Custom Soap for Cheryl
Recently I got a Etsy custom order for Cheryl, a very humorous & considerate lady and I had a lot of fun emails with her.....
Not only because I'll have my annual oversea trip in less than 2 weeks and CP (cold process) soap takes time to cure, but the eagerness to create a visual treat tickles me the most. So in the past two days, again, at weekend, I was designing my "friendship cake".
I want it to be colorful and meaningful at the same time;besides it has to represent what I always want for my soap - natural ingredients. Here are pictures of the process:

I want it to be colorful and meaningful at the same time;besides it has to represent what I always want for my soap - natural ingredients. Here are pictures of the process:
Start with very bottom (Base 1), mixture with Cocoa Powder
Base 2, Ginger Powder & Poppy Seed
Matcha(Japanese Green Tea) with Calendula Powder
(knowing the tea solution will be darkened by mixing with high PH soap mixture so I actually had Green Chromium Oxide to make sure it turns greenish)
This one is an accident color, I dropped some Pink Clay in the soap mixture... well, guess I'll just keep it.
Mixing the frosting with Pearly White Mica. Until it got really thick then fill my piping bag.
TA-DA, here comes my "Friendship Cake".
Since hubby was not home when I made the cake, I was not able to take pictures while decorating my toppings.
A close-up before it went into my cabinet. After 1 day or 2, will slice this lovely yummy cake.

Playing again!
When I made my last batch of cupcake, there was leftover soap mixture and I just dumped it into a mini round cake silicon mold (5-1/4"D.) So two days ago, to finished up the cake, I had to do the frosting top. So here I am again playing with my soap thing (that's how my hubby calls it my game like his table tennis thing :)
I have orange/green carrot & blue/mauve mushroom accompanied by some tiny flowers. Like I'm returning back to a little girl........
Again, leftover soap mixture for more. Two more 3"D round soap.

Thirst for color
Few days ago, I made a new batch of soap, just want to play with the color, for the fun of it :)
Rainbow
Cocoa powder was added to partial of the soap mixture for the frosting on my cupcake.
Then the leftover of everything, I pour them into two interesting mold bought lately:

Clay Soap
I was thinking some real simple, in a adorable shape, with all the good quality of natural handmade soap, plus a little goodness of clay..... Here is the result:
Pink Clay Soap
French Green Clay Soap
Kaolin Clay Soap
I'd also pour the left over soap mixture into my cupcake silicon mold, followed by whatever I have handy, be it rose petals, soap flower & leave, soap round & shaves....

After a long day working in the office, edited CAD drawing for furniture, once again I sat in front of my computer. But it's rather exciting and happy - to display my products on Etsy. Just to imagine those who favorite my shop review my new babies :)

One fine day
Imaging that woman standing in front of her own work. Gazing at the color flow with a smile... pick up in turns of different soap and sniff.. if there is a music as a background. That would be 100 percent perfect :)

Pies, I'd love more...
Very often, the creation itself brings so much joy and happiness. Since the previous cupcakes & fruit pie were embraced by so much of woos & ahhhs, I almost cannot wait to make new "pies" :)
.
Woooo....
This one, it's "Lemon Green Tea Pie" :)
It's Green Tea base, Lemon Layer and topped with Whipped Cream frosting...... sounds yummy? I bet you..... look!
Let's party !! @@##:))))
