my global pols lecturer will be devastated by this piece of news.
bob denver of giligan fame in the 60s died at age 70 last friday.
its andrew philips'(lecturer) fave show that one.giligan's island.
anyways, its so sad i cant talk about how sad andrew would be because noone else i know takes this subject.
when is season 3 of the o.c. or gilmore girls coming back on tv?
im bored with the shows they have on tv nowadays.
shows that are worth watching:
-rock school (gene simmons teaching prep school, classically trained children how to
rock it,'kiss' style.)
-ally mcbeal (reruns of liza aka christina ricci's short stint on the show)
-oliver's twist (i like cooking shows la.hee)
THATS ALL.
pathetic?yeah i think so too.
anyways,
has anyone heard of or still use the word canoodling recently?
if u dont already know it means "snuggling up" or something along that line.
in linguistics class, this ahem somewhat wierd guy sitting beside me suggested that it might mean eating noodles out of a can.hence,canoodling.
eeyer,cant stand him.
and i watched charlie and the chocolate factory.
quite draggy esp the oohmpa loompa dances.
the book's better.
and this spring/summer watch out for jake gyllenhaal cos he'll be in 'jarhead'(from the director of american beauty) and brokeback mountain (where he plays a gay in love with heath ledger).
oh ya.heath ledger married his co-star(not gyllenhaal for goodness sake) dunno-wat-her-name-is.they met on set.
and for all those who are going "huhh" at the name gyllenhaal,he's the guy in 'bubble boy' sometime ago.
if u havent caught that movie.
ummm, watch it to get some cheap laughs.pretty hilarious.
he always does indymovies but this time i think his 2 upcoming projects will be more mainstream so im looking forward to watching both.
yay.
and other movie trailors i saw yesterday before charlie&thechocfactory:
yes-"the corpse bride" (tim burton!)
yes-"harry potter and the goblet of fire"
strictly for kids below age 8-"the adventures of sharkboy and lavagirl"
whateverthisis-"skyhigh"
