Karston Tate Butler 9/27/12

Karston Tate Butler was born yesterday, Sept. 27, 2012 at 4:11 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19 inches long. He sure is a cutie pie! It is so weird to have a baby boy in our family finally. Kelly was induced yesteday morning because she had preeclampsia again. Congrats to Chad and Kelly!

LAKE POWELL!

We had SO much fun at Lake Powell! Jonathon's whole family went, and we had a blast! We spent our time swimming, fishing, visiting, tubing, and eating! Lake Powell is definitely one of my favorite places to go to!!

 It was so nice of Chris and Summer to let us all enjoy their houseboat for the week!

       The boys playing "500." This is the reason Jonathon lost his wedding ring :( It now sits at the bottom of the lake.

 Kinleigh played in the sand the whole time. She loved that she could get as dirty as she wanted.

            We went fishing off the docks the last night we were there. We used to do this all the time when we lived in Ticaboo.

 I made Jonathon drive past our old little trailer that we lived in when we lived in Ticaboo. The company Jonathon worked for had these set up for the miners and their families to live in down there. It was so weird seeing it again. We had grass planted and everything when we lived there. Now it looks pretty crappy.. but it brought back a lot of memories. Alexis was at such a fun stage when we lived in Ticaboo. The window below is where she'd look out from to wait for Jonathon and Grandpa Erwin to get home from work every day. Us girls spent almost every day down there at the lake. It seriously was such a fun little place to live. We didn't think so at the time, but living right by Lake Powell was so awesome!

Paisley is 3 month old!!

Ok.. so I know this is total overkill on the pictures.. but I just can NOT get enough of this cutie! I can't believe my Paisley baby is already 3 months old. How time flies when you don't want it to.

 

Paisley is the happiest baby in the world! She will smile at you all day long :) She loves when people talk to her!

Paisley is definitely our calmest baby so far. She is very chill and rarely gets fussy. The only time she really fusses is if she is overtired or hungry.

She has rolled over from her stomach to her back three times already!

She already is trying to grab at things in front of her :)

She still loves her binky but will not keep it in her mouth, so we still use the elastic. LOL

Paisley is already trying to sit up.

She scratches at her face and her head when she is tired, so we have to put the little mittens on her hands. She made herself bleed the other day.

She was born with a ton of beautiful dark brown hair.. and is now almost bald :( I am SO not happy about this at all.

She LOVES when Alexis and Kinleigh talk to her!

She loves to watch her sissy's play and dance!

She loves to watch cartoons in the morning while she sits in her bouncer :)

She still only eats 3 ounces at each feeding. Which is usually 2-3 hours during the day and 2-5 at night.

 Paisley was sleeping about 4-5 hours straight.. but the last couple of nights she is going backwards. The longest she's slept the last few nights has been 3 hours. I am a tired momma.. but it's okay. I'm hoping it is just a little phase and she'll go back to being a great sleeper! PLEASE PAISLEY :)

We seriously adore our baby girl.. and I am so sad she is growing so fast. I'm not sure what she weighs right now. We will see at her 4 month check up!

Random happenings!

 On Jonathon's last week off.. he decided that he wants us to get into hunting! We've always wanted too.. I mean I grew up going out with my Mom and Dad.. and Grandpa all the time! Jonathon decided to get us these shot guns.. so that we could start practicing. Obviously we are a little too late for the deer hunt this year.. so we are going to get into "Bird" hunting. Like Pheasants, and Duck. So we went out and practiced one afternoon. I didn't do horrible. I mean I hit two of the clay pigeons!! I probably shot like 50 times though.. so obviously I need more practice! It was fun to go out and shoot though :)

 We went up to Tibble Fork Reservoir twice on Jonathon's week off! First time we went fishing :) And the second time we went on a nice little hike with Jesse, Bethany, and Julian!

  After fishing.. Alexis and I went to Olive Garden for lunch! Daddy was nice and watched the babies!

      And last but not least.. this is our newest family member! Her name is Roxie and she is 4 years old. She is trained to hunt Pheasants, and Duck, and other birds that I'm not sure of. Jonathon was very excited to find her on KSL.. and since he wants to get into hunting.. he just had to have her! We drove to Beaver last week to pick her up. It seemed a little far to me to drive to get a dog, but she's been well worth it! She knows how to sit, stay, fetch, heel, and goes right into her dog run when we say "Kennel up." It's been SO nice having a dog that is trained and out of the puppy stage! I'm pretty sure that is the way to go :) She doesn't whine or bark all the time like puppies to either. Jonathon and the girls love her, and as long as she stays an outside dog.. I will love her too!!
