Being towed out of the sand dunes...because a certain someone decided to see what would happen by putting a bobby pin in the ignition. It is funny now to think about it, but it wasn't then. When we were told it was going to cost the tow co. $120 an hour off the pavement, and the dealership would charge us $500-600 to take out the pin ( take apart the dash, the steering column, replace the tumbler, re-key the car plus labor 2 hours.) Who would have thought just a small pin could cause such havoc? Well many blessings on this trip...1)only ended up paying the tow co. $68, dealership got the pin out within 15 min. told us to have a good trip and there was no charge. WOO-HOO

Then on the way home Jordan got side swiped by a truck pulling a 5th wheel. I don't think the driver knew he hit Jord. Which Jordan handled the driving very well just shook him up a bit. Not much damage to the car. Another blessing.
We are so thankful for the Lord's hands in our lives and thank goodness for prayers that are answered. We might still be stuck in the dirt.
Abby taking Jordan for a ride...hold on tight Jordo, Abby is a very experienced 4 wheeler driver!
Jordan enjoyed his morning wake up calls. Now if it was anybody else he would be putting up a good fight.

Kinzie, Cassie & Risa stranded on a picnic table in the water. They were terribly frightened as you can tell.
Cassie scaling the cliff wall to catch a lizard. Very intense :)

after the death march through the river bed...finally get to sit and empty the desert out of our shoes. And for what....?

Never a dull moment......

We had a great 2 weeks off of work and school. J took the kids snowboarding, we went sledding & ice skating, watched movies, bowling, ate lots of treats & food and played games we were lucky to have Ben & Jami with us several times during the week. All the kids made it to midnight on New Years Eve. Trevor, Jr and Risa banged pans on the front porch, this is something thse 3 always look forward to. Jordan & Kinzie don't want anything to do with that. . . party poopers! We are all getting tired and bored and ready to get back to work and school. Well maybe not all of us are ready to go back to school, but I am ready to be back on a routine.

Holiday Dance Royalty
GQ stance. . . . Jordan was nominated for the dance royalty. He is such a hottie! He told me to type that. If you ask him how school is he just says "it's ok" but really he has all these girls thinking Hey Jordo's pretty cute!

Ice Skating on New Year's Eve Day at the Gallivan Center. One of our favorite places to go. Trevor says this was the bestest day ever cuz I can skate by myself!

Happy Day!
