Summer

So basically this post is just to show you pictures I have taken over the summer. We have done so many things it is hard to post about them all. So basically this is from now back to whenever. :)

Up at the Ranch. We have our trailer parked right by this and it's one amazing view looking the other way!

Carter loves his bubble baths! I can already tell this kid is going to love the water!

Carter loves to swing! He cried when I took him out.
Going to church!
 Fathers day!
 All the grand kids.

I had to put this picture in just to show how big I was days before Carter came. I miss being pregnant but not this big.

4th of July

We spent our fourth of July doing lots of different things. First we were able to ride in the Plain City parade on the Search and Rescue airboat. My father in-law is part of the search and rescue and so we all get to ride in the parade. Carter looked so cute in his Little American shirt. Then we went over to the North Ogden parade. That was fun but I think it lasted a little long. We were off to the pool again. We went to by Brother in-laws grandparents house and swam and had a BBQ. They were so nice to let us come over and hang out with them for the day. We came home took a nap and then headed to the fireworks at Fremont High School. They were really good but I think they started with he grand finale because at the end we kept asking if that was it. And the beginning was pretty amazing. I love having Carter with us. It is so much fun to see him explore new things.
Travis and Carter on the airboat getting ready for the parade to start.
The whole clan on the airboat during the parade.
Carter was watching the North Ogden  Parade.

Right before the fireworks at Fremont. Carter started to fall asleep but woke up to all the noise. Then after that he was so mesmerized by all the fireworks. Also before those started we had some small fireworks that we lit. Jess was holding Carter and the smoke started to come to them, so she went to shield his eyes and he kept moving his head around her hands because he wanted to watch the fireworks. It was so cute, he was getting so mad at her blocking his sight.

The Zoo

We went to the zoo a couple Saturdays ago. We went with my mom and dad, my brother, his wife, and their little girl. It was so much fun! The kids really didn't know what was going on. They would spot some animals but most of the time Carter was more fascinated by the railing then the animals. I can't wait for him to get bigger and know what is going on. He already loves animals and the zoo will be a great place to take him. Travis and my dad got to experience one of the funniest things that day. I am so mad that I missed it! During the bird show they had this couple come down to take pictures. They told them the birds would be coming right at them and it would make great pictures. Well they let the doves go and like the guy said they came right at them. Well there was a big pond right behind the girl where another bird was swimming earlier in the show. The lady got so scared she backed up right into the pond and submerged her whole body. That kind of thing is something you only see on TV and I can't believe I missed it! I can't wait for many more zoo trips!

Carter was about the size of a baby gorilla!

Camille looked so cute in her little outfit! She was almost as big as the baby gorilla.
The cool dinosaurs at the zoo.

We let carter pick between two toys. He kept grabbing for both but by the end he picked this one. He loves this toy! It makes noise and every time it does he gets so happy.
                                                            Camille riding the giraffe.
I love this picture of Carter! He loved to ride the tiger!
I think Carter has a long way to go before he can have a hand as big as a gorilla.

Summer time = Pool time

I have decided I need to start blogging a lot more. There are so many things to blog about now. Carter is getting so big! He is now 6 months old and has such a fun personality! We have been really busy trying to spend as much time together. We have now been to the pool 3 times and he has so much fun. At first he doesn't like the cold water but he gets used to it and then loves every second of it. This is a picture of him in his swim wear. He is getting so big! He is such an amazing baby and I love him so much. This is just the start of many more blogs to come! I am going to try to keep up to date on things. I know I have said that many times before but this time I really am. I want to look back and kinda keep an online journal so I can remember things.
