God is Real
Last night, I attended a talk named The Bible Inerrancy by Rev. Daniel Wong (王俊才牧师) organized by IKUPM MCG. It was thought provoking talk. Some may doubt God existence. Some said where God comes from. God is truth, and He already exists and exists by Himself. All creation comes from Him. Today, God give Christians, His Word, The Bible which was written by more 40 bible authors. The writings of the authors did not contradict with each other but they have one common theme which is about God’s salvation for mankind. Because of God is truth, only then, the Bible has its uniqueness. Among the uniqueness of the Bible mentioned in the talk are:
1. 内容统一 : 上帝救赎 (The content is unified: God salvation for man)
2. 超越理性 (Beyond the Rational)
e.g. 三位一体上帝论 (Trinity of God)
3. 道德绝对 (Moral Absolute)
Bible Verses: Matthew 22:34-40 Exodus 20:3-17, Hebrew 4:12-13, Jeremiah 55:8-9, Psalm 10:5, Ecclesiastes 11:9
4. 据实报导 (Honest Report/Record)
e.g. The Bible recorded King David sins.
5. 预言准确(Accurate Prophecy)
e.g. The Fall of Tyre (Ezekiel 26)
6. 使人的赎 (People Redemption)
7. 更新文化 (Updated Culture)

蜗牛营 a.k.a Snail Camp
I would say that I enjoyed “蜗牛营” or Snail Camp (direct translation). Thanks be to God that I learned a lot from the camp. This camp would be my last camp in my university era. I remembered that I have been in the Port Dickson Methodist Centre before and that was 4 years ago (2005). The place has not changed a lot. The facilities and the surroundings are still similar to four years ago. Well, it did bring nostalgic moment for me. Almost my entire batch has left university for work. Some went back to their hometown while a few of them are furthering their studies. Time wait for nobody. We have to appreciate the time and the opportunity that is bestowed to us.

The End is Near...
My university - UPM will be closed started today until next Tuesday. It looks like the influenza A H1N1 is getting worse. The students here were told to go back and the Vice Chancellor announced Mid Term Break which is 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. Life is as usual for me. I went to faculty this morning and have a little discussion with my supervisor. The influenza reminds me that the end is near. We can't do anything about it. All we need to do is to pray and let Him handle the rest.
