Our Angels

I just found a couple of pictures that help me remember that our "angel babies" never really die. They live forever in "eternal felicity."

We Love you Spencer , you're perfect to us!

Thank You

To my wonderful friends, cousins, neighbors:

It's been almost a week since we heard the heartbreaking news and I'm doing okay under the circumstances. I just had to send you all a great big THANK YOU. Many of you have prayed, fasted, sent kind words, cards and flowers. Every little thing has meant so much to me. I usually cry just at your thoughtfulness. Please know we're okay. I find myself crying off and on throughout the day but I'm also able to carry on as a mother and wife. My three living children bring me the greatest joy (and frustration) imaginable. I'm so blessed and have the best husband anyone could ask for. He is hurting very much too and appreciates all your kind words and prayers. I also know and have become more sensitive to this truth that I'm not the only one who is suffering and experiencing grief and pain at the trials of life.

Let me share my favorite scripture.
It brings such comfort to my soul and I pray it will help you through your difficulties:
"My [daughter], peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment. And then if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes. Thy friends do stand by thee, and they shall hail thee again with warm hearts and friendly hands." (D&C 121:7-9)

All my Love,
Jordan

Our Sad News

Today brought a day of tears and heartbreak as we learned from our Doctor and our ultrasound that our baby BOY has been diagnosed with anencephaly, a condition where the baby's brain, skull, and scalp have not fully formed. We were devestated to hear that our baby will not survive outside the womb for more than a few hours at most. I'm crying as I write this but I know many of you are wondering about our baby and it's just easier to post this. So, again we prepare to give another child back to Heavenly Father. I don't know how long the baby will survive in the womb or how long I will carry him. In the meantime, I'm loving every kick and movement. He is very alive and we feel his Spirit. Despite, the pain, sorrow and loss we feel, we will enjoy him to the fullest and look forward to the day when we will hold and love and raise our little girl and little boy. Please remember us in your prayers,
Love,
Jordan and Michael

Adorable little brown eyes

Here's my brown-eyed baby (for 5 more months). Trevan is 2 1/2, loves Mickey Mouse, blueberries, playing outside in the mud and all day long says, "Watch-a ME!" while jumping off a couch or table or something!

Cam, the "Cat in the Hat"

When Cameron came home from Preschool looking like this, I had to snap a picture. In honor of Dr. Suess's Birthday, Cam's preschool teacher turned all her students into little "Cats in Hats".

Cool Helicopter

Like some of you other moms, we did the Discovery Gateway museum too. The boys especially liked the Life Flight Helicopter. Here's Tyler as Pilot!

Story time

Isn't it fun when you do things with your kids that you did as a child? My kids love to read the Berenstain Bear books. I do too- I grew up reading them. They always teach a good lesson. Too bad we don't own the "Messy Room" book.
