Leap Day = Last Day @ Kingsmen

my workstation @ Kingsmen

1 more day left to work! Today is the last day, finally! It's the one-in-4-years' leap day!

My colleagues here are quite sad that I'm going bcos no1 will be there to help them do their nonsense already. Suddenly I received piles of stuff to do this week, as a lil 'momento' for my last week temp-ing at humpty dumpty. LOL!

I think, in the last 1.5 months here, I sure have eaten alot and not forgetting snacking even more =) we had cny goodies, bak kwa, donuts, goreng champeda* (fried jackfruit) and waffles! Wahahahaha!

The colleagues at the Projects Dept have been real nice people and they really can joke about most stuff; be it crude or lame or boring. Mainly, our topics revolved around BGR, food, children and having fun.

Anyway, it has been an interesting time for me at Kingsmen during this period. Will miss all the chatter and lunch times with the ladies especially :) will miss crapping and dozing off in the toilet too.

Till then, its back to school once again, commencing this Sunday :(

p.s. February has not been quite a good month for me, although CNY was in it. Oh wells.

Blah Blah Blah~

Yes yes, my entry is rather backdated bcos I was simply too busy and tired to blog anything.

Valentine's Day last week, was rather sweet :) movie watched was P.S. I Love You, quite touching story. I was especially satisified with Hilary Swank's acting in this movie. All the cinemas were crazily booked and packed, with people and flowers. Heng ar, I booked the tickets online and got the back seats.

I had dinner with CH at this nice-ambience Japanese restaurant at Wheellocks Place. It is called Sun & Moon. Lately, I seem to be eating a lot of nice food from Wheellocks, the food there is indeed good - other than pricing wise though ;p

The service there is rather attentive, the food presentation is colourful and nice, the food taste good, the variety of food is better than the usual Japanese restaurants in the heartland malls, the pricing is higher and the place is cosy to dine in =D I like~!

Colourful food presentation~
All hungry just looking at the menu =p
1 minute till my food is cooked, on the spot =)
TADA!!!! Seafood in all colours O.O
Salmon Sashimi -slurps-

Cha Soba on ice~

Nice decor and ambience

Last but not least, the restaurant gave every lady who dine there - a nice red rose, in collaboration with V-Day =) very sweet hor!

Clake Quay was our next destination, and we were meeting Ying Xi and Robyn for drinks together =) headed to Fashion Bar! It's quite a comfy place to chill and drink, no smoking allowed inside the premises, a tad too empty but we like the decor and seats most!

(from left) Choc Martini, Dum Rum (I think so), Tequila Sunrise -pukes- , Screaming Multiple Orgasm -nice-
CHEESE!

Last Friday was our Tampines Zone CNY dinner at Seoul Garden TM =) quite a good turnout and we all had fun eating and playing with food =X just love those kids!

Tampines Zone net groups makan-ing!

After dinner, Karina, Elijah, Amos and I went to give Su Ping a lil belated birthday surprise, and she sure was touched and -duh- surprised by our visit. She was already in bed lah! LOL!

We then watched Jumper after that, which turned out so-so only. Disappointed me as I've expected better than that and the effects are like so -bleah- =\

Visitation at Ying Xi's house the following afternoon was nice, but definitely not as fun as previous years at her old house. Lesser people turned up that day, which made the house slightly quieter this year.

We also din manage to play cards or mahjong either, due to time constraint, and we ended up being couch potatoes, watching dvds! Oh well, its nice to just chill out once in awhile lor.

Sunday was just the usual packed day with meetings, duties and all. Bleahs. I wonder when I can just nuah during the afternoon break lor. Lazy to elaborate already lah.

Oh! I went for this year's Singapore Air Show held at Changi Exhibition Centre. It's a nicely constructed area for aviation exhibitions and it sure is windy, given that it faces the sea! Wheeeeeeeee~

Thank God I was given a free trade-days ticket from one of my classmates, and He blessed me with another one from SIAE, on the day b4 I went for the air show. I reckon God knew that I can't tahan going there alone, that's why ;p

So let the pics do the talking, or rather blogging, for the rest of my entry (:

Dinner and movie Fool's Gold, with CH yesterday. We had fun hanging out together =) never fails anyway.

I just finished watching 2/3 of Love at Harvard, a kdrama that I've dragged off last December. It's rather sweet and nice, touching at some scenes, exciting at other scenes. Arghh! I just wanna know the ending lah! Kdramas are just so draggy sometimes man.

Anyway, here are some pics and videos to see, just in case you are blur reading this entire entry lor ;p

God is Awesome in ALL His Plans

So I just had another packed Sunday, which nearly sucked most of my remaining energy off my body. Judging by the hours I've slept and the schedule I had during the CNY holidays, I had almost every right to just doze off during sermons and classes =X heehee!

My net was on duty for youth coffee corner, aka Gobble Gabble! We had microwave popcorn! Movie theater butter popcorn, but its not sweet at all lah. But still, thanks to Samantha for going thru the trouble for us =D

Was busy in the afternoon doing that sweet production line again, this time packing for PRC team. We are surely fighting this youth campus outreach well, as we have been experiencing spiritual warfare! No joke hor....

After which. it was net then NLT2 class, and of course video duty for evening service. Zzzzz! Imagine how tired I can be.

Zhi Lin and Yisi left for Australia on Monday, to further their university studies. They took mountains of pics and so many people came to send them off lah.

It was quite an emotional scene at Changi Airport T1 departure gate; especially seeing the 4 sisters hugging each other for the final time. Sighs. Left me tearing right there, bcos I myself can't imagine not seeing my sister for the entire year lor. Boo hoo!

Yisi, Zhi Lin and me =)

Siglap Sec team decided to give out the sweets yesterday instead, as 14th was a rather difficult day to give due to lotsa "last-minute" school activities. It is certainly and definitely NOT a coincidence lor! -BIG spiritual warfare-

Yet I'm very glad to say that we have managed to receive much positive feedback from our members and the students. I was really surprised that many students nowadays have never heard of Jesus, even in Singapore where so many churches are around us now!

Results: Jarel actually managed to give out all 40 sweets in 5mins! Great response from his class =) Jeremiah actually had friends asking him who Jesus is, and even ask for more sweets ;p its ok, who dun love sweets anyway! Hahaha!

Timothy was down with gastric pain but still managed to give out the sweets. Wei Gin and Wei Si were rather enthu about this outreach too, and I can say that they really tried hard.

Although some of the responses received were like crap and horrible, but we all felt that God was really supporting us yesterday! He is moving mightily and He surely answers prayers. Indeed, the season is here, right now!!

Let's all not be disheartened by this lil negativity, but instead continue to pray and look forward to reach the aims and goals we have set for this school! Never underestimate what God can do in and thru us man!

Last but not least, great job to all my Siglap team members! -group hugs-

God is Awesome!

Next up, the plans for this school, all coming up in the months to come! Sit tight boy~

Tml is Valentine's Day. Got a date? If not, just stay home and read all my blog archives lah! LOL~ just kidding! Go hang out with your frenz ya ;p Go get a life man!

Off to do my proposal now! Gdnite =D

新年快乐!

B4 CNY, my colleague gave me bird nest to drink, not say very expensive but better than nuthin lor. Hahaha! End up I could not resist it and drank it once I was home =p -yums-

All gone!

Mama finally cooked, for our family's reunion dinner =) yummy food.... chilli prawns, mixed vegetable, steamed fish, soy duck etc. Slurps!

Oh yes, let me wish all of you guys: 新年快乐!万事如意,年年有余,身体键康,心想事成 + 恭喜发财!!!

1st day of the Chinese New Year has passed and I'm so exhausted! At least we managed to collect more ang baos* (red packets) than previous years, much thanks to more couples getting married lately =p

This year I wanted my theme to be mainly white and cream, but I think it was good to add in more contrasting colours too. So I wore that satin brown dress with green prints, with cream heels out yesterday.

Paiseh, Blogger can't rotate pics, and I got no idea why my Mac dun dun auto-rotate my uploaded pics either =\ Boooooo!!!!

The pretty cream white-ish 3-inch heels I bought, brought much blisters and aches to me. Most of all, my poor feet are so tired! My calf muscles and feet still hurt after waking up today. Try walking on tiptoes for the entire day lah!

Much of all, it's good to see the entire family having a big reunion, eating good Teochew-style food and laughing like kids together. Been quite a long time since we really sat down for a nice talk - catching up on each other's lives and playing board games with cousins, just like the younger days.

Big and small kids busy playing com and board games together -.-

Me, sis and my lovely cousins!

Sighs. Time sure fly fast. Even our parents and relatives were saying the same thing, that we are getting into the marriagable age soon while they get into retirement age -.-|| whatever lah!

All of us have indeed grown up over the past 20 years or so. All the memories we used to share together. Wah! I feel old just thinking of it liao...... LOL!

Tml will be visiting my pa's side, not very close to those cousins though. Just the usual practice, smile and entertain the older adults lor. I'm a young adult =D

Wheeeeeeeee~

My recent Sunday was a super packed and fulfilled day, and I've enjoyed every moment of it! Wahahahaha!!

Did directing for morning service video duty, thank God everything went on very smoothly w/o hiccups =) we, the video crew along with Zhi Lin, took loads of pics in the video room - since she's leaving for Melbourne to study medicine next Monday. We'll surely miss her for the next 5 years lah!!

Met up with my Siglap Sec core team to start off our V-day outreach preparations. Thanks to all our region youths for helping us with the sweets production line packing system. LOL!

Totally appreciate your help guys, esp Nikki and my team guys. Next week we shall resume production for the Pasir Ris Crescent Sec team =)

Dinner with Angelina and the twins was great. Did some catching up here and there, just b4 Angelina leaves for her studies in Perth again. Gonna miss her man!

We ended up chatting about more adult-ish topics, as in marriage and career etc. Of course we did reminisce about the old school days like any other grown up kid. Sighs. This year so fast 22 liao. Zzzzzz....

Just to sidetrack abit for now, since I'm from the nursery ministry, I get peeved when people beat their kids.

Just watch these videos on how this Indonesian maid abuse a helpless 2 mth baby, and you'll know what I mean. All part 1-6 on youtube.com!

Apparently, this piece of news came out on Channel 8 news last night. I feel like strangling that maid lah. Arghhh!!! She's retarded, no heart, no conscience, no brain and no love!!!

Okok.... On a happier note, I wanted to share this video with you guys, got it from Joyce's Multiply site. So if you din hear it b4, here you go: Healer by Planetshakers. Enjoy!

Last but not least, I dun need to go work tml, CNY eve!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~~~ Today marks the end of the working week for us at humpy dumpy!!! I'm logging off work NOW!!!

Humpy Dumpy, Chinatown, CNY, Shepherd

I think I can be nominated or rather be awarded this, "Most Frequent Go-er of humpy dumpy Level 4 Toilet".

Know why I say that? Bcos lately the admin workload has been rather minimal and I can't possibly always surf the internet on my desktop to blog or watch videos, as the other colleagues might think I'm super free lah (which I truly am). So I usually end up heading to the toilet eat snake* (laze) =D

I estimated I frequent the toilet there maybe 5-7 times a day; not bcos my bladder is in bad condition, but rather bcos I'm bored doing nuthin literally. I always end up asking my colleague if there's anything I could help her with, usually getting a head shaking "No". Oh wells.

Since I got nuthin much to really do and CNY is around the corner, the suppliers are constantly coming into our office to give us goodies and bak kwa =P we ended up fattening ourselves with new year goodies lah.

Ever heard of Grandma Tay's Cookies, with a "心" 字 as its logo? It happened to be one of my colleagues' aunt who baked those wonderful goodies.

Most of the colleagues and suppliers pre-ordered them and we all ate so much! We especially loved the pineapple tarts and finished 2 containers in 3 days. The crust texture is just nice, the pineapple filling so much and its just the right sweetness. Ooh la la!

Grandma Tay's Cookies (situated in Chinatown)

Okok I shall stop boasting about my slack admin job already. Just yesterday, my nice colleagues kinda invited me to go with them to Phuket, the company's incentive trip to the Projects department.

However, since I'm not a permanent staff there, I would need to pay the full price of $580 as I have no subsidy. I was tempted to agree since I can go overseas and have fun with those people, but bcos no $$, I sadly said a cool "Nah!" Yeah sighs.... =(

On another note, I went Chinatown 2 days back, with Cher Hao. This year's CNY decor is certainly better than last year's pink curtains' decor, though it still can be further improved lah. LOL!
Winnie the Pooh and Friends =)

Mickey Mouse and Friends =D

Just before that CNY lights' stroll, Cher Hao and I went to eat dinner at Togi Restaurant, an authentic Korean food eatery =P its located at 11, Mosque Street. It sells real good Korean cuisine man!

The side dishes, radish soup and Korean pear juice

Grilled Squid rice in Hot earthen bowl
BBQ/Grilled Pork Belly with lettuce =p (eat with Soju wine, it will be heavenly!)
By Cher Hao's recommendation, Togi Korean Restaurant!

Thank you to CH for recommending such good food to me, not forgetting that Cedele dinner last week too!

Joan and Janice, you babes should try the food there hor. Won't regret one. LOL!

Yesterday at the youth net rally, Gary announced the 2nd-generation net leaders for R5/6. Those in Tampines were me, sis, Jemima and Ee Ling. Let us all continue to grow more in God as we shepherd His flocks together!

All the leaders were given a nice sliver thermal mug, specially designed by Karina. Thanks girl!

Very meaningful mug design, nicely inscribed with "fivesixYOUTH - Youths with Jesus in our Hearts", verses Prov 27:23 and John 21:15-17 and this shepherd with lil sheep pic.... Baaaaaa~

Jesus said, "Follow Me!"

So all you shepherds, what are you waiting for? GO find that lost sheep and lead it back to His flocks!

By the way, dun eat Ramen Ten. I rather eat Ajisen Ramen lor. In terms of quality and quantity.

That's all I can remember blogging about. My train of thoughts keep getting disconnected today, so difficult to concentrate on blogging. Off for edge service :) wheeeeeeeee~~~

Oh yes, speaking of edge service, I got sth to share, but I think leave it for another day to say lah. Time for a warm bath, the weather so cold!
