Today, i had the first ever teachers' day celebrations in VJC. I have to admit it is so much better than VS's celebrations. At least you get entertained by the teachers as well! haha. not to mention teachers dressed as getai singers as shown below!! (oh yes it's gross, but it's super hilarious")
teachers' day this year was quite different for me though. strangely i did not give my teachers anything or make anything for them like i always did for my teachers. Like the cups below were made for my VS teachers last year! haha. surprisingly, many other people did so too. We're just not close to our teachers here in JC. We feel distanced.
After that, i went back to VS to meet my good old teachers and ex-classmates. I have to say all of us haven't really changed a lot. As usual, we suaned each other and stuffs like that. I think de cruz kenaed the most because the whole world knows about him and *ahem*. Hahaha. Dont worry twin jon, i think you already gotten used to the suanings. I met my dearest friends who went to RJC back there at VS. I really like the warm feeling i got!
(me and jacob)After hanging around VS, i went for lunch with my dearest ex-classmates and we chanced upon a teacher's car as shown below. Our juniors certainly have a very eccentric way of expressing their thanks and gratitude to their teachers. Poor teacher who owns that car. haha!
After which, i joined jacob and shengwei and we watched evan almighty. It's a lousy show so don't bother watching it. It was a really good time of catching up, as we had not seen each other for some time ever since we parted ways. I'm glad they're doing relatively well at RJC compared to us in VJC. And soon, my day out was over.
And i'm resigned to the fact i have to study for my promos, lest i bear the full consequences of not putting in enough effort.

Donuts, donuts and more donuts. The latest food craze that has hit Singapore. Donut shops and more donut shops have been popping out. So much to my delight. I have been a long supporter of the donut race and such a craze has indeed set my taste buds ablaze. My favourite so far are munchy donuts are near school at tanjong katong road. i never fail to grab one or two on the way back on a weekly basis. My favourite flavours are oreo and green tea!! :D And i really love buying donuts from there because.. you don't really need to queue and the donuts taste just as nice or better.
And now i shall pamper you people with PHOTOS OF DONUTS AND MORE DONUTS !!
HAHA. so are you feeling hungry now? the temptation is really so strong isn't it??
If only Singapore had krispy kreme donuts!! the best donuts in the world!! my sister was supposed to buy them back from london but she forgot.... ahh.. Furthermore, you don't need to queue for 3hours just to buy it!! :D
Alright, i shall end this happy post here and retreat back into my donut world.. Hope this post made this blog more lively and less dull!

tuesday is also the longest day in school. and my exam is like at 4.40pm at parkway.. ahhhh.
i regret not practising enough earlier due to commitments to CCA and studies and pure laziness..

tonight was one of the most fun nights i had in my vjc-life! haha. all thanks to anthea and dominic!
before that, i rushed down to ngee ann city to catch the taka open floorball carnival. i think the girls team who played did a really good job today! they advanced quite far into the quarter finals but lost, sadly. but i felt it was a very good achievement for them! i hope after this competition that they will have more confidence in themselves and know that they have the capability to win their competition next year, despite facing all odds. i think sports is not just a matter of skill and physical abilities, but also how much confidence one has in him/herself. something i myself must really have as well.
after that i rushed down to school to catch all the people in school supporting keely in the campus superstar thingy. i was initially abit disappointed as i thought today might be a good day for the cca to bond but it turned out otherwise and most people dispersed. i have to say that i dont really notice keely and stuff in school, in fact i haven't really seen her before in school, but i saw how the vjc students all came together as one and really supported her.
the school spirit and unity was so strong i tell you. i really love vjc so much.... in fact i supported her by sending two sms-es okay! i know it's very little, but im not the sort that actually particippates in the voting kind of person. one for the first round and another when i knew that we would get a full-day if she wins.
so i stuck around with dominic, anthea and her friend. during the boring parts of the show we sneakily sneaked into LT1 and we had much fun having the whole LT to ourselves, seeing how dom lip-syncs and playing with the microphone and all.
then we went out and started being enthu and all, shouting "FULL DAY FULL DAY FULL DAY!" instead of cheering for her. =X oops... okay, i did cheer for her okay! ABIT. haha. and yes, so she went up did the school proud and won the girls category, but unfortunately lost the overall. anyway really proud of her for making vj more known to the world. in the end... mr chan gave us A FULL DAY OFF.. WAHAHAHA. my sms-es didn't go to waste afterall.
i tell you the whole school spirit thing was SO COOL OKAY? but maybe not as much as in VS, but still a lot a lot! i really felt quite sad for my friends who couldn't make it. the best was the last part when even though we lost we lifted our heads high and sang the school song loud with gusto when the band brought all their instruments and played the school song. it was CLASSIC. the way the band played and got everything going. it was followed by the usual cheers and all. if only they filmed us singing the school song and all.
after everything was over, i went back with anthea and dom. we had a good time chatting on the way back. ahhh. lovely people. i really thank God for placing such wonderful friends like them in my life. :)
oh yeah, i forgot to put the memory card in my cam so i couldn't take photos today. hence the lack of visual devices to complement a long, wordy entry.

okay, finally an update. on friday i had the best photographic experience of my life. i was suited at a very good spot to take the fireworks, which was the large field opposite the floating platform. i went there with kelly around 7 and managed to get a place at the front with an unobstructed view. thanks a lot for accompanying me! haha i shall dedicate these photos to you. a while later, jingxuan and joe decided to join us.
2 hours+ of waiting was certainly worthwhile. the fireworks were really very very amazing and dazzling. the photos alone cannot justify the beauty of them. it's really experiencing it upclose, hearing the echoes and all that completes the fireworks experience.
so without further delay, here are the photos.. i've added a watermark to the photos for image protection reasons. i doubt that helps much though. there are many more photos in my computer, but i've decided to post only the nicest ones. hope you like them..
oh yeah, please do not post these photos elsewhere.. thanks a lot. i might consider posting the really horrible photos of last night's fireworks another time.. haha. there isn't much posting too..

tommorrow is... fireworks festival!
haha. can't wait to go shoot photos of it.
i REALLY REALLY hope i can get a good spot to shoot it.
you know, i've been so so so looking forward to the fireworks festival.. and wait, did i mention that i actually dreamt of myself shooting the fireworks a few nights back. oh my. i must be getting obessive.
it must be all the inspiration i get from the photos online!
i really really hope it will not be a wasted trip. haha. shooting fireworks is indeed difficult. very very difficult, because you also need luck and all..
on a totally different note,
i can't believe i'm like so desperately practising my piano everyday. i'm really really very anxious over my piano exams. i mean i do not want to fail my exam and waste my many months and years of effort just because i didn't put in much effort initially. i'm so desperate that i actually practised non-stop for 1.5hours despite me coming home so late. i was so so tired but i couldnt't stop just like that..
promos are coming soon too. and i'm like so lost in my studies. i really pray hard that i can promote.... in peace.. i really dont know a lot of my work and then again everyone's like quite busy preparing so i never realy ask for help.. =\ ahhh. God please help me...

btw, i deleted some of the posts. that was all in the past already.. :D i would really like to thank the people who stood by me all these while. and yes, i rather be happy and all than to be depressed. haha. sorry if i gave some people a scare, because it was so not me.
so no more abstract, deep posts that ponder about life anymore. haha! not good for my health.

when will i find my answers..
bahhh.. i need some chocolates..
chocolates and ice cream serve a special purpose for me you know! haha. whenever i say i want to eat them right.. got reason one!!
anyway. i really need my magical fingers back.. ahh. my piano exam is coming so so soon. and i cant play very well nowadays.
i love my piano, i love my music but but i've just lost touch ever since the start of the year due to many reasons.

today, was initially a very bad day for me. i was so so so bored at home. that's because i got stuck at home on both days which were holidays. even my sister was so surprised i was home.
thankfully, anthea and dom were free and we decided to go see the fireworks!
haha i can say it was one of the most fun days in a long long long while. it was really fun hanging out with them. how we were so shocked to see the whole area so crowded and how we had a time limit to find a suitable place while we explored everywhere to ulu corridors to staircases that led to nowhere to a high-class private room in meritus mandarin hotel to finally the roof of marina square where the fireworks were half blocked by a building. awww.
sadly, i didnt managed to get those nice nice shots, but it's okay! because the experience was totally worth it all. :D i still have next week to shoot fireworks.
after that, we went to find dom's gift for liwei and we hung out at this funky restaurant.
