting in the bus. I mean, there's nuthin wrong with that, we pay our fares to rest our butts, but these 2 adults did it differently.

They were happily and comfortably sitting on the bus steps, where it has stated "No standing on steps". No mistake made by either parties (passengers and bus company) bcos there were nuthin about sitting on steps lah, but it was all about being considerate mah.

Well, those 2 fellas boarded at Tampines and only alighted at Yishun, during peak hours and the bus was jam-packed lah. They were obstructing the door area with their butts, that the other passengers behind them had to squeeze thru' rather uncomfortably and awkwardly as we all try to be courteous and move to the rear of the bus.

Apparently, that lady and her companion mistaken or forgotten that they were in Singapore public transport. It was amusing when I first saw them, but it started to get irritating after seeing how much discomfort it brought to the other passengers lor.

Anyway, that aside, Youth Net Rally was a blast, especially the lil kids in Jemima's net were having so much fun playing the soccer table game and eating Botak Jones burgers together. Kids.

Speaking of kids, I got a few more kids in my babies' photo album =D cute lil babes we got in VFC =)
Nathan in his pram =p
4-month-old En Min sleeping (Her right hand moves like the traffic police directing traffic, when she sleeps. It's very funny!)

My beloved adorable En Jie, now kor kor* (big bro) to En Min (above)!
Awww! I like his "5" fingers pose!

I took some pics of the big black stray dog at the outside of Seletar Camp, it was rather far away and my camera hp could only go that well too =\ Any1 wanna bless me with a digital camera?

In normal colours
Sepia
B&W

Sepia and B&W effects gave a more "stray" visual effect on the dog, I thought it was nice for a pathetic 2MP camera.... -big fat shameless grin-

Then, I saw this cat bowing to this POSB ATM when I was doing transactions there just now, so funny! Actually it's sleeping lah, but the position so funny lah.

You know, National Day is coming, Singapore's turning 43 in just 19 days. It's a good thing that we have progressed so fast and far, given our limited resources.

Sadly, I think something really sad is happening to us Singaporeans nowayears. When I was in primary school, I recall every July, the entire Singapore HDB blocks would be flooded with the Singapore flags flapping in the wind.

Sometimes, there were some funny kelongs* (errors/mistakes) here and there..... flags hung inverted, backwards or even hanging on 1 hook only. Now, it's so difficult to find a block who even have any flags hung outside.

Even my block is guilty of the above charge, but with a valid reason of course! We are doing the dusty Lift Upgrading program thing, right smack outside our doorstep -.-! You tell me lah, how to hang? I would really love to hang the flag out, I wanna feel all patriotic and sing all the lovely National Day songs all over again, just like the primary school days lah.

"Chan Mali Chan, Hoi Hoi!"

"We are Singapore, we are Singapore, we'll stand together, hear the lion ROAR!"

Our "awesome" Mediacorp (back then TCS), would broadcast all the music videos for weeks b4 9th August. Now, I dun even see that whatever theme song of the year at all. I heard this year's video was a copycat thing? Sad eh, piracy and plagiarism has hit the government too. Oh wells.

This pic was the only place I saw in Tampines that had lotsa flags in a row, literally! Even the block in the background of the pic, has no flags seen. Sighs. Where has the patriotic spirit of our Singaporeans went to??!!! So sad lah.

I'm so proud of Singapore, and being a citizen of it too! Really lah!

The wind blow the flag till so nice =)

LOL!

Actually I got loads to blog about the past few weeks, but I forgot alot of things already. All I know is that, I'm trying my very best to do well for my driving lessons, although I make alot of silly mistakes every single time.

However, I'm rather happy to hear a good comment from my instructor today, my parallel parking is good! Wahahaha~! I practised like shit lah, so happy! Driving in the circuit is like, so irritatingly cramped and squeezy, I kelong alot again, as usual.

Oh wells, hope tml will be better, 2 more weeks left! So gan jiong lah. Thinking of it always makes me wanna shit sia!

p/s: the msia trip pics will take some time to come bcos its taking forever to upload into Blogger ): I give up for now.

Happy & Blissful

I'm back, in blogging action!!

We, the secondary school buddies, have finally met up for dinner, with no absentees at all - this time round! Dinner at NYDC, Bugis Junction, was very good and fun!

Shi Yun was busy updating us about her wedding and all, we can all feel the wedding excitement and we can't wait to be her jie meis* aka sisters - (姐妹) too! Shi Yun looked so blissful, her face had that radiant glow, I reckon that all soon-to-be brides have. LOL!

Me, Shi Yun and Madeline =D

We have started planning for her bachelorette party (the theme's PINK!!!) and thought of some ideas to sabotage her hubby on the wedding day, when he comes to fetch her from her house! So fun! Anyone care to share with us more ideas, email me at nsync.sg@gmail.com!!

You know, usually bachelorette parties are usually for the bride's girlfriends to celebrate the last day of the bride's single status, but we buddies decided to break the trend and invited our guy buds alongside to celebrate with Shi Yun together!

Well, good things must share together mah, what more fun with teasing the bride!!! So now, the guys must remember to come in PINK!

This is our 1st time together, being jie meis for a very close friend, and we hope that the couple will 白头携老* (grow old together)!

So sweet!!! - taken by Beng ;p

I got a Mizuno cap somewhere last month, while shopping with Cher Hao at Jurong Point. Well, I had always wanted to wear a cap but it always seemed that my head is too big for it =X Stop laughing lah... it's so not funny can.....

So I decided to bring this cap to my recent trip to Malaysia, and I must say, I'm so glad I din have to bother about my hair throughout the trip, cos the cap hid all the bad hair days away! Wahahahaha! Very suitable for a lazy girl like me ;p

Cher Hao got me a nice Swiss watch, and this is the 1st circle-face watch I have in my watch collection. LOL! Obviously bcos I got a skinny wrist, hence a square-face or a any 4-sided face watch will look darn good on my wrist. Circle-face watches makes my wrist look skinnier and funnier-looking.

However, since he was so nice to bought me a watch, I'd gladly wear that watch when I go out with him lah! Hahaha~

So we had dinner few days back at Restaurant Hoshigaoka, at Shaw Lido. I must say that the food there looks so expensive but surprisingly, it's rather affordable and good-to-eat! Ying Xi, go there with Rob to eat lah!

My Tenzaru Set (only about $15 after discount) - Unagi Don, Teriyaki Chicken, Deep-fried Flatfish and dessert....

Cher Hao's Dinner Set B (about $17 after discount) - Soba, Tempura, Sushi and a lil eclair as dessert!

Yes yes, he look so happy to eat his food....

Ladies who dine in there, gets 20% off their regular menu items. OCBC Credit cards members gets 10% off total bill =) afterall, the discounts I got, just couldn't compare with the amount I paid for GST and service charge. Oh wells, better than nothing lah.

Very satisfied us =)

I went shopping alone on that day before we met up with Shi Yun. I walked into this m)phosis shop looking for nice clothes to buy. Sadly, they never have sales when I shopped there. So I choose these two clothes, almost alike though, apart from the sleeves' length.

Brown short-sleeves, with attached shorts

Black with longer sleeves, with attached shorts... (also avail in brown)

So, now I'm thinking, which one is nicer to buy? Girls, please tell me =)

Ok, random sun-related pics now.....

Sunrise, while waiting for train at Simei.....

Sunset, while waiting for bus at Tampines Interchange.....

LOL! Yes, I'm super random.... Ok, time to go for BBQ @ church! FOOD!!!!!!!

Oh yes, I'll put up my Malaysia trip entry up (I've written finished already), once Cher Hao passes me the pics, about 400 in total, with 3 videos ;p heehee!
