sweet dreams

And this one also. Took just over a week(40 hour working week sucks)Based on a pattern from an issue of A.P.Q. which had quite a bit of tweaking. Made with a fair amount of (you guessed it) calico, pastel fabrics for a baby girl. Measures 60'' X 56''

sleeping teddies

Well, finally finished it, Not my usual thing(no calico whatsoever) but plenty of teddies.

It was really quite fun to make, although I DID adlib a little bit. It was adapted from a design by Dianne Rayner for Patchwork Haven 1995.

cancer council raffle quilt

this quilt I made as a raffle for a fundraiser for the cancer council walk for life last year. Completely machine pieced and appliqued with my favourites, calico and country. I raised $700 and walked for 24 hours. the pattern was a chookshed company pattern and measures 60 ins. by 60 ins.

This is my version of teddy bears picnic. As you see it features my much loved seeded calico.

This cot quilt measures 60 ins. square and was made for a work colleague who had her baby two weeks ago. It was presented to her about a month ago. the origional had very plain yucky green sashings. I enlarged the appliques to 120 percent and scrapped the sashings. I also put in a verse of the nursery rhyme around the outer border to set it off.

my blog

This is my latest quilt, finished 24th march 2oo7. I started this on a weekend retreat with my quilting group, took about two weeks as it is wholly machine pieced and quilted (as is nearly all of my work) and is predominantly (sp.?)calico which is also featured often in my work as I am very calico oriented. Will add more when i get used to using this site. Cheers jorja
