Fort Henry Light House

I had to work on Thanksgiving day this year, so we left for Virginia Beach the day after Thanksgiving to spend the weekend with Brooke and Eric.  We made a big dinner and just had fun together.  We went to Fort Henry lighthouse, which was really pretty.  You had to be a certain height to go up the lighthouse and Avery and Carson didn't quite make the cut, so Brooke and I walked over to the beach with the younger two while Jay and Eric took Ethan and Sydney up the lighthouse.  We love spending time with Brooke and Eric and have been so lucky to have them on the east coast with us off and on for most of the time we have been in DC - first in Boston and now in Virginia Beach.  And Ethan and Avery love spending time with their cousins!

Turkey Bowl!

This year Ethan went with dad to the annual Turkey Bowl.  They went and played in Sterling with some friends from our old ward there and Ethan's good friend Tyler was there.  Apparently Ethan had a blast and played his heart out!  Jay's favorite part of Thanksgiving (other than all the food of course!) is Turkey Bowl.  I see many more of these to come for these two!

Bridal Veil Falls

Ethan and Addi

Avery and Uncle Tanner
On a brisk Sunday afternoon, we hiked up to Bridal Veil falls. It was a pretty walk and Ethan had a great time throwing snowballs at Uncle Tanner!  Ethan and Addi always have fun together.  Addi is such a sweet girl and she is so funny!  Love these glasses Addi!

Bowling

The kids always love to bowl!  And I love that with this little ramp, even Avery can bowl.  Ethan is a pretty serious bowler.  As the ball is rolling down the lane he is leaning and jumping, and yelling.  It is so fun to watch!  I love it!

Kangaroo Zoo

When we go to visit Utah, we always try to make it to this fun bounce house place called Kangaroo Zoo.  The kids always have so much fun!  Addy went with us also and the kids ran around playing, sliding, and bouncing.  Avery was really brave and even went on this huge slide!  I was a little scared for her but she had no problem!

Utah Museum of Natural History

This is a museum at Thanksgiving Point in Utah that is so much fun for the kids.  I remember taking Ethan here when he was younger.  Addy went with us too.  The kids love looking at the dinosaurs and especially love playing in the huge sand and water play area!  It is so much fun.  At the end they have this huge shark and we asked the kids to stand in front of it.  Avery did at first, then she looked back, got really scared and took off running!  It was pretty funny!
