OHHHH SICK!!!!! 8-11-2008

I got home from the gym @ 6:00 a.m. and my kids are still asleep, Josh is out running so I sat in the living room to read my scriptures in the nice quiet peace of the morning. Then I noticed something moving out of the corner of my eye.....I look over and there is a MOUSE in my fireplace!!! I was freaking out!!! I had to take pictures so Josh would believe me. He didn't know how to get it out so we put traps in the fireplace. We haven't caught the mouse but we also haven't seen the mouse again. But we've heard it!!!! AHHHHHH! I woke up the other night and could here this noise that sounded like little mouse feet running around in my blinds. So I kept opening the blinds and couldn't find anything. This continued going on for about 45 minutes and it was 3:30 a.m. @ this point. Josh was asleep downstairs with Kaylee (hoping to get her in her own bed and have a nice sleep in his own bed, yeah right!) So I thought maybe it was outside my window so I opened the window (forgetting the alarm was on) and set the LOUD AS HECK alarm off! OPPS!!! Here came sleepy Josh wondering what in the world his crazy wife was doing setting the alarm off @ 3:30 in the morning. We finally got in bed and I kept hearing it all night long. Every time I would hear it I would shake Josh and say, "Did you hear that??" He was so mad at me in the end because we didn't get a lot of sleep. Well the next night WE hear it again (after Josh teased me all day & said I imagined it). To make a LONG story short it was in my wall between my bedroom and bathroom. It was so gross! You could hear it running up & down and all around. I had to go sleep in the guest room because I couldn't handle hearing that. Josh stayed up and pounded on the wall, took light switches off and then began to drill holes in the wall hoping to get the mouse! We haven't heard the mouse since Sunday the 16th. I don't know what happened but I really hope it NEVER comes back!

This will be one of the biggest things I miss about summer.....my girls just hanging out and having a great time with each other! It brings me SO much joy & happiness to see all 3 of my beautiful little children having tonz of fun with each other. I love my girls more than anything in this life!!! They have brought me more joy than I could ever express!!! They have also taught me how to truly love others and put others first. I guess they have taught me what life is really about!!! Thank you girls.....I will love you ALWAYS and FOREVER!!!!
