Unfortunately, there were some misunderstandings regarding whether Des'ree's song 'Kissing You' was cleared for release in the United States.
Hank Fasthoff, one of Beyonce's attorneys, said: "First and foremost we'd like to point out that as an artist, Beyonce is not in any way involved in the process of obtaining clearances to re-record and release songs. Obtaining clearances is customarily handled by management, the attorneys and/or the label.
"However, until this clearance situation is resolved, future distributions of the album/DVD in the United States will not include 'Still In Love (Kissing You).'
"The international market is not affected in any way because the song is not included on albums shipped outside of the United States." (Eurweb)
Clipse: 'Music Industry Is Worse Than Drug Dealing'
Rap duo Clipse would rather make a return to drug dealing than make another record because the industry "has no morals".
Brothers Pusha T and Malice, real names Terrence and Gene Thornton, used to sell crack cocaine on the streets of Virginia and use their experiences as inspiration on previous tracks.
Younger brother Pusha T says, "I don't like hip-hop no more and I don't like the music business. No ethics, no code, no morals. It's worse than drug dealing. No one works on principles.
"At least in the crack trade, there's a code of honor. The music business is the worst. You turn into a number as soon as you sign the papers." (Starpulse)

An analysis of Dash's various holdings, which range from fashion to entertainment, turns up more misses than hits.
Dash's CEO clothing line has yet to take off, reality TV show "Ultimate Hustler" aired for one season and bombed in the ratings, and his foray into Hollywood with the movies "State Property" and "The Woodsman" has not produced box office hits, though DVD sales have fared better. Meanwhile, Dash has pulled the plug on his State Property sportswear line and fledgling record label Damon Dash Music Group, according to spokeswoman Amanda Silverman. "Music is not where the money is," she said.
While a line of designer clothing by wife Rachel Roy has garnered critical acclaim, and a higher profile after Roy appeared on "Oprah," it has yet to turn a profit.
Dash's biggest win so far has been Pro-Keds, a sneaker brand he licensed from Stride Rite in 2004 and which, according to industry estimates, has more than doubled sales in the past year to exceed $22 million.
"It's not that easy to hit a home run every time," said Izzy Ezrailson, a friend of Dash's, who operates a chain of specialty stores.
Nevertheless, those who know Dash say they are not counting him out.
"I think he'll come back strong," said Billy Rudnick, of the Dr. Jay's retail chain, which is considering buying the CEO line, but waiting for Dash to make some adjustments, such as shrinking the logos "so they are not so in your face." Other retailers also said they are holding off on carrying the line to see how it evolves.

According to TMZ, Cam'ron is apologizing for his comments on Sunday's "60 Minutes," where he told Anderson Cooper that he wouldn't turn in a serial killer if he were living next door to one.
"Looking back now, I can see how those comments could be viewed as offensive, especially to those who have suffered their own personal tragedies or to those who put their lives on the line to protect our citizens from crime," the rap star said in a statement issued today. "Please understand that I was expressing my own personal frustration at my own personal circumstances. I in no way was intending to be malicious or harmful. I apologize deeply for this error in judgment.
I must say, "Fashion, Fashion, Fashion is my first passion!" My second passion would have to be indulging myself with Pop culture and of course, 'Celebrity gossip.'
