Aussie Life

I kinda got to ride in this awesome yellow beetle car when I went for dinner with my cell group after church.

Other awesome cars I rode in:

*Sean's BMW - I prefer sitting in front! Because of the different directions of the straps! And he always says I "didn't eat rice" cos I usually take a few tries to slam his car door shut properly.. (Cos I'm a gentle person by nature... Hey! Stop laughing! I am gentle!)

*LiWen's car - I think I accidentally got rain water all over the inside of it while trying to tame my umbrella.. oops?!


Cell group. First time I have attended one with people in my age group. They are really friendly, welcoming & nice. PLUS, they feed me! YAY!!


Though.. I kinda have to admit, I do miss my friends back in Singapore.. a little.


Life in Aussie, though relaxing & pretty nice, I find that the comforts of home have always been kind of taken for granted. Having to cook every day, go grocery shopping, be independent. It's fun.. For the first 2 months. After that, it kinda gets a little boring.

One thing I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about bribane's supermarkets - most things are processed already.

What does this mean?

They sell the following:

- Chicken breasts, chicken thighs, chicken wings, chicken drumlets - with skins & bones / deskinned & deboned.

-Prawns - raw / peeled & deveined / peeled, deveined & marinated / peeled, deveined, marinated & cooked

Stuff like this, perfect for lazy people.. like me =p

I love Kmart, coles & woolworths! (Smth like NTUC, but better =p)

It's been a really fun time so far, but exams are coming soon.. So I guess I gotta study ~

I remember seeing this at Funan!

Costs close to $50. Didn't bother seeing if I could bargain.

If my memory serves, it is $80 or somewhere around there. Talk about EXPENSIVE.

And yes, I'm a scrooge. But CUTE.

The white and pink one looks sweet, too sweet for me. (And white gets dirty easily)

Probably will look through eBay for the black one XD
(I wonder if it is too large for my head though =X)

OMG. Finally found on eBay.
Black fur one costs USD 59.99.
Apparently there are 2 types of this black fur. 1 has fur on the ears section too! The other has fur at the top only.
Is my taste expensive or what? XD

Shocking news.

She told me the truth today.

I was adopted.

Really wasn't expecting it.

Just a few days ago, when I asked an aunt, she said that I was not adopted at all and not to think of such silly things.

Now I know better.

It feels like the walls just came crashing down all of a sudden.

I don't know what to think, how to react as normal.

I will try my best though.

It is gonna be hard.

Way to go for a 21st B'day gift.

And in case anyone reading this is wondering:
No. I am not joking. April Fools Day is long over and I don't play such pranks on people. I'm serious.

I wish I wasn't though, and that this was all a dream. One that I would wake up from soon, and laugh over.

I doubt so.

Here is my checklist(for the week):

1. Audit E-learning - Virtual World Inventory Checking Excercise + Tutorial style Qns. (Took me super long!! GRAHHHHH!!)
2. Biz Comm - Discussion Board Posting on dramatization when making sales calls. (Anyhow do de XD )
3. Biz Comm - Write a sales scenario of yourself as a middle management lvl staff selling to another corporation. (2 pages I think? =x)
4. Tax - Lecture Slides + Quiz (My fren sent me the ans XD)
5. MA1 - E-learning posting on Budgetary slack & Goal Congruence. (wrote 3/4 page only XD)
6. MA1 - Books Really Limited ( Cash Budget) (spent like.. 40 hrs doing this.. with links between 8 excel tabs =x)
7. AFA - Lecture slides + Quiz (My fren sent me the ans XD)
8. WISP - Discussion board Postings (I wrote 6 pages long *faints*)
9. WISP - Discrimination Essay (I wrote 8 pages.. *dies*)
10. EEP - PPT - A company that has saved the environment and cut costs at the same time.
11. EEP - Report - How NP can cut down on energy / smth similar.
12. CLAW - Wiki (wntire tutorial) (Did it in pictorial form with macromedia fireworks.. HAHA) 
13. CLAW - Lecture slides + Quiz (My fren sent me the ans XD)
