The weekend of the 30th of April, Bobby and I decided we needed to take a little family trip. We were unsure of where we were going to go. We tossed ideas around, like going to Cedar or to California. We left Friday night after Bobby got home from work about 11:00. We drove all night to California. Got there about 4:30 Saturday morning. We tried to get a hotel room on priceline, but due to some difficulties with emails, phones going dead, GPS going dead, etc, we got one on Expedia, or so we thought. We got to the place that we were SUPPOSED to stay, and they had no recollection of it in their system. By this time, it's now about 5-ish. We then just said "forget it", and drove to another place which was a Best Western, with a Denny's. We got breakfast, and then Bobby went to go check the place out. It looked good so we checked in at about 6 on Saturday morning. What a MESS!!! Anyway....Saturday we vegged for a bit and then went driving around, got some lunch, drove by the ocean, let Caleb go see the water for a few, and then drove some more. Went back to the hotel and dropped Bobby and Caleb off for a swim. Me and the little guys set out on an adventure to IKEA. Let's say that was indeed an adventure! After we got back, we rested a little more and then went and got some dinner. Sunday rolls around, we are deciding what to do. Should we or shouldn't we go to Disneyland? I said to him that we may as well, since we were in Anaheim and so close, that we should. We took all the kids to Disney on Sunday. As always, it was very busy. We didn't get to do as much as we thought, because we had 3 kids to take around, and had to take turns going on rides. We didn't even get to see the characters. Although, I did see Minnie Mouse from a distance, and also Jessie from Toy Story. It was a pretty fun trip, despite all the problems we had getting a hotel room in the middle of the night, and kids being onery at Disneyland. We will go again, but not till the kids are a little older or else we take a set of grandparents with us.
