 Father's Day after church

Wow I am such a slacker when it comes to my blog now.  It doesn't help that we got a new computer and I hate using it.  I must be dumb but the computer is not easy for me to figure out!!  Anyhow, we had a wonderful visit with my brother Hyrum and his wife Sami and their kids.  I wish that it wasn't so long between visits!!  Becca and Russell also came up for a few days and we all had a great time together.

Christmas Day ~ 2011

Christmas was a bit tricky this year because it was on Sunday and we had church at 9:00am. Plus Janie, Reid and I were singing in the choir so we had to be there at 8:15 am. We told the kids in advance that we were going to wait until after church to open presents but that they could open their stockings before church. I know, a lot to ask of little kids on Christmas but it worked out. We got up around 7:00 am opened stocking had a quick breakfast and headed to church. As soon as we got home we got to opening presents. It was a wonderful day and we are so blessed to have the knowledge we do of the Savior. It was wonderful to sing praises to him in church and celebrate the occasion and then be able to enjoy the worldly aspect of it later.
