oh my.
i did the craziest thing ever.
that crazy idea just hit me and i actually did it.
i actually changed from my pe kit to my school uniform on the double-deck 76 bus.
LOL.
okay fine, only the top half. i wore over the bottom.
luckily nobody saw =\
today was super funny lah during chemistry lecture.
i asked JJ to sit beside me and he was SO SO FUNNY. he kept talking sooooo loud in the lecture until everyone within a 3seats radius got quite pissed but he was still oblivious to them. haha. somemore is say those -.-" stuff one.
LOL.
he hasn't changed since VS days.
but i think i was quite bad because i kept laughing at him. at his actions. because he didn't know he was creating a big hooha.

OH YES!
guess what?
jt finally got a DSLR after 6months of WAITING.
ahhh.. i'm quite happy..
BUT.. it's silver colour!! no more black colour. :(
I got a nikon D50 kit for $799. it was a rip-off from the usual $1200++ that's why my dad asked me to buy it yesterday instead of buying it on my results day. i really really have to thank God for reserving this set for me as there were limited stock. And it's like selling at cost price. now i have more money to buy lens and accessories and all. :D
and the first place i went for a photo shoot today was.......... LITTLE INDIA.. wahahaha. of all places. anyway, the DSLR really rocks lah. the picture quality is like soooooooo good.

Oh my. i just watched Pan's Labyrinth.
It's a very dark fantasy movie.
It's a pity i couldn't appreciate the film despite it receving good reviews everywhere.
BUT.
i found out something.
that is, i really have a problem with gory stuff.
oh my goodness.
i nearly fainted in the movie where they showed the part where the woman ripped the guy's cheek apart with the knife. My head was in a mess and i was feeling super drowsy and having the strong fainting feeling. Luckily, i controlled my thoughts.
AHHH. reminds me of the time when i fainted at home before my SS O's paper when i read a gory article.
oh my oh my. how how how.
i need to overcome it somehow.
i think if i ever watch a movie like "saw" i'll be so dead lah. i would be like fainting here and there. just kidding.

i really love drafting these few days and i think i'm going to continue doing so.

So many things have been happening in my life these few days.
Sunday 7/1/07
i had a super nice talk with my sister. oh my, now we can talk really well with each other. omg. i'm like so so happy. my dream came true - that i can talk to my sister like a friend. we talked quite openly and stuffs like that. Wow. there were so much to talk about, since she was from vjc too. then we talked alot of stuff about vjc. being a "concerned" sister, she had to question me about girls, and our conversation somehow led to this...
angela : so how are the girls in VJC??
me : they ___ __________ to me, sorry
angela: dont worry lah, they'll _______ one..
me : they _______ ____ __ ___..
*both of us bursts out into laughter*
LOL. I was JUST KIDDING by the way. I was just being mean and trying to make my sister laugh. Oh my. I better not let any vjc girl see this or i'll become public enemy no.1 in vjc.
Monday 8/1/07
Today is the SEA SPORTS CARNIVAL DAY, at east coast park. The supposedly last day of the orientation. It was FUN FUN FUN and MORE FUN. I had to represent my OG and run this biathlon with another person as a two-person thing. And i had to do the paddling the sail thingy for 100m before i had to run my 4.5km. LOL. imagine not running for 4months and now i had to run in my drenched clothes. drenched in saltwater in fact. ahh. it was amazing how i managed to complete the race without stopping, but we still got 5th...(out of 6.. LOL). now because of that race my leg muscles are aching like mad lah.. somemore there's floorball trials tommorrow.. hopefully i do well for it..
Basically, the whole event was made fun with the dunking of people into the sea. Everyone got dunked like MANY MANY times. Oh my. Thankfully i rushed back to school to bathe fast.
After that, i went back to VS to accompany winston who wanted to bathe there (due to lack of toilets in vj) and to find my teachers. GUESS WHO I MET? ZHANG JIA WEI. WAHAHAHA. He was in the heritage centre with mr khoo. he was exactly the person i wanted to meet. That's because after much trouble and luck, i managed to find out who jing x__n, the mystery scgs girl linked to him that everyone had been so curious about for a year, was in vjc. Actually de'cruz and desmond found her before me. oh my. jiawei you're so dead now. But the three of us havent go "confront" that person about jiawei yet. so you're still alive. poor jiawei isn't enjoying himself at sajc, he was like saying SA "rocks". super funny la he.. i thought SA seemed fun. oh well, hope you can come to vjc. then after that we went to meet our teachers, before i went back to vjc and hang out with my OG.
At night was VJC's famous suntec city mass dance. Oh yeah man. All of us literally went crazy over at the fountain of wealth. It was SUPER DUPER FUN. But it also meant facing reality and that orientation's over and lectures are in. Ahh well. Orientation was fun, seriously fun (minus the first day).
I really saw how my VS friends changed during the orientation. Starting so shy, then now they're like so comfortable in the presence of the female gender, without sparing the occasional physical contact (if you understand what im getting at). Oh well, i expected all these to happen already, well at least im still not that comfortable or close physically to them. Many people asked me why i was like that, so shy and suffering from "10years boys school syndrome" but sure i had my reasons. Being in boys school for 10years isn't the main contributrary factor if you were wondering.

Lectures started. And they're.... BORING.. I'm so not the lecture type of person. I better get used to it soon. I come out of every lecture BLUR, i mean really BLUR. hahaha. the worst was chem lecture. the teacher was funny and interesting, but it's CHEMISTRY. it's super difficult, ahh, i was like suffering in there trying to make the most sense out of what was being taught. ahhh, i seriously regretted taking chem. but i can't take bio either, although i wished i could. even i couldn't make much out of maths lecture.
My chinese class wasn't too bad. THANKFULLY. There're only 3 people from my class taking chinese, while the rest all had A1 according to the list. "Thanks" alot. haha. China scholar class what. There're quite a number of people i know in there. so it's not too bad.
In the afternoon, jake, shengwei and john crashed vjc. it was quite a surprise! they went to walk walk and play pool at the student's lounge. super cool can, the students lounge. it feels so cosy and all. okok. i better stop. later people get jealous of VJC. HAHAHA. just kidding.
but..
VJC REALLY ROCKS LAH. I really hope i dont get kicked out of vjc or i'll be super sad/loser.
OKAY, if you have read everything, CONGRATS for making it so far. I shall stop and not bore you futher. :):):)

Orientation's over. It was nice making friends with the guys in the OG. Most of the people in the OG came from single-sex school so we mostly kept boys to boys and girls to girls. Me and this SJI guy kept sticking together and avoiding the girls in a way, until my OG leader come "scold" me for not mixing around with the opposite gender. LOL. Sorry ah, I shy.
I'm sorry, but I'm not feeling nostalgic, contrary to popular belief of the OGLs. I have other stuff that is bothering me more.
Today, I got to find out my classmates. And oh boy, I really feel like changing class or my subject combination.
No VS people in my class at all, while some classes had 7 VS people.
No OG people in my class as well.
That leaves me not knowing anybody in class, and that never happened before.
In addition, half the class are China scholars. OMG OMG OMG. A nightmare for me. OMG OMG OMG. No life sia. I can't even speak chinese properly, how to talk to them. Nevermind, then at least I can be quiet in class etc. But I'll still be noisy with VS people or other people. Oh my. I seriously doubt I'll have much fun the next 2 years. I'm starting to dislike going to school now. I think my class is the quite boring nerds type. Ahh. Nevermind, that's what I thought too when i first entered 3F.
Monday will be the last fun day I guess. The sea sports carnival and the Suntec thingy. After that, I hope my CCA people will be fun, so JC life won't be so horrible afterall due to MANY MANY reasons. Ahh. I shall not think any further.
Cheers cheers cheers. I meant CHEERING kind of cheers by the way. I've never been made to cheer so many cheers before, but doing so doesn't make me any more cheerful. Now I know why they called VJC the cheering school. I think we would have easily cheered a 100times these 3 days. And I'm not exaggerating. Oh my, now the VJC cheers are ringing in my mind. Give me a V-V-I-I-C-C-T-T-O-O-R-R-I-I-A-A...blah blah blah. Actually those are copied from the VS cheers so it's nothing new.
Okay, I'll try to be more optimistic about things from now on. (*note I used the word "try")

Today didn't start well for me.
FIRST, i woke up only to find out my mom accidentally threw away my favourite pair of shoes - my orange asics shoes that I wore for two years. I was like "OMG". I was really mad. That's like my most favourite shoe and I still wanted to wear it and it's now GONE. Now I'm only left with one pair of sports shoes. Oh man, that's so arghh. But WHY? Why has it got to be that shoe?!?!!! It's so meaningful and sentimental to me, so many happy moments lived through with that shoe. Oh man. You must think I'm really crazy being so upset over a shoe. Even if you gave me a new pair today I wouldn't want it. Nevermind, I'll need time to get over it.
SECONDLY, i broke my favourite pair of glasses (my current pair). The thingy to support the glasses broke off. Argh! That just had to happen in the morning. In the end I had a really hard time throughout all the games and stuffs like that for the whole day. But still, my nice pair of glasses leh. SO arghh.
It's two favourites down for jt.
Nevermind, at least orientation wasn't too bad today. This year hasn't really started in a very pleasant manner for me. Nevermind, life's like that.
Okay, maybe this year hasn't started out so bad yet. I realised floorball CCA just started this year! And yes, i signed up for the trials thingy. I also signed up for 2 other CCAs - piano ensemble and photographic society. I'll make my choice after "sampling" around. Most probably I'll join 2 CCAs since they don't consume much time. Like only 2hours per week each? Unless if I join piano ensemble and have to practise for a mini concert. But i doubt so. I see which one more fun.

First day at VJC - a freshman I was.
I could say that I was bored most of the time throughout orientation day1, I just do not feel compelled to go school anymore. It's like I've lost this joy of going to school. I guess it's really the environment. I mean, seeing girls in school after being in a boys school for 10years IS a big cultural shock. For the first time, I had to go to a toilet and change. -.-" It's really WEIRD. People say guys from 10years boys school go JC sure get attrated to the girls etc, thankfully it's not happening in such a manner for me.
Today wasn't a very pleasant day. I really really want to get over and done with this whole orientation thing and get on to serious work. Thankfully mass dance wasn't as bad as I expected after learning the "avoiding" techniques. But I think my whole avoiding thingy was quite obvious because my OG leader ended up messaging me this "You ah. Please start mixing with the girls and scream you lungs out ok. You don't think i don't know" Oh my. Nevermind lah, I also not very interested in making friends. LOL.
And one thing - VJC people are really super enthu. Ahh... That is so not me. They cheer non-stop at every single thing and like woah.. I admit I'm not the enthu type.. But nothing beats the original VS cheers, the school spirit and all at that time. Ahh.. I really don't want to cheer anymore, I dont wanna do lame dances, I wanna be a boring nerd. I'm sorry to the orientation people, but it's really not my cup of tea.
Okay, enough of my whining. I just have to get on with life. I know i won't be enjoying JC life a lot, but nevermind, I'll have to live with it. Perhaps I would take back my words. I don't know. I really hope I can find new friends whom I can really trust and all, especially after being seperated from my close friends. At least I have quite many friends here in VJC.
And oh yes, first day of school and I already realised there is another Jonathan Tan in school!!! Well, actually I know who he was since sec2 as he was from track and field and was known as the act cool guy from ngee ann. LOL. He appealed in through long dist running according to jonathan de'cruz. Every school I go sure got jonathan tans, confirm will have mix-ups as usual. Just kidding.
Oh yes, mrs chan is no longer the principal, ahhh. Wasted. Now got new principal who doesn't seem as fun.
