A Little Update
Summer is over and we are both back in school studying at the University of Utah. Josh is studying business and is enjoying his classes very much and I am almost done! Next fall will be my last year! I am still working part-time for the Salt Lake School District and Josh is still working for the Salt Lake Bees and this year he also gets to sell Jazz tickets and other events from the Arena, which is different. Also, Josh's parents Kent and Teri came to visit!! We love it when they come. We miss them so much. One day, hopefully next year we will be the ones visiting them in Maui! Josh had an emergency surgery this year, which took most of his vacations days, plus we went to CT not realizing how little vacation days he had left! (Sorry, Kent and Teri) We also had a girl’s night out and went shopping!! I got some of our first Halloween decorations from Tai Pan Trading with the help of Teri, Stacy and Jessica and we just love them!

Mesquite, NV
We took a last minute vacation during Labor Day weekend. We stayed at the Falcon Ridge Hotel. It’s only two years old, very clean, relaxing, includes breakfast and they allowed Cloe to come.
Josh is making our reservation. Can you tell he is excited? I caught him off guard with the camera. Cloe and I enjoying our four hour ride for some relaxation!
We saw a huge dust devil.
Beautiful Utah!
It started to rain! It was so hard to see.
We finally arrived and our faces lit up when we saw, Palm Trees! We miss Maui!
Falcon Ridge Hotel
The hotel was located on top of a hill that over looked the whole valley of Mesquite.
Us being silly, playing in the hallway, swimming & more playing!

Salt Lake Bees

"They Tease." The Bees started their season with the best record in Minor League history, going 33 for 36. The LAA Angels saw this and started calling up players. "They Flirt." It was smooth sailing from April to August and we were first place in the Pacific North Division of the PCL. "They Start to Slide." In August we had a 15 game lead and comming out, we had a 3 1/2 game lead. "Careful Kid, they'll break your heart." After getting into the Pacific League playoffs for the third straight year and winning the first game in a five game series, we stumble and fall. We set a PCL record: 16 homeruns allowed, the most in history. Thanks to everyone who joined us for a few good games! We will be back next year, for another great season.

Swimming @ Liberty Park
Saturday morning, we woke up early to take Cloe swimming. Liberty Park opened their gates for dogs! We saw a flyer for it at the dog park on the corner of 700 East 1300 South. We were so excited to teach Cloe how to swim. Her first experience wasn’t a very pleasant one at Tanner Park. We went on our usual hike with her and she almost drowned in the river, but this time we were prepared and bought her a lifejacket. She did such a good job!
