woo. it has been a super long time since i last blog. now all alone in the office. so i shall do some stuff to work my brain- blog.
a piece of gd news- im officially a
cell group leader starting from july!~ meaning there will be abt 12-15 sec sch ple under my care. all those i learnt in leadership training class can be put to practical use le! being a sheperd is of course not easy, gona take care of all aspects of my sheep, having the heart of a sheperd is something profound, but im up to the challenge yea. being a spiritual leader is very different from just a normal leader. being a norm leader does not need to account personal life to anyone, as long as you get your job done. being a spiritual leader has to be accountable to leaders above me and my members as well.. also having the discernment spirit is something i have to sharpen on. theres things i want to change and discipline in my life so i can be a better leader, or rather a better servant to my members. i think the most impt thg is to always have the right attitude as it is the heart of heart.
sometimes i wonder why is that i become a cell group leader in such a short time. (pastor ck has such a gd spirit discernment that he knows whats on my mind when he prayed for me!) i have been i church for one and a half yr and the first half of the yr i wasnt reli very commited, i dont even belong to a cell grp. also there is no direct discipler above me since bro andrew left. i was lk hanging in the mid air trying to disciple myslf by reading bible n christian books. of course some times i will fall as theres no direct person that i have to account to. (thats y i thk accountability is very impt in life. it guards your mind, soul and spirit) when pastor ck prayed for me ytd, i felt that God was talkin to me directly tru him. God has put into me the spirit of maturity even way before im a christian! since young, i like to thk n rationalise n observe myslf. im actually very independent, tho kl always say im just a ger who onli knows how to whine!~ anw yep, even tho theres alot of things i have to learn such as leading praise n worship.. learn how to do admin usin the church system.. communicating with one bunch of youngsters i totally not know.. blablabla.. but i believe as i begin to take up the responsibility, empowerment of God will come! =) thank God for making a mature huijuan! i'll utilise this gift to serve my members. =)
becoming a cgl meaning i got 1 more thg to cope n adapt to. there is so many changes to my current life.. i guess i got to work out a timetable n plan my thgs well to prevent myself getting physically, mentally n spiritually burn out. 1. being a cgl. 2. going to uni soon. 3. kl in ocs. 4. going to get a part time job or some tuition assignment. my 19th year on earth is a year of major changes. i prayed that all transition will be fall into their places smoothly.
he is alway in ocs.. meaning i wun be seeing him for 3 weeks!~ seems lk the separation period is getting longer n longer. we will get to see each other lesser n lesser.. i'll try to be more encouraging n more supportive n less complain-ful k. we need each others encouragement in times lk this. looking forward to your book out dae so we can
celebrate my burfdae tgt! =) im expecting a ********** =p
oh im takin my QET on 21 jul! time to dig out my gp notes n start reading newspapers.. backed to those days..
