I Need Sleep!

36 hours w/o sleep over the wkend.

7 hours of total wkend sleep.

9 hours in office on a Monday.

Zombie. Panda. Ugly girl.

I'm so tired. Zzzzzzzzzzzz~

I need more beauty sleep!

Enlightenment!

Today was a very eventful day for me. I shall not share here bcos I am seriously tired of repeating everything again. I did so 3 times today already, each account lasted for 30 mins ba.

Ah! I also acquired a different perspective of the story about the shepherd who left his flock and went all out to find that one lost sheep back. In the story, Jesus is the shepherd, we are the sheep. The lost sheep will either be those who have backsliden etc. 

I now truly understand the urgent need to find back that lost sheep. I feel so burdened, with all the other feelings I cannot describe. I pray that every1 will have that passion for the lost souls , just as much as I do.

Time sure has passed very quickly in the past year. Very soon I'll be 'promoted' to become a net leader, and to take over Karina's net group too. Frankly, I'm super nervous and not-so-confident right now.

Many things are changing rapidly and this year is a season for us youths especially, to reach out to our "The One" and for God to answer our prayers. God has started to move in my life, in my net group, in some of our region youths' lives too. Thank God!

February is heading in real fast. We had just celebrated New Year's Day 26 days ago lah, yet in 6 days, we will be in the 2nd month of 2008 already. Indeed time does not wait for any1 and we should cherish every moment we got.

CNY is coming, so many other activities has packed up my schedule for February already. What about you guys? Done all your shopping, hair, nails, beauty sleep etc yet? LOL!

On another note, I had dinner at Cedele: The Bakery Depot, with Cher Hao. It was at Wheelocks Place. They are famous for their home-made bread and the different stuff they make, e.g. ice-cream.

The ambience, decor and service were up to standard. The food and pricing were reasonably priced, although it could still be cheaper than stated in the menu. 

Speaking of the menu, the paper used was of so-so quality; judging by the numerous amount of times customers start flipping of pages here and there. There were crumples and dog-ears already.

Still, it's worth eating there once in awhile, to relax and enjoy a nice healthy organic dinner =)

Blogging in the Office!

Wahahaha! I can finally blog in the office! Love internet access at workplace =)

Din update much either bcos I was too busy trying to recuperate my loss of sleep during the weekend. Din even had the chance to turn on my Mac =X

5th day at work. Basically my work has been quite mundane lah. Photocopying tons of paper, data entry like forever, pasting company stickers for complimentary items to clients etc. Sighs. I'm clearly bored.

The colleagues, like I mentioned in my previous entry, they are very nice people - rarely gossip in the office. They even nicknamed me "Tall Girl" bcos I had surpressed in terms of height even to all the dudes in the office. LOL! Should I be feeling honoured or what eh?

The office here, no coffee shops in the vicinity, which leaves me very hungry by tea break. No canteen in the building either, very unlike Infineon. Maybe its good eh, I can lose some weight since I've been eating like a glutton since my holidays started.

I discovered that, the rooftop of the office building actually has a basketball court and a lil water-feature garden area for the employees to chill out. I was rather surprised and impressed bcos all the offices I've worked or temp-ed in, din have those facilities.

As of now, I'm still doing data entry of potential company clients' particulars. -yawns- till then, take care guys, heard there's a new potent flu virus happening around Singapore. Sighs.

1st Day at Work

1st day of (temp boring admin) work, completed!

I was on time for work! -pats my own shoulder proudly-  ^^v

Wahahaha~ I proved you guys wrong, so wrong!!

Admin is very boring, din get to use any brain cells at all. I feel so retarded already, but for the sake of $$, I tahan!

No leave nor MC given, everything's no-pay leave and the pay is pro-rated according to how often I turn up for work.

On the other hand, the people there are really friendly and outgoing. Maybe its their profession, being sales/technical/design pros; they are quite unlike the colleagues I used to have at Infineon Technologies (except for my lunch kakis). 

Maybe its too early to judge, but well 1st impression does matters most after all.

They got tons of interesting stories to share - inspiring and weird movies they watched, things they did with their families, lame jokes etc. Lunch today sure was entertaining =) 

They literally marvelled at my height, my dimples and my age. LOL!

Oh, I din speak much today, maybe less than 20 words in normal conversation for the whole 9 hours in office. Very unlike me eh, yes I know. I test waters b4 revealing the ultimate me mah. Well, wait till next week then I'll open up more and start talking to them.  

No worries, I dun have bad breath lah. Hey, I do open my mouth to ask questions and drink lotsa water hor. Haiyo!

I'm quite worn out, or rather my eyes are dry and sleepy. What do you expect, after staring at the computer in the office doing mundane data-entry and sorting out papers and pasting company stickers on gift boxes. What a beating to my intelligence. Sighs.

Tml will be more of those crap. Oh well, I asked for it yet I'm complaining away. Haha! Time to sleep..... Gotta be up at 7am, hopefully I can get up, just like this morning =p 

Hey, its so early for me lah; considering me waking up at noon everyday for the past 10 months. Anyways, goodnight~!

Busy Again

Thank God Simon is ok, after that mad dog's bite on Sunday. So when you coming back eh? I saw alot of nice clothes today, was walking alone lor. Haiya, faster come back leh!!

Oh yes, I finally got that temp job! Nuthin big, just being a boring admin assistant lah. Low pay, no life (I reckon so) and doing sai kang* (dirty jobs), or rather retarded tasks lah. Oh well, for the sake to replenish my savings back, I tahan* (endure)!

So I'm starting work tml, dun ever say I enjoy life or slacker me hor. I very hardworking one, just that I have lil time to nuah when I'm studying mah. I have not even watch my long-ago tv shows finish, yet I gotta work liao. Haiya, dunno when I can resume watching them. Sighs.

Ok, enough of my blabbering, I'm off to bed else tml I surely oversleep on my 1st day of work lah. I know, many of you are predicting I'll be late right.. so mean people... tsk tsk tsk!

Boring!

Seriously I got nuthin to blog as of today. Surprise eh. A very big contrast to my previous entry, super packed with activities. LOL!

One reason being, that new job agent of mine has yet to get back to me regarding that part-time job. When can I start replenishing my savings back eh?

Another reason being, I miss my shopping kaki, Simon Tan already. Oi mister, ah-beng Tan, when you coming back Singapore huh? I wanna go shopping at Zara leh! Let's do some modelling alongside with Samuel lah!

Next reason being, Mama has cancelled that lil shopping trip to Malacca this Saturday; hence I think I'm going for that youth corporate activity instead.

Last reason as of what I can think of is, bcos I finally pia* (rushed) thru that kdrama, Dalja's Spring. Thanks Joan for loaning the dvds to me. Its so funny and nice, worth watching lah! Next, I'm supposed to finish watching this series, Love at Harvard. Wahahaha! No worries, I'm no kdrama addict, yet =)

Maybe this coming week will have be interesting. -yawns- Oh well, till then, Jules signing outta here =P

Busy with Fun-Filled Activities Already!

Oops! Excuse the lack of updates recently =) been busy having fun and enjoying my LONG holidays lah. Heehee~ no pics in here, so hang on tight and read on ya ;p

So, we've officially stepped into 2008 already. Students all back to school, in their ironed uniforms and silly school shoes. Teehee~ I cannot remember when was the last time I needed to wear those white/greyish white school shoes to class lor. LOL! 

Oh well, that's the sucky thing about being a Singaporean student. No freedom to choose the shoes you wanna wear. Ok, on to the next topic.... Chinese New Year is coming, AGAIN!!! 红包红包，快点进我的口袋吧！

It is the year of the Rat. Wahahaha! That's my mama's Chinese Zodiac animal. So fast hor, all the yummy food and reunion dinner and family gatherings, I just can't wait! -lick lips, stomach growling-

Ah, this week was rather packed. Kept going out until mama not very happy =X hahaha! Finally got my butt off the bed and headed to the gym and track for some workout of that awful tummy fats. Much thanks to Ying Xi for suggesting that, although I had to drag myself to East Coast Park area =\

After a nice workout, we really needed to recoup back the lost energy, so off we went to meet the buddies for a Fish&Co dinner. Yummy! Nice fellowship din end at the dinner table, hence we decided to pop by Ying Xi's home for a stayover, rather last minute though :D

Had some drinks with card games, watched interesting movies, laughing our heads off like retards and we ended up sleeping on that awfully-expensive-yet-comfy living room goat's hair carpet like pigs.... what else right... Okok its not exactly the goat's hair, but it's really a hairy carpet lah. LOL!

Caregroup meeting at Karina's new house was quite rushed (bcos some of us were quite late =X) but fulfilling. Touched on important admin stuff and the short sharing about Leadership was good =) Finally sent out the minutes for the meeting, after much trouble given by darn Hotmail. Stupid.

Today, Cher Hao and I finally went to Changi Airport Terminal 3, the all-new spacious and pretty nice terminal, aka Singapore's new pride and joy. It is currently housing Singapore Airlines' awesome A380 aircraft, SIA's own pride and joy. Talk about double happiness eh.... [双喜临门]

Ok, enough on pride and joy and happiness. As I was saying, it was rather different in terms of decor and aesthetics, as compared to Terminals 1 and 2. Took some pics here and there, but its with Cher Hao now.

Alrighty, my red Apple is running low on battery life and I'm lazy to put in that cool magnetic power adaptor either. So here am I, the slack blogger, signing outta here. Cheers yo! -muacks-
