I forgot my login and password in the spring and just got around to figuring it all out.

Plans are to keep this up better in 2011!!

Unfortunately our digital camera recently broke and we will eventually get a new one, but til then we won't have any pictures to post.

Lads to Leaders

Gunner participated in Lads to Leaders at church this year. Kindergarten - 2nd grade levels are non-competitive, but they receive certificates/ribbons/medals for their participation. We are so proud of his accomplishments.

The theme this year was "Faith is the Victory". He participated in Art Says It by making a greeting card, a poster and a photograph. See photos here.

He also worked the whole year at obtainining points for doing "Good Samaritan" things - examples are making get well cards for church members, baking cookies for neighbors, helping with church projects, bringing canned goods for church pantry, etc. He received enough points to earn a bronze medal this year.

Gunner also memorized the books of the Old Testament and received a certificate for doing so. He had to say them to one of the LTL coordinators at our church.

We went to the regional convention here in Orlando last Friday night. He seemed to really enjoy himself and we think he will be motivated to participate more next year as a 2nd grader.

New Family Photo!

Here's one of our new pics from our Family Photo session at Sears on Saturday. I'll get the link out probably tomorrow at chemo so you can see more of us. I'm not so proud of my "basketball" face from the steroids, but hey, we FINALLY got our family photo done. We've been trying to schedule it since November!
