depressing and sian sunday that turned into cheena night/karaoke session...: most of us felt down and really bored cos of some probs and also cos me and ann havent been out the whole day.cheer up yt!everything'll turn out fine.dont worry...and adel,its all part of growing up.we're at a stage in life where independence and life without family is hard to cope but tt's all part of life dear!remember....must be "happy happy...nothing nothing...".after ann left,we played all the cheena songs on yt and chell's laptops and sang them on the top of our lungs.missed going to the karaoke.the gang decided to mebbe go this weekend.yay!



steamboat/kakaka session/barley jokes: the girlies (plus chiewkeng and dwin) had steamboat.damn shiok.took pics and laughed a lot.we learnt more about dwin's himbo-ness.white mushrooms become octopus.wth.had a gd laugh.after everyone went home,i stayed over at adel's to play gunbound!damn fun.addictive.(chell says hi...she's next to me).ck kept calling us to crack lame jokes.he and his tom and jerry joke.hah,he also told ann that all he heard on the phone was me and adel kakaka-ing.barley toast,barley wanton...wth.



coconut shopping trip/movie and bingeing afternoon: ann had to buy real coconut for her drama.this being melb,coconut is nowhere to be found.not even the chinese grocery store.but i bought kaya and vitasoy from wing cheong.yippee!!ck bought sliced pig's ears from a taiwanese eatery.tried a bit.then went back to adel's place to watch 13 going on 30.btw,its called suddenly thirty in theatres here.ithot of what ann and me were discussing about the other day.we might just end up with our best guyfriendwe never thotwe'd like.even if he wasnt "cool",as long as he's sweet,tt's gd enuf.ate chips while watching.shiok.

i miss whatever's back home.the convenience brought while being where u belong.dad's little actions that are so subtle yet mean so much love.mum's constant nagging that wishes nothing but good intentions.once in a while heart-to-heart talks with sis.going to city square with nel.tennis lessons every saturday that acted as a stress relieve session whenever workload builds up in school.waking up at 5 every mon morning to reach sch in time from j.b. and crossing the causeway.looking forward to friday afternoons after a long week of sch and i can go back to my home home.it used to be a long one and a half trip back from ang mo kio.a plane ride melb-spore and back to jb by car is roughly 7+ hrs.used to be a causeway away...now continents apart.

just came back from chadstone...spent a bomb there...shopped like there's no tmr.hah.yesterday too.bought 2 bags(one jelly birkin-esque bag and the other a metallic cresent shaped tote from accessorize),lotsa tops for s/s 2004,a denim skirt and lotsa earrings from acccessorize and diva(teo must be sooo jealous).

cant believe it...hoi is finally over and im blogging again...its been a busy week...i kinda forgot what happened he past week but i'll just try to recall as i type.
on fri(13/8): went to a pte party at uropa...was really fun...we laughed so hard my abs hurt the next day.we were like imitating how the guys dance in clubs...bet everyone'll be ultra self-conscious after this.
on sun(15/8): went to nina's while ann did her media project...we had lotsa fun laughing hard while ann imitated the guys again...
on tues(17/8): in media tute....my "company" was given the "deal" by mr. tanaka(CEO of sony)...hah...yea!i got a 9.5 outta 10.
the rest of the week: did hoi essay ...slept late,woke up early from tues to thurs.watched athens2004.my friend made a point that now that we are in melb and the coverage on the swim team is so wide that the aussies are everywhere...evrytime u turn on to ch7, there they are...(jodie henry is really pro man)...so now we have someone to root for...not like back in spore where they dont even appear in heats(sorry that was a bit bitchy..)
now that hoi's over...time to par-teh!!!!we're gonna go for moonlight dancing...a trinity event...mebbe to l'incontro after that..have fun everyone!!!!!!!

woke up really early today to finish up my media project and also do a bit of polishing..then presented it at 11 a.m.!!turned out ok...few hiccups here and there but generally went well..yeah!!!three cheers for splash media(my company :))...and credit goes to my teammates jolyna and qian ying..well done girls!gotta treat them to lunch someday.
psych lecture was ok but i feel asleep at one point...hah...was real tired cos i woke up early.maureen(my lecturer) is a hell of a joker man!ultra hilarious.she talked abt personality today.do u know its actually normal tt children esp lil boys at age 3-6 to touch their genital parts??hah...then she said she had this "tai-tai" client tt thot her boy was perverted and said he'd grow up to be a rapist!!damn funny...psych is pretty interesting...tell u guys more soon...

im in the lib now...was supposed to read my HOI sources for the essay but decided to do this first.main reason: i dont know what the hell adam smith is trying to say about self interest and all tt shit.
on wed, my psych tutor showed us a video on emotions and another one on how beauty is perceived.the latter stars john cleese and liz hurley with all tt bri-ish accent (if ya know whah ah mean)...before the second video.ian (psych tutor) asked us to decide on which celeb we thot was good looking.names like brad-hairless-warrior-in-troy-pitt,jonathan-hot-guy-from-mean-gals-bennett,tom-i-want-nicole-back-cruise etc...etc...was heard all over the room.then one name came to my mind.ryan phillipe(pronounced fi-li-peh but ann doesnt agree).in the end, it was concluded he's the gd looking guy of our choice.mind you...there's only one guy in our tut...farell.wonder what he thot of tt but of course,he didnt voice any comments...prob to avoid having like 9 other gals defending ryan and screaming their heads off all at the same time...we couldnt decide on a female gd looking celeb so ian said,"as u see,it is hard to perceive beauty."(hmm...he didnt even wait till we could think of anyone and concluded on tt...prob just make a point to link it to the video and make us go..."ohhh" after watching)...in the end,we didnt finish the video cos there wasnt enuf time but i heard from siok(who watched the documentary before on discovery....hmm) that psychologists actually found out a way to "measure" beauty...its according to proportions(as most of u might have read abt).they also found out tt liz hurley is near perfect...i think she's really pretty.
