So the funniest thing happened this week. Hunter has an obsession with shutting doors, he can't leave the hallway until all the bedroom doors are closed...yeah, it's wierd! I was going out into the garage earlier last week to put a box away and all of a sudden the door shuts behind me. Of course it had to be locked and Jon wasn't home, so I knocked on the door patiently to have Hunter open it. I don't know what I was hoping for because he doesn't know how to open doors. Well we didn't have a spare key hidden outside so I ran next door to the neighbors to use their phone to call Jon. I was crying and all upset because my two babies were locked in the house all by themselves, but my neighbors were great to comfort me. I dialed Jon's phone, but he wasn't answering, ahhh! Of course I forgot that I could just climb through a window.(It would have been very awkward to watch me hop up throught the window and slide into the front room.) I felt like such a horrible mom. I was crying and Hunter came up to me and gave me a hug. I don't know why I was crying over being locked out for only 10 minutes. The funniest thing about this story is that only a few days after that, Hunter did the same thing to Jon and I wasn't home and of course I forgot to put a spare key out and I had locked all the windows and didn't have my phone with me. Luckily, I came home only 10 minutes after that. Well now we have a spare key hidden and we are trying to teach Hunter not to be so obsessive about shutting doors.
