Every weekday morning, while everyone's rushing to office, I thread towards the opposite direction from them all.
The feeling's so different, looking at them packing themselves in the train, rushing out and up the escalator. Rush hour...

Bidding farewell to weekends...
Soon... very soon, I shall be bidding farewell to weekends.
Is that going to be the end of work-life balance? Meeting friends will likely be tough, and organizing outings, or rather, joining outings will be difficult.

Fluid Mech!
2nd day into my training course for stowage planning. Things are going well.
Heel, List, Buoyancy, G, GM, Metacentre, Moment, Density, Archimedes' principles, TAN(theta)! So many familiar terms. Am I glad to be an engineering graduate, who had undertaken the module of Fluid Mechanics, that allowed me prior knowledge into all these, which will otherwise seem alien to me.
My friend's counting down to 2010...why is this number now so near?

Just watched Red Cliff 2. The plot is so... John Woo style. Especially the last battle part, reminds me of 英雄本色.
Well, basically the movie version is very different from Luo Guanzhong's (羅貫中) Romance of Three Kingdoms. Well, if the movie goes accordingly to the novel, then we movie-goers will know what's going to happen. The end result though is in the similar direction but with different effects. Good efforts though, for incorporating parts of the novel's with creative new parts into the whole plot.
What I do not like though, is how the movie depicts Lu Su as a mere character, when he is in fact very talented. Upon Zhou Yu's death, he eventually took up the post of chief commander/viceroy.
Overall, not too bad.

Monday's here again!!
It's the blues... Monday's in 3hours... sux. one good thing though, going to start training on Tues! Finally.. about time to add value to my job experience. Been doing the useless shit for quite a while. Now, with 2 years to go, before the another restructuring, where we see the vsl planning get shifted to... India? Heck it.
Going to bring my old jeans (been wearing since Sec days!?!) to get a 50bucks discount from Levis! LOL...

Sick on 1st day of 2009
What a good way to usher in the new year. Wasn't terribly sick, but was sneezing much on the 1st day. And I still went out to meet frens. Nice lunch we had at Santouka @ Central. And night time was chill-out with a few others @ Harry's.
Took my med last night, and dozed off at the sofa, while watching tv... hmm, napped for an hour or so before I woke up again, feeling drowsy. The effects of the flu medicine. Now I know why it says "1 tablet each night". And off to bed I went, for another 11 hours. I dont like such long hours sleep, as it brings with it a sore back, for lying in bed for so long. Now I have to endure this sore back of mine for the rest of the day.
Today shall be a rest-at-home day.
