Today over at Double D we are celebrating birthdays. And how opportune, as this is my birthday month!! It's Darlene's birthday month too, so thanks, Darlene, for choosing such a great topic. Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:

As you can see, I was inspired by the lower right photo. And since I have a stamp that almost matches that sign exactly, I had to use it. I had to think about how I was going to get the "sparkle" to be gold for awhile, and then I realized I could stamp the whole thing in black, mask off all the other words, and stamp again with Versamark. Then all I had to do was sprinkle on some gold embossing powder and heat. Voilé, it WORKED!!! I love the black, white and gold, with just a touch of soft pink.
