Monday

You know Mondays seem totally blah and no good. Like I kinda wanna skip them most of the time. But today after coming home from a really fun and tiring weekend trip I decided Mondays are perfect days. They're a day to start over. Start fresh. Try things again, a better way. Today was by means perfect or put together in any way, what so ever. But we can now get back into a groove the weekends seem to throw off and try a new week in for size!

And Tanner got to order his new iPhone 6.  So that makes Mondays pretty awesome :)

On the road day 1

Today we began our 3 day move to Florida. Today we drove from our sweet little Starr Street house through Iowa and down through Missouri. We stopped in Kansas City for some lunch and to stretch our legs a bit. 

We were so sad to leave Nebraska and all the people we've come to love so much. But we are really excited for what's to come !

Our drive today was pretty fun actually. Our stop in KC was great. We stopped at the plaza and ate lunch next to a big ole' fountain which Liam loved. I caught him throwing his chicken strips in the fountain, but all he kept saying was something about ducks. When he grabbed the entire basket of bread I realized he wanted to feed the ducks like we did at the zoo last week. Only problem: no ducks. He was a little hard to convince, but he decided that penny's were just as good. 

It was a fun day and everyone was pretty happy in the car. So cheers to at least one good day on the road and hoping for more. 

Tomorrow is Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee!

Thinking about Oklahoma today. I'm so sad watching the news and seeing all the devastation. I do know that even with all the sad things in the world our Heavenly Father is there to lift and comfort. I'm grateful for that knowledge and the blessings I enjoy.
