I'm cool now

Last summer I wanted to get toms because they are cool and comfy.  Karli got a size 3 and they were too big so I decided to get a size 2.  The size 2 were too small though!  (Yes, this is in kids).  I got on Toms to chat with someone and asked if they had half sizes.  It was a no go for kids shoes.  He nicely reassured me that it would be fine and said, "The good thing about kids feet is they grow really fast."  Well, good thing I'm 20!

So, I gave up on Toms.  Then my awesome cousins were in Arizona and went to last chance (which I need to go to asap because everything is so cheap.  It's like should I go down there just to goto last chance? YES.).  I get a call from McCall AND she tells me she found some toms for me.  They were size 2 & 1/2 AND were $13.  So turns out kids sizes now have half sizes.  AND they are really cheap.  They ended up finding two pairs!  SERIOUSLY?!  Best day everrrr.  Here is a picture just so you can see how cute they are.
AREN'T I COOL?!  Yes.  They are so comfy and cute.  LOVE THEM.

happyyyyyyy

FATHER'S DAY TO THIS GUY!
Reasons why my dad is the best dad ever:
He is always happy and doesn't stress about anything.  Wish I could worry about nothing like he does. :)
He is so nice to EVERYONE and talks to anyone.  He always was friends with people I went to school with and would talk with everyone.
I know he has a strong testimony of the gospel and wants to share it with everyone.
He always came to my games and supported me no matter how I played.
He always has time for us kids.  Whether it is playing games with us or helping us with homework.
He does so much for our family.  Goes grocery shopping always.  Drives all over town to get something that is on sale because we have coupons. :)  Picks kids up all day long.  Drives us on trips always, even if it is in the middle of the night.  And never complains.
He always makes me feel loved.  Always asks, "How's it going dear?" and asks me about school.
He fixes everything even if you have tried to fix it a hundred times.  He can come and fix it after trying once.
He kills bees for us and vacuums up flies in the house.
He has 8 daughters and still is able to stay sane.  That's amazing right there.

Funny story about him.  In Germany there was this fountain that would squirt high off and on.  My dad thought that he had it figured out and knew when it would squirt high.  Well, he did the calculations wrong because he got soaked.  He didn't see that coming.  Seriously, hilarious.
Love you pops!

homeeee

As I've mentioned I went home a bit ago for Jami, Lauren, and Karli's graduation and state tennis.  It sure was hot for tennis and we were outside allll day.  BUT it was worth it!  All 4 of the girls placed.  Lauren and Jami both got 1st, Hannah got 3rd, and Karli got 4th.  Are they cool or what?!  Here are some pictures from that event.
This is Karli's tan line from her knee brace.  Pretty great I'd say.  And from her shoes of course.
Too be honest we took about a million pictures.  We were excited?!
Claire felt left out and said that about a BILLION times (love you claire :)) and so we took a picture with just her.  And because she is cool.
Dad quickly got tired of the pictures.
Good job girls!  Then there was their graduation.  The graduation party was at Melissa's house and it was great!  Good old mom had us up at the crack of dawn getting ready.  And gave us no time to eat.  Luckily we were there ready 4 hours early just ready for people to come.  That was an exaggeration but lets just say mom was fretting all day about the party.  And the no lunch part was real. :)  Here is us getting ready for the partayyy.  It was like Thanksgiving all over again.  A million of us in the kitchen all doing different things.  Love it.
Pictures from the party.
And graduation night!
It is basically impossible to get a good picture where everyone in my family is looking.  This is the best we got.
Yes Alek is 12 and practically the same height as me.  What can you do.
Yay girls for graduating.  Lauren and Karli are down here now at BYU.  Sure am excited for that!

happy day

The other day I was skyping my family and my mom had something to show me.  It was my CTR ring!  I had lost it but she found it.  Best day of my lifeeee.  This is the story of my ring.  I got it for Christmas 2 Christmases ago and loved it.  I wore it every day.  I went to get my nails done and had to take it off.  I put my ring and my phone on top of this pamphlet I brought with me.  Well, I got home and realized I didn't have my CTR ring!  So I figured that when I picked up the pamphlet my ring went flying.  I called over there and they looked all over and even went through the vacuum and couldn't find it.  I went through my pockets of what I was wearing too.  Well, this was months ago so I had given up.  I brought clothes home to give away to my family when I went home a few weeks ago.  AND my mom was going through the bag and washing some of the clothes and found it in the washing machine.  I MEAN.  How did that happen.  No one knows.  But I am happy.  See.
You ALL need to go and see Water for Elephants.  Such a great movie.

calves, hair and etc.

Story time.

In order to go home I had to get someone to cover my shift.  Which meant I worked their shift from 6:30 to 3 AM.  It wasn't the most ideal situation but also wasn't the worst thing of my life.  It helped that I didn't work that day so I was able to sleep in.  But then I worked at 8 AM the next morning.  Whoops.  I guess it was worth it seeing 3 of my sister graduate.  And 4 of them dominate at state.  I guess.  :)  Anyway, let me tell you about my experience working that late.  For one who knew it was crazy busy from 6 to 8.  Also who knew that from 12-3 no one called in.  Well, I saw that coming.  (We are open for the people who have day when its out night.  How nice of us right).  Before my shift I met a nice guy named Adam.  We also happened to have our dinner break together.  This is where it gets interesting.  A few reasons I wasn't so sure about him.
1.  He was married and worked until 3 AM.  Just saying I feel like he should be home with his wife at that hour.
2.  He was eating food from the fridge that wasn't his and had been there for a few days.  A salad with dressing on it.  Not sure if that was a good idea.
3.  He was married and wasn't wearing his wedding ring.
4.  He went bananas about my calves.

About number 3 this is how the conversation went:
Adam:  Are you married?  (After saying 3 times, your calves are seriously AWESOME-while motioning towards them violently.  Like seriously huge.  Wow those calves.)
Me:  No I'm not.  (I don't have a wedding ring on?)
Adam:  Why not?
Me:  Not really sure.  Are you married?
Adam:  Yes I am.
Me:  Where is your wedding ring?
Adam:  I use it as a key chain.  More people talk to me when I don't wear it.

I'm pretty sure I'd want my husband to wear his wedding ring.  Just saying.  He then invited me to come and play poker with him because work was going to get slow.  Well I accidentally didn't go even though I said I would.  Whoops.  He came over to me later and said sorry if he freaked me out earlier.  Then he told me I was a very lovely lady and it was nice meeting me.  He was very nice.  And interesting.  Needless to say I hope I don't have that shift again.  I'm just saying.

On another note.  I realized lately slash people keep telling me I dye and change my hair a lot.  And boy were they were right.  Some pictures from over the years.

I was blonde.  For quite some time off and on.
Then I have colored it dark.  Lots of times.  Slash I cut all my hair off at one point.
And now here I am with dark and blonde combined.
What to do next you know.  I am ready for something else.  I get bored with my hair easy.  Also a side note.  I have been growing my hair out for years and it is finally long again.  About time.

Welp time for bed I'd say.
