Movie: Australia, Bedtime Stories

Went to watch 2 movie wid Ken @ vivo... Australia and Bedtime Stories

e movie is quite long... almost 3 hrs... dere's kinda like 2 story line in it... enjoy tis movie... a few touchin scenes...

didn't enjoy tis movie as much as Australia... not bad... a few funny scenes...

Taiwan Trip (17th-24th Dec)

Taiwan Trip... 17th-24th Dec...

had mornin flight, thus had to wake up @ 5+am to get ready... in e end i nvr slp @ all... btp pei me chat in msn and ltr tru sms...

took e window seat, bt cuz i was sooo tired, end up slpin almost truout e whole ride @.@

had lunch upon reach taiwan... super full cuz gt lunch durin e flight...
can't really rmb where we went for e 1st day... can rmb gng to Qing Ren Qiao (Lovers' Bridge) and oso e Shih Lin nite market...

stay in e best hotel rm tt i had ever stay!! wakaka... we stay in a suite sia!! how cool is it? n i haf a rm all to myself... wee~ Cool rm isn't it? ultra big wid 1 livin rm, 2 bedrm n 1 kitchen area... e rm in orange light was my rm... while e 1 @ e bottom rite corner was taken by wy n dez...

n wad's more cool is tt... our suite can c e sunrise!! frm my rm as well as e livin rm... *pt to pics below*

Can't rmb e trip in details actually... we took e train to hua lian which is 3hrs long...


e next day we went to e mountain area... can you believe tt the mountain are actually marble?! yepyep... e whole mountain area... really beautiful dere... took pic b4 gng up n lots of pic while we up dere... went we came down, we went to collect water from the spring...

at 1 of e hotel tt we stay, dere's a grp of yuan zu min welcomin us... nice song... my family took some pic wid dem...


Went to this place where dere's natural rock formations due to erosion... The most spectacular 1 is the rock which look like the head of an Empress... and hence the place is name aft it...
Took a boat ride down the River of Love, aka Ai He... dere's several yi shu jia along the river... n oso can't forget e yummy food... hehe... the sight may not b as pretty as those of Hong Kong... But still enjoyable :)

Went to tis place to c a rock formation tt look like a lyin cat... didn't took a pic though :P

my cousins n i entertain ourselves by takin more pic!! haha

Visited Jiu Zu Wen Hua Chu as 1 of the places of attraction... didn't visit the whole area cuz e lack of time... Had to take a cable car up the mountain to visit the diff tribe...

Watched the performances as well as try out some of the activities dere... like being blessed by the witch doctor... and oso to play the game where you haf to use a pole to poke tru a ball tt tossed up into the air... if u manage to poke it tru, u haf tt luck... n wad kind of luck depends on wad kind of ball was tossed... dere's wealth, love, health, studies and others tt i can't rmb...I'm really lucky cuz I manage to do so on my 1st try on tt activities... btw.. it's e ball of wealth... hehe...


Went to a shop set up by the Mao Zu... Listen abt ling zi and stuff... my sis and I even took a photo wid e Mao Zu princesses... On e left is e elder princess while on the rite is e younger princess...

For 1 of e dinner, we had Shua Shua Guo... Steamboat dinner ^^ had your own little pot instead of those in Seoul Garden or Yuki Yaki... I took the ma la guo... But not really spicy... There's lots of variety dere... really yummy!!

As it is Dong Zhi, our tour guide is soo sweet to treat us tang yuan to celebrate dong zhi... Took pic wid our Taiwan tour guide, Meyo... At the airport b4 gng bak to sg...

And oso some crazy shoots like those of our shadows... some zi lian photos... And oso jump shots!!

On the last nite of e tour, went to Shih Lin nite market wid mom n sis... saw lots of puppy... kawaii!!! aft walkin ard e area, onli den we realise how lil we covered on e 1st nite tt we were dere...

Did lots of shopping... really happy cuz i finally got a bag tt i'm been lookin for since a few yrs ago... on top of tt, bot some tee n oso necklaces... n oso e 3D eeyore jigsaw puzzle and e lil 3D star keychain jigsaw... Lots of souveniors that I bot for my friends n oso myself... hehe... gd thing tt mom gif me a lil more $$ n oso grandma for payin for my jigsaw... cuz e amt of $$ tt i bot over is onli enuff for me to buy those souveniors and some of e stuff tt i wan... oh ya... n spend a lot on e toy-grabbin machines!! cuz it's veri popular @ taiwan~~ hehe... gt a lot of prize caught frm dere...


There a lot of stuff that happen throughout the trip... The places that was visited... But as it been quite sometime since e trip... And I can't find e itinerary of e trip... can only mention those tt I rmb and those frm e pic...

Really wish to haf another chance to go taiwan agn... too many things too little time!! haha...

Dear all,

Following the sharing session from your seniors on their OIPP, these are the 3 overseas institutions that you may consider. Attachment period is from 9 march - 29 may 2009 (12 weeks) after which you will return to school for another 12 weeks of FYP. OIPP is considered your IAP overseas so you will not be attached to a local company upon your return; you'll undertake your FYP in school.

Australia - Griffith university
China - Jiangnan university
Malaysia - "I havent gotten the name of the govt lab. This is the Malaysia Government lab (like AVA in Singapore) and its in Tampoi (~12km from Johor Bahru Town). Accomodation for a single bed is about 300RM/mth)"

Pls take note that there's no allowance for OIPP and you have to bear ALL costs during that 12 weeks including your airfare. Your seniors have already shared the approximate amount of the expenses for that 12 weeks.

Pls take note that applicants will need to go through an interview with the Director of the school. Do not worry about the number of applications as each institution is able to take up to ~6 students.

But i haf gif my words tt i'll stay tru-out no matter wad... becuz a CCA is a commitment... not something tt ought to b take jokinly... come as u wan, leave as u like...

so wad if a junior has a higher rank den me? if he is much more capable, much more knowledgable in tis field den me... i believe he ought to b given tt chance... I seriously dun mind... becuz i doubt my capability to lead...

rank... it doesn't seem as impt as it used to... yes, it will look gd on e leavin cert n stuff... BUT...perhaps, it was cuz of wad i witness b4... it is not abt givin a person e rank jus bcuz he/she is a senior... i strongly believe tt it is given for e capability... for e effort put in...

I'm grateful enuff that e seniors recognise e effort put in by me... tt dey tink i can b given a chance... bt e truth is... i didn't really put in much... not as much as i had in GG... I onli try to make it to every event tt i can so tt Erny won't b so trouble findin manpower, findin some1 to oversee everything...

well... how things gng to turn out... we shall jus wait for tt day...

Workin wid Selvi ltr @ 3pm... she and Andy saw my work schedule... and told me tt i can go ltr if i wan to... cuz i haven haf any break frm work since last fri... Andy purposely call me jus to tell me abt tt... n selvi sms me soon after...


wish i can go ltr anyway :( aisah told me to do item listin n i haf to go all e way to Northpoint to do e printin... haix...

As i was sittin wid da n erny... Was served the halal menu... 1st time tryin out a muslim 9-courses dinner...

Was suppose to b @ a diff table frm da n erny... bt i jus sit wid dem... hehe... not much diff... in fact still gt empty seat...
The host were great...
And guess who is one of the guest of the event?
Yep yep... Fann Wong... Cuz she's e ambassor for the New Moon Bird Nest... Each of us was given a bottle of Bird Nest for the toastin ceremony...

Great food was being served to us... And great performances were served to us too~ Performances by Safri Boys, By Definition and not forgettin the interstore dance competition... Left our table during the interstore dance competition so as to get a better view of e stage... hehe

1st up was Cold Storage... Adopting a musical scene from the musical Chicago... I scored them for deir dance...

Next up was 7-11... I scored them for deir costumes!! nice~ *post to e pic below*
Next up was Giant... They did a cultural dance @ e start... which change to pop music somewhere in e middle... I scored them for deir music... hehe

And last bt not least... GUARDIAN!! *ok i'm bias to cap n bold guardian... bt hu cares... haha* It's GREAT~~ the fire stunt and the costume and the dance... Awesome~ I score them for the stunt... *w8 patiencely for da to upload her vid of e dance*


Went backstage aft e performance to meet aisah n haf another round of phototakin session... And pretty surprise to meet Chris @ e backstage...

Guardian is the Champion for the competition... While Cold Storage got the 2nd... Then 7-11... Lastly Giant...

It was my 1st DnD... And not forgettin e 1st dinner event I went too... since I didn't went for my grad prom in sec sch...

Enjoy myself lots~ was there from 6+ til 11.30 i tink? bus-ed home wid da... super crowded...


Very soon i'm leavin Guardian... Guess tis will be another unforgettable memory that I haf while workin @ guardian... another month or so left...
