Saturday, about 930AM, I was texting my college friend, Jejie, from Manila and having heard the bad news from him, he is still confined at the Ospital ng Maynila suffering from internal hemorrhage and his kidney is bleeding. I tried my best to reassure him that he'll get well soon as he confessed to me thru his text message that he is getting afraid everyday of the development of his illness. I couldn't do anything more but tell him to hold on and include him in my prayers. After 30 minutes of our text conversation, I proceeded to our locale and attended the locale-wide anointing of oil. This is a perfect time for me to pray not only for myself but for my good friend as well. he has not been attending church services lately because of his illness. May God heal him.

Its a tiresome day as church activities line up, upto the end of the month. Performances will include GEM, wedding and baptism.

Just got home from Nenet's place and had a little gathering in there. Also, Ka Nestor arrived from a vacation in Manila. This means, our day-duty guarding at the chapel is over. The care taker's home!

i'm looking forward for a "brighter" week. i have passed my resume to a prospective employer and if our home phone rings anytime this week during office hours, well, i don't know. i'm not prepared for my "would-be-reaction" right now. i'm tired.
