Pa, Spoil Me Silly!
Extracted from justinherson: "I'm not sure if this was staged... what you're seeing here is some rich kid getting upset and cussing her mom for giving her a brand new LEXUS (SC430... i think) for her 15th birthday...She claims that her "life is ruined" because the car was given to her on the wrong day...Wow..."
Stupid unappreciative spoilt brat, a lil girl at 15 years of age and acting so moronic. OMG! I pity her mama, and feel sorry for her good intentions. Spare the rod, spoil your child~
I got enough of the rod already. I dun mind that Lexus SC430 car for my 21st birthday! Woo hoo~ God, pls hint to Papa now =D He got 5.5 months to get that car for me ^^ eh although I was promised a trip to Taiwan already; top it up with that pretty car, I'd be quite happy! Lalalalala~~
Drawing Maths Answers!
Another interesting video I saw on Multiply site, by 1daniel =) Interesting way of learning Maths multiplications! Beats mental sums or the traditional workings. Not forgetting being penalised by teacher for not showing on paper and say we copy answers etc. Those were the memories~

Stabilising
Went to see him again today, everything was calmer as compared to yesterday. Both his parents were there, still worried and anxious though. He seems to be better today.
As of this morning's update, his condition is stabilising. His head pressure has gone down to 10, below the danger benchmark (>20). Could be the blood clot in the brain has almost been dispersed. Blood pressure difference is 70 odd and should be normal quite soon, which is good. Face swelling has went down abit, brain activity had increased to 20 odd already. He is starting to respond abit to certain noises but still in a coma state. He has been taken off anesthesia too.
Thank God for answering our prayers. Let's not let our guard down now, but continue to pray that he can be transferred to a normal ward soon after. Being in the ICU cost a bomb! Let his body function as per normal soon and expedite his healing process too. Let a miracle take place in his life, as well as his parents too...
Will visit him again on Saturday, to check on his condition =) cheers out~
*UPDATE: As of 29/6/07 evening, Andrew has showed signs of reswelling; could be due to lack of medication or sth. He is back on the life support machine. Pls continue to pray for him! Thanks~*

He Needs God's Healing Touch
A long day at CGH ICU today. He is indeed in bad shape. Lotsa tears were shed for him.
Every hour, batches of his frenz kept arriving; ranging from secondary school to poly to army to police force pals. Saw many familiar faces that we have lost touch with; but I would rather meet them all under happier circumstances though.
After 3 major operations, lotsa tubes and bandages around him, frenz and others giving him lotsa moral support, I pray that God will continue to hear our prayers and heal him.
Details about the accident are still quite vague, his injuries are very serious and there might be more that we dunno of =x He needs our prayers badly! Believe in faith that he will be out of danger and get thru this horrid ordeal soon. Not forgetting, to have complete healing and have a smooth recovery for him. Pray for emotional and physical strength for his loved ones especially his mother and girlfriend too.
Will visit him again tml to check on his condition. Time to catch up on my soon-due assignments!

Life Is So Unpredictable
Life is indeed so unpredictable. We dunno when is the last breath our body wanna take, nor how we will look like when we pass on etc. Sorry if this entry sound so morbid and negative. In the 1st hour of today, I heard 2 bad news relating to lives. Both are related to my secondary school ex-classmates.
Andrew Tham got into a traffic accident: motorbike and taxi. Was flung 20m from his bike and is now in ICU. Thank God there was no pillon rider. Last I heard was neck and back injuries + maybe internal bleeding, will visit him once his condition stabilises.
The other ex-classmate K*, was on his sister. Few days back he announced excitedly on his blog that he was to be an uncle in 9 months time. Yesterday, his sister suffered a sudden miscarriage after complaining of stomach cramps. Medical advice being: the body knows when to stop when the foetus is growing abnormally. Doctor was just mentioning during the checkup that the foetus was indeed growing abnormally. I'm so sorry about her loss but God has better future plans for her.
Apparently, it is said that it was part and parcel of the nature and our body's functions. We dunno when our body will stop functioning well too, we must always take good care of ourselves! Yes, God will heal us but that does not gives us the right to take our good health for granted. All I can pray now is that, both families will continue to be strong in going thru this crisis, physically and emotionally, together with the suffering member now. Dun take life for granted but live it to the fullest!
I was talking to God last night and it felt so good being in His presence once again; after slacking around so much. I was quite saddened by some recent issues happening around me, and I was asking God for advice. Then I saw Ee Ling's sms, ".... God has His special plans for everyone...." It is the divine appointments God has set so as to make things happen, but that does not mean we should slack either. Continue to persevere on in your goals and you will see God's hand moving thru =) You will be marvelled by His works, yet once again!

*UPDATE: Hey everyone, Andrew Tham is now in serious condition in CGH ICU, after being involved in a traffic accident with a taxi near TM. Details of the accident remains blurry at the moment. Whoever wants to visit him, please take note that visiting hours is from 12-2pm and 5-8pm.
Last I heard from those who visited him today, was that his brain was still swelling and he is still in a coma. Let's continue to pray together for healing and a full functional body for Andrew.
Whoever interested to come along tml afternoon, some of us from SHSS will be there during the lunch hour. SMS me if you coming along.*

Let's Keep On Praying for Today's Youths!
The Big Question Christians Always Ask: "What is God's will for my life?"
http://www.christianity.com/faith/11545373.aspx
Check out the above link! Many familiar verses, but all in a different perspective. Interesting!
Recently, I try to emphasise alot to people, on how special and different our youths are nowadays. They can make a difference in our daily lives, without you knowing that fact yourself. We need to keep praying for them, keep them dear to us and not let them stray away to the dark side...... Nope, not StarWars here, but its SatanWars~
Thanks Ee Ling, for these great prayer pointers. I feel that they are quite important, to be prayed and to look out for. They are the future generation leaders, dun let them die out. Its not for any political reasons like what 2Ms always say, this is now for Jesus! YAY!!
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." [Romans 14:17]
1. Pray that the youths will really live out a life of goodness, peace and joy. That they'll not just lead their Christian walk with a superficial religious spirit; instead they pursue deeper into the walk.
"Ask me and I will tell you some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here." [Jeremiah 33:3]
2. Pray for the youths to seek and ask God relentlessly, asking God to reveal to them the secrets that He have for them. At the same time, ask God what is the actual meaning of really 'living for Him' all about ;p
Have a great day ahead! Cheers out~

I Still Wanna Give Thanks to God!
Haha! B is 75 marks and above, looks like I was just 1 mark short to 70. Chris had 74 marks, he was indeed 1 mark short to a B. LOL! 1 Thess 5:18 just kept ringing in my head for many weeks; during today's lecture, God was telling me to give thanks to Him in all circumstances, despite my big disappointments. Yeah, I was not listening to the Eng Comms lecturer at all. ^^ God was a better lecturer anyway.
I give thanks to God, that even though I got a C, its was a good C. My group and I were still the few better ones who did reasonably well for AO1. I also thank God that although my presentation was sucky last evening, at least it is over and I realised the importance of not living on our past achievements/ being too complacent. Major project is up, a HUGE 40%! I must not slack this time round....
I really need God's wisdom to help me through some issues regarding those lil sheeps of mine. Things are getting confusing, complicating and annoying by the minute. Once after another.
Being a leader, ain't that easy. It is more than just leading people after you have made certain decisions. It needs your sacrifice of time and commitment to listen and be a part of their lives. They always annoy and irritate me big time; but I thank God that they choose to confide in me over their silly 'pig and dog frenz' (猪朋狗友) out there. God must continue to guide and bless me through the days! I also need to rest and have a life out there besides being your 大姐大(big sister), nanny, babysitter, leader and mummy leh!
2 Tim 2:22-25; just the words I needed to know after talking to Samuel and his mess. Yes! God indeed knew what was on my mind and provided the solution for me =) now I arga arga know how to settle those lil punks already. Our heavenly father is indeed wonderful, marvellous, incredibly awesome and a great shepherd to us all ^^

Jitters and Butterflies
1 mark short! Sighs. Imagine the disappointment when I saw it just b4 my presentation. I was praying for at least a B for AO1, as mentioned in the entry 2 days back. Yeah I was so close to that B. Imagine 69 marks, and a big C staring back at you. Unprepared state of mind now. I dunno how to face Papa now.
Presentation today was full of jitters and butterflies. Compared to our splendid Planning Seminar in AO1, we were like unprepared soldiers to war. I exceeded my 5 minutes speech time, bcos there was too much crap to say and I stumble on my words occasionally (due to lack of practice). Chris spoke abnormally extra slow like an old man; Hirlie was expressionless and forgot his lines. Wah!
However my classmates were nice enough to encourage us by saying it was a good presentation and very 'different' from the rest. Different, bcos we were not presenting about technical stuff on aerospace industry; but on service in the civil aviation industry instead. Whatever. How to get A for Eng Comm now? :(
Still got lecture tml, on a happy Saturday afternoon. Bleah. My stomach just feels knotty, thinking about Papa's black face and being grounded very soon. God bless me~

99 Balloons, Give Thanks Always!
http://www.ninetynineballoons.com/ (Blog of 99-days-old Baby Eliot & parents)
http://www.ignitermedia.com/products/iv/singles/570/99-Balloons (Video Version)
http://mattandginny.blogspot.com/2006/06/what-is-trisomy-18_09.html (What is Trisomy 18?)
Eliot was born with an undeveloped lung, a heart with a hole in it and DNA that placed faulty information into each and every cell of his body (Trisomy 18). However, that could not stop the living God from proclaiming Himself through this boy who never uttered a word. In the midst of heartbreaking tragedy, the Mooney family found the presence of God strengthening, comforting, and guiding them. Their story reminds us to seek God and endure our struggles rather than blame Him for our hardships.
Job 1:21 "The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised."
John 9:1-3 "As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi (Teacher), who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?""Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.”
Then in v. 6-7, Jesus heals the blind man ^^v That is the display of God's work in that blind man's life, as well as to the disciples, followers, villagers and other witnesses' lives!
Got this link when I was reading the daily devotional faith topic on http://www.christianity.com/ today. Treasure every minute you have with your loved ones =)
1 Thess 5:18 has been speaking to me for the past 2 months. "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." It is somewhat related to Job 1:21, when God sent all sorts of horrible stuff that any man can encounter on Earth. In good times we rejoiced with God, with our loved ones and frenz. But in bad times, we blame God, lament about why we deserved this kinda punishment etc. Yeah, how can we ever give thanks or rejoice when bad things happen to me and you... There must be a reason as to why God let it happened. This is not God's penalty for us, but instead He's using these situations to show us how He can make all things work for the good for us.
He sees things from the BIG aerial view, whileas we see from a bird eye view's perspective. We always want things to go our way; be it in studies, career, love life and all. Yet God 'spoils' our beautiful image of ideal life and inserts some obstacles along the way; to toughen us up and make us trust Him even more! Never underestimate God, you just dunno what He can do in your life next. He amazes me every single day, letting me live my life in awe for Him always. I Love You!

MSN is Good!
Ok, b4 I start on the post, I just heard this funny sound outside my window. I'm not sure if its a bird or animal or a spoilt kid's toy. It goes something like this,"He He He", repeatedly 3 times at a go, in a witchy high pitched tone, non stop for the past minute till now.... Maybe its a parrot? It literally 'hehe'!
Anyway, I'm thankful that this MSN chat program thing came into the cyberworld. Without it I would not be able to contact frenz on the other side of the country or world, at odd timings of the day. You get to know a brief bit about themselves thru their nick and songs they play while online. You get to chat with them about the old days, retarded memories, 'interesting' and awkward topics that you would never dare to ask face-to-face to anyone else. Some people also ask to go steady via online; as in the guy/girl ask the other party the BIG question thru MSN, instead of asking face-to-face to grasp the romance (OR rejection) and all. Breakups do happen very often too, quarrels and arguments, backstabbing and gossips. What spoilers they are.
Oh, my reason for this MSN topic is bcos I am grateful to those frenz who has been entertaining me online since I became a 'full-time house prisoner' 3 months ago. Of cos this is to those who have rendered lotsa help by giving their opinions and suggestions for my various projects and assignments. They really help me alot =) For the most recent project, thanks to Titus (currently in Sydney, Australia) Janice, Daniel, Han Ping and Zhi Wei for their valuable inputs.
Presentation's in few days time. Still hoping this Saturday I can go Edge. Sunday got lecture from 10am to 5pm! Craps. I'll miss my nursery duty, cannot take pics and play with those cutie babies! Its gonna be a busy lecture week man!
Finally tml is coming! We buddies are gonna hang out together again! I just can't wait! Just remind me to collect the birthday cake and bring the pressie ya ;p
So, Fantastic 4 aint that fantastic after all, 3/5 at most. There's a part 3 coming up for that too. Can't Hollywood just quit making trilogies and quad-logies. Spiderman, Matrix, Lord of the Ring, StarWars, Pirates of the Caribbean etc etc.. What is wrong with you producers and directors, too much nonsense to write on the script is it? Money earn not enough huh? Ok this is so not related to my topic today. Period.
Oh, that 'hehehe' sound has finally stopped. Heehee~

Home Alone
Waking up to a quiet house feels weird for someone like me, who lives in a family of 6. Mama and sister in Malacca enjoying themselves, Papa and brothers out working till night, and I'm all alone at home studying or slacking online. Sounds fun initally ya, the whole house to yourself... After few hours, loneliness creeped in and I started to miss the constant chatter in the house. No washing machine beeping, no taiwanese soap dramas on TV, no usual nagging from Mama, no food ready on the table for me to eat, no wet clothes hanging in my windows to dry etc. Sighs.
Thankfully Simon and Janice are nice people! During the weekend see me in church not enough, yesterday and today still ask me out to makan with them lah. LOL! No lah, I guess they are thinking,"Julia at home alone, so ke lian, we be nice and jio her out makan with us lah!" Hahaha just kidding! Thanks guys, without your company I think I would have rot at home already lor!
What to do, thanks to school assignments then cannot go Malacca for church camp. Finally cleared the dumb tutorials and now left with the Ultimate Powerpoint Presentation to present during next week's lectures. Better pray hard that I can speak fluently and use my pretty smile, topped with 2 sweet dimples, to charm the audience, especially the lecturer ;p she's female though. My nose is still blocked, voice still sexily low. I need to get well asap! Ok enough said, back to the powerpoint.
*Fantastic 4 tml! YAY ^^v*
http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/281735/1/.html
These watersprouts are scaring me quite abit lately, ever since the last one in late May. Maybe its bcos of the nightmare I had last week, about a gigantic watersprout. This is weird. When the Channel5 news showed the footage this evening, my stomach went all queasy for no reason. I keep thinking it will be a tornado or those twisters thing someday. Craps =\

Cheers to me =)
Yi Ru, your prayer worked! I'm almost all recovered from that horrid cold and sneezing. Yeah, my mucus and all was disgusting eh. Haha! At least I'm much better now, din even need to blow my nose today at all =) so happy :D
Thanks to Simon, for 'risking his life' (so as he claimed) to buy back this green bottle of chewing stuff *chews happily while typing on* you are so sweet to buy those pairs of star earrings for me and sis too! Yups, kinda coincide with the pretty starry nites of late ya ;p
Oddly-cut wooden star earrings!
Lastly, I need to rush my tutorials by tonite! My group is so dead. Always so last minute. Craps! Tml my sis and mum going church camp, left me alone at home to survive. No1 to talk to for 5 days. So dreadful. Plus all the other youths going too =( Ok have a safe trip guys! Miss me more ya (doubt so lah, all will be having fun there...) Sleep early lor.
Be A Powerful Encourager for God!
I have not been myself for the past week or so. I din realise that until Thiam Siong told me so, earlier this evening, in the bus back to Tampines. Sighs. The month of May has been an emotional rollercoaster for me, hopefully June will turn out for the better. No idea what's going on right now either. Aimlessly studying and staring at my 4-year-old-laptop everyday.
But still, I thank God for bringing Thiam Siong and Ee Ling into my life. They are great encouragers; words of comfort that touches the soul so deeply, showing concern just when you need it most, pouring out verses that speak love and care. God really knows how to reach out to His people in many different ways, when they need Him most. I pray that everyone will learn to care for each other more since we are in the same BIG kingdom family. I'm still learning too, its not easy man.
Yeah, and I'll smile more beautifully from today onwards =)

Sick -.-||
Down with a crappy cold and lost my sexy voice. Nose leaking like a tap, dry cough, sneezing away and an aching body. Must be the amount of chocolates I ate plus the crazily warm weather this week; body too heaty. I did drink lotsa h2o and sleep like a pig though.
Church camp 1 people are back today, but camp 2 people (which is alot of people going off to Malacca) are going off next week. Left me alone in Singapore to do my stupid tutorials and presentations. Sobs! I'm gonna miss all of you, especially my mama n sister! No1 else to talk to at home now =( Sighs.
Oh great, the sky looks super gloomy now, just when I am about to leave for class soon. Thanks alot eh.

Book of Proverbs = God's Wisdom and Advice Everyday!
The tongue is so small as compared to the other parts of our body, yet it is the most untameable body part. It is so true. It can encourage or discourage people, praise or curse people, speak the truth or gossip and backstab people. Prov 12: 18 "Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing." After all no1 likes to get hurt by words, but indeed be encouraged.
Thank you Alvin and Thiam Siong for hearing me out this morning. I should have gotten used to this long ago, yet its the people who somewhat know me good enough who actually inflicted this kinda hurt on me. I'm fine after a good cry. No point being upset over some silly comments. After all they are just plain ignorant and bo liao, not taking the initiative to clarify their doubts.
Prov 20:22 "Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the Lord, and He'll deliver you." This is 1 piece of wise advice Thiam Siong gave me. I almost fall, if not for this verse. That's how work politics actually start, 1 colleague sabo another, the latter takes revenge by sabo-ing colleague, then it continues on back and forth. I seen my share in working society over the many years.
Yes, gossip and rumors kill relationships unknowingly. Stay away from such people, its really bad influence to the mind and soul. Prov 20:19 "A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much." This is exactly what I feel about those people now. Confidence in them has indeed been shaken and I ensure a good distance away from them from now on.
Our lips were meant to praise the Lord, to sing of His love and grace and mercy, to share with people how great God is, encourage people with kind words etc. As mentioned so many times in Book of Proverbs, it is wise to always hold back your tongue, only the foolish speaks words tainted with fault. God, I need you to help me forgive and forget these ignorant people's actions!
Many many times, I marvel at how God can tahan people like us, we are always hurting Him with our words and actions and yet love us unconditionally time and again; to the extent of sending His Son to die for our insignificant sins. Indeed a father cares for his child always! I love you too, my Heavenly Father!

Animals and the Leows just dun click~
My brother's 2 pet fishes have passed on to Fish Heaven already. I witnessed the 2nd fish's death but yet I dun feel any tinge of sadness. I'm not a heartless or sadistic girl who love to see animals and fishes die, just that it was a sooner-or-later thing the fishes had to go, even when it first arrived in my house's dining room. Nope, we din eat those ugly luo han fish up.
It merely died of malnutrition and lack of oxygen. It was fussy with food, love to bully its fish fren till it suffered from stunted growth, and bit off the latter's tail too. The last I heard of the lil fren, was that it committed suicide when bro was washing the tank. Long story man. Therefore, we have all concluded that pets and our family just dun have the need to love each other. Simply bcos, we dun have time to even entertain and feed ourselves already. We dun really bother to take time to care for lil animals as much as other people do. We tried few times b4 with white mice and all; but till now it has yet to exceed 3 months. Hahaha!
Conclusion: no time to spare to entertain pets in our home = Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ever give us any kinda pets as birthday pressies ya ;)
Alrites, group tutorial due tml night and I know the guys are depending on me to do for them. Sighs. Stupid. On a happier note, its Shrek 3 movie tml evening with the girls and the boy!
