When I read the title to a A Dolls House, I had no idea that it would be the way it was. I expected it to be a secret about infidelity instead of money. The characters seemed to be the complete opposite of what I expected. For example, I expected Nora to be a cold hearted, witty woman, instead, she is a hysterical laugher a day cryer, Also, I expect Helmer ta be a lovestruck romantic towadinner Nora, but instead, he is a control freak over Nora, making her wear ridiculous clothes, telling her what to eat and what not to eat, and also calling her a scatterbrain. If I were Nora, I would not tolerate him behaving at all.

Also the characters seem like they are all hiding a secret, but they all can't tell or their lives will be ruined. When Dr. Rank had explained about his excruciating pain, I had noticed that Nora was being dirt, even though she has a husband! I suppose I was right then be bexcuse when she showed him her panty hose he was attracted and so was he. She is an infidel

My name is Jennifer Suazo. I'm in Mrs. Santos' period seven English II class. Even though English is probably one of my least favorite subjects, I still enjoy it in a "love-hate" kind of way. In my opinion, my favorite part about English class is that we read viewpoints of many diverse individuals. We see opinions from the rich, the poor, the hurt, the happy, etc. We have not yet read a play so far (I think) so I'm excited to see what A Dolls House has in store. The author Henrik Ibsen, the playwright who was born in Norway in the year of 1828 and was exiled 40 years later to Italy.
He was the child of five, living in a small, coastal city. He inherited his artistic interest from his mother, who played the piano, was a painter, and a theatre fanatic. When he was fifteen, he stopped school to work, and by the age of twenty, his writing career had started. Back to the play A Dolls House, I predict that the play will be about a woman who feels as though she is playing with a dollhouse, controlling everyone's feelings around there based on the title. As though her friends, family, and lovers are the dolls, and she is the player, controlling their every move and thought.
