Last Friday, at Tangles Salon my hair had a makeover. No more frizz, goodbye flat iron and especially no more getting ready for an hour. My beautician, Annie O'Connor did an amazing job. It took four hours, but well worth the money and time for a lifetime of beautiful straight hair.
I'm ready for my makeover!!
Annie is applying the chemical that makes this whole process happen. She is using the number one product for Japanese Straightening called Liscio.
Under the heater I go and then a rinse.
Annie blowdrying my hair and flat ironing every piece of hair. This is the part that took forever!!
Tada!! Doesn't it look amazing!! Well, I thought I was done, but then came the neutralizer.
All gooey again, a rinse and a blow-dry and I was done!!
Amazing!! No more frizz! Beautiful.

Cooking with Pioneer Woman
Thanks to Jessica and Emily, I decided to work on my cooking skills. I am a pro at heating things up in a microwave and decided to give it a break. I have embarked this road before and have always struggled with recipes that call for nonsense ingredients that you will never use again. Jessica told me that I should plan out my meals for the week so that I don’t get discouraged or overwhelmed which was a great idea and worked perfectly!! Ok, so now what to cook?? Emily blogged about Pioneer Woman and her cooking was simple and looked amazing!! So here are some of my accomplishments in the kitchen and of course Josh was there to help me.
Tomato-Basil Pizza. It looked so good that we took a bite before the picture!Blueberry Pie. My first attempt of baking a pie from scratch! (frozen dough of course)
The night ended perfectly with Utah's first snow fall!!
Here is the website if anyone is interested. http://thepioneerwoman.com/

Weezer
On Tuesday night, we went to see Weezer at the ECenter. Thanks to Josh's hard work at the Bees! Larry H Miller is a big client of Ticket Master and we got 2 suite tickets!! It was amazing! We met so many people and had a blast! Weezer had two opening acts. Former Blink-182 guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, Angels of Airwaves and a Canadian indie rock band Tokyo Police Club. Tokyo Police Club was boring. They didn’t move or try to get the crowd riled up. They just stood still and sung. Their music was alright, but Angels of Airwaves were amazing!! As we were walking out, we saw our friend Janelle with her roommate. We weren’t surprise to see her because she is a big Weezer fan. It was funny that we saw each other from the thousands of people who were there!
In the suite, holding our Weezer tickets! Josh is growing a beard for 30 days. One of his things to do before he dies. Silly, but I love him!!Josh relaxing before the show starts.
Tokyo Police Club and the safety stairs. I thought those lights were pretty.
Angels of Airwaves
Getting ready for Weezer!
Weezer in white jump suits! There was a guy in a wheelchair crowd surfing.
The crowd going crazy! There was also a small trampoline on stage and they would play, sing and jump from it. It was awesome! They also changed into red jump suits!
Us rocking out!Weezer and Utah musicians! There was a ten year old girl playing the guitar, people playing the cello, trumpet, tuba, flute, accordion, etc. They all got to sing with Weezer on stage to Island In The Sun. We were so jealous!!

The encore!
